We were pleasantly surprised by the spacious well-appointed rooms, exceptionally comfortable beds and pillows and we appreciated that the air conditioning was on when we arrived, cooling our room on such a warm, summer day! The hosts were warm and friendly and even provided a kettle and tea for our room upon request. The pool was also a bonus and towels were provided. Restaurants and shops were within walking distance and the light breakfast the next morning filled our bellies for the next leg of our Canadian road trip.

The air conditioner was a little noisy, so we turned it off during the night. The room remained cool, however.

Our two queen room was surprisingly large. We had a small balcony with an amazing view of the city and the river valley stretching northward. The bathroom towels were of a good quality,, as was the bedding. We had a ground floor room, an so were able to park right at our door. The small fridge had a freezer in it, so I was able to re-freeze the ice packs for our cooler. We also ate at the Indian restaurant on the property. Good food and incredible view.

The room lighting could be better. Also, the quality of the toilet paper could be better.

We had such a wonderful stay at The Vista Inn! The staff were helpful & checkin & checkout went smoothly. Our King room & facilities were top rate, with even a wonderful view. Set back from the highway, it was quiet & the bed was comfortable for a good sleep. Parking was plentiful & easy. We really liked quality coffee with our own Nespresso machine & 4 pods available in our room. The ‘grab n go’ breakfast of juice, granola bar, muffin, yoghurt & apple was a welcome addition to start the day. Great position a short walk from shops & restaurants. The Vista Inn is definitely our new ‘go to’ for accommodation in Kamloops & very highly recommended.

Nothing - loved everything

Location is fantastic for getting on the highway. Headed towards Vancouver. Perfect for one night stay. There’s a nice Indian restaurant right next-door. Staff very accommodating. We were on the ground floor – unfortunately the people upstairs were quite loud.

Not very good sound insulation between upstairs and downstairs – the upstairs people were loud. Also, it’s pet friendly, which is fantastic, however, there is no place to take your pet to relieve themselves. The only grass we saw had a big sign on it it said no dogs.

I was glad to be on the ground floor, as requested. The view was lovely and the room was clean. Everything worked as expected. Glad to have a fridge. It was great to be able to park in front of the room. Also close to everything.

The "grab and go" breakfast was okay, but when items ran out, they weren't restocked....In this case: yogurt. There was an hour left for breakfast, so there should have been a few more put out. I didn't care for an apple, so a banana would have been nice. The variety was limited. It would be great to have more than one type of snack-bar, juice or fruit, etc.

A well located hotel that was a short drive to everything we needed. The hotel looks like it has been recently refurbished and the rooms are large, clean and comfortable. A light and grab go breakfast was good to be included and we loved the kettle that reception provided so that we could make a good cup of HOT tea and Moccona coffee!! (BYO Moccona from home Aussies, you will need it)

Noisy neighbours upstairs, which is just inconsiderate people. (Not a fault of the hotel)

Refreshed, modern decor, updated rooms. Friendly welcoming staff and ease of location as a 1 night stop over travelling from Whistler to Golden. Good value for money for a clean, simple, comfortable nights stay. Ample parking and good view out of the room over the valley and river.

Shower was weak and kept going hot / cold, fridge was noisy and a/c was too loud to have on while sleeping. Pillows were all way too high to be comfortable (personal preference)

Loved the location, the customer service, and the room. Very clean and comfortable. Fun pink accent colour. Staff at the front desk were exceptional. We've already rebooked for a future stay.

Some of the renovations weren't well thought out. For example, having a squeeze dispenser at the bathroom sink, made it very hard to access and because it was almost empty, it was very hard to squeeze. But other than that, the room was great.

Asked about laundry and breakfast Petty but important Staff never offered to say..you need loonies ..no money exchange in laundry....so had to go back for change Why not tell you everything to start Breakfast is yogurt, granola bars pre wrapped muffins ...coffee and juice boxes in reception No sit down...all to go All good but a better FYI This is breakfast included....not as expected

We loved the large rooms! Beds were comfortable and room was very clean. Our view of the mountains from our room was amazing from our own private balcony. We also loved the outdoor pool! It was a very quiet and relaxing stay and will definitely recommend to family and friends visiting Kamloops

We were hoping this hotel offered a sit down breakfast. The "to go" breakfast was a bit disappointing
