Lovely little cottage with beautiful countryside views especially during sunrise/sunset. Conveniently located a stone throw away from a gorgeous sandy and shell-filled beach. It has everything you need to make a simple meal at home with comfortable sofa chairs (enough for everyone staying to sit) and an expandable dining table. Very kid friendly (just be careful on the steep stairs). Cleanest accommodation I’ve ever stayed in, could not fault their hygiene at all. No toiletries which I didn’t mind as the shops was only a short 10-15min drive away. Towels, dish wash, cleaning sponge and toilet rolls were provided.

The bed mattresses were really uncomfortable, we had 3 bedrooms and all of them would sink down to the base as soon as you sit on it, felt very springy and would creak with any movement you make. Upstairs bathroom was a bit impractical as no shower head, only two water outlets but had either super hot water (enough to cause burns) or cold water to fill up the bath tub.

The property was ideal for the 4 of us. Very clean and beds made up and towels were provided. Plenty of hot water and the heating worked well. Right on the edge of the nature reserve so lovely to see the rabbits and wild fowl out of the window. Good sized decking all round the property which would be fantastic in the summer. Cafe wasn't yet open as early in the season. All the staff were so friendly and helpful and even allowed a late check out as the property didn't have another booking which was appreciated.

As the property is made of concrete and we were possibly the first people to stay, it was very cold when we first arrived although the heaters had been put on. However, after a chilly first night, the property soon warmed up and we had to turn the heaters down. Perhaps the heating could have been put on earlier on the day of our arrival to warm it up a bit better. But later in the year this wouldn't have been a problem. Difficult to get the wet room downstairs to dry out after use, but probably wouldn't be an issue in the summer. Stairs to the upstairs are very steep which was mentioned on the website. We managed with them, but some people could find them a problem.

If you’re looking for a luxurious stay, this might not be the place. But if you’re looking for convenience and practicality then this is where you go. The place was a walking distance to amazing pubs, lovely beaches, a park, a distillery and lots of cafes. Surrounded by greeneries and it’s very quiet. Pros: close to a lot of convenient and great places. Place was extremely clean. Heating works beautifully. Enough towels provided. Cons: unless you’re booking a big place, the bungalows are attached to each other and your neighbours are a lucky dip. Water pressure for shower dips half way through. WiFi is to be paid for and is expensive and the signal is t great in the area.

Located on a nature reserve with various birds and rabbits in short walking distance to Seaview - a resort with beaches, a couple of pubs, cafes and a deli. You can also eat at The Seaview Hotel with a fish and chip deal on Fridays. The Property was small but very clean and equipped with all we needed. The deck to the back and front meant we benefited from the sun morning and night. A bit frustrating that there wasn’t room for a bedside table on one side of the double bed and that sofa cushions kept slipping off the seat. Staff were very helpful.

Nice & clean & very comfortable beds.

The tin opener doesn’t work 🥺 Mirrors not near plug points in bedrooms, pleased I took my multi extension lead & shelves needed under mirrors for use while doing makeup, & a full length mirror would be good. If I owned such a property to rent out, I would think of it in the terms as using it for myself & make it more user-friendly. Could do with hooks on doors on inside bedroom doors & more clothes hanging places, hence the The mention of hooks. Velcro hooks in bathroom kept falling off.

We loved the cleanliness and the proximity to the beach

The property is excellent though for an older person there were accessibility issues. No grab rails in the bathrooms. A step into the bathroom which was difficult to manoeuvre, a step into the property.... door frames not wide enough for a stroller. My mum definitely needed support to get into the bath room. Deck furniture was not suitable for an elderly person which made sitting outside in the sun difficult? Perhaps a bench on the decking might be better?

The property was light and airy with all amenities necessary for a stay. The property was immaculate throughout and perfectly comfortable for my partner, stepson and myself. Had amazing views across the small nature reserve and a HUGE area for the boys to play football and tire themselves out. Lovely walks in the area, with great views of Portsmouth of a night, very quiet and blessedly dark. Lovely little terrace area out the back to sit and table with parasol. Staff on check in and check out were lovely. All in all an amazing stay and we will definitely be coming back!

The sofa being on laminate flooring meant under what appears to have been a breakfast bar, my stepson sat on the sofa which slipped underneath this bar area and smacked his head which caused quite the tears as you can imagine. Which really isn’t much of a quibble - just pop small pads under the sofa legs to stop them moving so easy to avoid it in future…

Staff very friendly. Cottage was very clean and modern. good value for money. Nice grassy area for the kids to play on. Very close to the beach.

Charging for Wi-Fi is going to annoy some people. I'd advise the owners to just slightly increase the cost of a night's stay and use this extra revenue to then provide the wi-fi for "free". This could increase both revenue AND customer satisfaction! The main bedroom was pretty tight, with limited space between bed and wall, but not a problem for us. Not many shops/restaurants in walking distance, but again that didn't bother us at all.

Staff were very pleasant and helpful, especially booking the crossing for us. We loved the position of the bungalow, we could watch the wildlife, while having a cuppa in the warm! Nice to have all you need, there was washing up liquid, cloths etc. There wasn't a hairdryer but when asked at reception, they were so helpful, they dropped one down to us. You had to purchase wi-fi, but that was okay, you could use multiple devices and it worked!

The only thing that could have been better was first impressions at the reception, the pots outside had lots of dead plants and reception, needed some maintenance i.e. painting etc.
