The apartment

Rules of not having a friend over for a night only is frustrating. It’s as if it’s res.

The location is great. Away from the city and very calm. The place looks exactly like it I on the pictures.

The cleaning staff were mean to us on the last day. We were nit aware that the check out time was 10h00 and they came knocking at put door complaining 🙄 and waited outside our door while we prepared to leave and we could hear their complaints(what an un pleasant and distasteful way to treat guests). They literally ruined our mood. The WiFi also didn't work , we informed the reception, they kept promising to come fix and nobody came till we checked out.

1 set of keys and remotes for 3 bedroom unit. Alternatively we needed to share a set of keys with the cleaner which resulted in some confusion and limited access for my children. Security was not understanding of this matter.

The proximity to the Century City Conference Centre and other amenities. The free upgrade to a larger apartment and the block-out curtains worked a charm in the business area. Complimentary coffee station and good Wi-Fi.

The property - Bathtub plug did not close, not sure if this is still due to prior year's water restrictions. Location - Be aware that the accommodation is located in a business district close to busy roads and surrounding buildings' lights are on all night (thankful for the block-out curtains). The Cape is always windy even though the balcony faced away from the sea and mountain it, it unfortunately comes with the territory (can't have it all).

Excellent location in Century City. Close to shops and the large Canal Walk Shopping Center. Close to highway access and approx 25 minute drive through to Cape Town and Seapoint. Excellent cleaning service with fresh towels every day. Safe and secure parking in a lock-up garage beneath the building. A washer/dryer in the apartment.

A write - up on how to use the induction hob and oven would have been very helpful. I did a lot of self-catering for my family. The technician was fantastic - and responded immediately to my request for assistance. I will definitely stay here again. Electric plug sockets could have been more stategically positioned. A little difficult for electric toothbrushes and shavers in the bathrooms and hairdryers in the bedrooms.

The location was great! And the reception lady was super kind. The unit was clean and spacious I love that each room had its own bathroom.

The security guard seemed to be rude, when we needed him to buzz us up to our floor, even though we asked for more than 1 tag card as there were 5 of us staying there and not always together. The other is we thought there would be air conditioning in each bedroom but due to Capetown being so windy the windows open were a treat so it worked out well. A suggestion for the unit maybe a clothes hanging rack for washing :)

Out apartment was serviced every day at lunchtime. So you would go out for the morning thinking the apartment would be serviced during the morning only to return to have lunch and have the servicing done around you when you were eating your lunch. It was impossible to get this arrangement changed. Showers ran hot most of the time on many occasions there was not hot water at all.

The flat was immaculate with all the facilities. I was well equipped with all household contents including tv, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, iron etc. It also had well equipped kitchen for self catering facilities. It was very clean , had cleaning services everyday. very much impressed. very secure.

Location, secure, comfortable, spacious apartments. We were 4 people and we had breathing space in general living areas. My sons loved that we had a smart TV vs just a flat screen. Check-in was a breeze and the staff was very helpful.

The unit does not have enough power points, had to do some work over weekend and access to plug in laptop was only the kitchen. Also lighting in the living/kitchen a bit too "romantic" I.e. dim but. Have a feeling that all units are like that in terms of lights and power access points (so not necessarily a unit issue).

Location and spacious.

Please put hooks for hanging behind doors n some in bathroom and maybe extra table in rooms to put stuff. And it also needs something to help with luggage like a luggage trolley from parking to apartment. Sometimes you have to make several trips to unpack car which is difficult.
