It’s close to the beach, offers beach chairs, umbrellas and other things that you can take and return. It has an adult pool and family pool in separate areas (this was great as we were on a little getaway without our daughter). Parking was convenient.

The only thing I have to say is the beds were not comfortable. I slept in the sofa bed and I had to put the mattress on the floor and still felt uncomfortable. The main bedroom had a better mattress but still not comfortable. I hope they can change that, I like to relax and be able to sleep when on vacation.

Excellent location and view of the ocean ! Enjoy walking to the beach and close to excellent restaurants and cafes. Appreciated the laundry room at very fair prices.

I prefer my quiet well behaved dogs to loud unruly children. The no dog policy seems a bit unfair. Also the diarrhea sign at the gate as you enter the pool ? Is that really necessary?

Location by the beach, it was quiet, close to shopping in Carlsbad. Loved the adult pool option plus the family pool area. Lots of on-sight fun with corn hole, mini golf, grills, game room.

No food available. We had pop tarts for breakfast twice but that’s not much especially for a longer stay! Would love to see some kind of breakfast options at a minimum.

We loved being able to see the ocean! The rooms were very well designed and the unit was bright and airy. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen facilities were very good. The underground parkade was handy and secure. The staff was friendly and housekeeping supplied what we needed on a daily basis.

The construction noise was a bit annoying but we were made aware of this when we booked. The bathtub plug didn’t work snd the bathtub was ridiculously shallow. The carpet needs replacing as it was stretched badly in places.Also..it would have been nice if a restaurant had been on the property or at least close by.

We were traveling as two families with toddlers and this place couldn’t be more magical - the beach is right here, pools are heated, shops and restaurants are right around the corner, rooms are spacious, quality beach equipment are free to use, and the overall vibe and ambiance is incredibly cozy, tropical, and extremely well maintained.

Comfortable, clean and well maintained property. The property is a little older so could use some renovations which I think they are working on. The staff was friendly and lets us borrow beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys and even a life jacket for our kids.

there really isn’t a beach across the street. we walked across the street right when we got to the property and there was a rocky cliff and not much sand. We did have to drive to the beach, but it was only a short drive down the street. Not walkable with beach, chairs, and umbrella. It only takes about five minutes to drive into Carlsbad but there are definitely no food options anywhere within walking distance of the hotel. the benefit to this is that the property is quiet and there is never a problem to come and go as you please and to find parking.

The resort was clean, beautiful view, location was great.. quiet but not too far from the city.. They had an adult pool, kid pool, fire pits around the property ready to go. BBQ grills available to use. The room one bedroom suite was amazing. Ocean view with a garden tub.

There wasn’t direct beach access, but a small walk to the shore

Loved the kids pool/splash area and proximity to the beach. It’s a bit of a hike down there, but still easier than finding parking nearer to the beach. It was so lovely to be able to check out beach chairs, towels, and even a beach wagon to use. I would definitely come back, especially if I have my kiddo with me!

The ocean and sunset views were very nice. The oceab bluffs were easily accessable.

The facility was going through a major refurbishment, which would have been nice to know when we booked our stay. This meant that trucks were blocking the streets and filling parking spaces, the facility had many detours, and the noise was disruptive during the day.

LOCATION WAS WONDERFUL! SO QUIET, BEAUTIFULLY MAINTENENCED. WE LOVE THAT THE ADULT POOL IS SEPERATED FROM THE CHILDRENS AREA. MY HUSBAND AND MYSELF LEFT OUR KIDS HOME IN ARIZONA TO HAVE SOME MUCH NEEDED REST AND RELAXATION. THIS WAS OUR SECOND TIME HERE AND WE WILL RETURN AGAIN.
