Rome is a big city but if you want to be near the Vatican Hotel Pacific is a very good choice. Easy walking distance to both the Vatican and the Metro line (including pushing a large wheeled suitcase). A lively surrounding neighbourhood provides all the shops, amenities and restaurants one could need. Nice hotel, attentive and very friendly staff and a superb breakfast make this hotel a very good, affordable place to stay.

NOT a "What didn't you like?" but more of an observation. Our room (and I assume all rooms) had a very nice, new, well maintained, shower cubicle. The only issue is that the water was slow to drain away, meaning that with a low lip on the base the water filled up quickly in the base. This meant keeping an eye on the water level in the base to ensure the water did not overflow onto the bathroom floor. This is not the fault of the hotel but more the design of the shower base unit and a restrictive filter.

The location is in a very good place, only 400 meters from the Cipro metro station. It is an ideal location for easy access to all touristic places. The hotel staff is very helpful, Mr. Roberto is friendly, the cleaning is very successful, the breakfast is perfect, there are many options.

The single room is quite small, it would be better to have bathroom slippers

The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows and good bedding, and AC was cold. We were in Rome during 38⁰ temperatures so a cold room to return to was heaven. Very good breakfast with plenty of variety hot and cold. I'd booked a standard double, but when I mentioned I was a smoker, they bumped me up to a bigger room with a balcony at no extra charge. Cipro metro station is 5mins walk and a bustop outside the hotel. Plenty of bars and restaurants within a 5-7min walk as was a Carrefour supermarket.

The shower cubicle was a little small but the shower was decent. It's not the most scenic location, sandwiched between two petrol stations, but it sufficed. It wasn't well soundproofed, as I found out my first night when it felt like someone was wearing tap shoes moving furniture around in the room above me. Also could hear the lift and people walking/ talking right outside my door. Finally, the construction quality wasn't great in room 308, all the sockets and light fixtures wiggled, the toilet roll holder wasn't firmly attached. Felt like a slap dash DIY renovation.

I had a very enjoyable stay here, near the Vatican and a few minutes walk to the metro. Clean room, with fridge. The air conditioning worked great and it was definitely needed as it was 30+ degrees. Excellent breakfast one of the best Ive had in hotels, lots of choices, hot and cold food, bacon, eggs, sausages, beans, bread, cakes, pastries, croissants, a huge spread of vegetables and salad, even a yogurt machine. There are a few supermarkets nearby, and the excellent pizza place 2 minutes walk from the hotel.

One bad point are the thin walls, I could hear the conversation in the next room. Despite this, I will definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was exceptionally good with a lot of variety and fresh fruits and other healthy options. Room was clean. Good WiFi connectivity. Staff were very polite and quick at responding to queries or concerns. Convenient location close to metro station. Vatican City is at walking distance. Overall good value for money. Was provided with a complimentary small bottle of Prosecco and Italian cake by the hotel for New Year’s Eve, which was quite thoughtful I felt.

I took the single room where I found the bed was quite small. Room was really warm and had to open the balcony door at times for ventilation. Lot of traffic noise on opening balcony door.

Comfortable, spacious rooms. Excellent breakfast with large selection. Best coffee we've had on our trip. Staff was so helpful with everything we asked, including directions, transport and a recommendation to a wonderful restaurant a short stroll away. The Vatican is a little more than 10 minutes walk.

Street noise is noticeable. Close to the Vatican, but you definitely need transport to the central district for the Coliseum and other attractions. But, all in all, a great stay and excellent value.

Great, relatively affordable, no frills hotel. Staff were really nice and the breakfast was great and available from 7am for those with early plans. Only 10-15mins walk from Vatican museums entrance and 5mins from metro station few stops from central station. Also the area immediately around is not that touristy so for food the local trattori were authentic and nice with just a few phrases of Italian required. Good room servicing. Useful mini fridge to store some water/food with a 24h supermarket nearby.

Everything was great but note the single room and bed is quite small. The area is quiet but there will be some traffic noise if not used to that. Ear plugs helped.

The location is great if you want to visit Vatican and other central spots in Rome. There’s parking available for an extra price, but there are also some free parking areas around. The breakfast is also great with a variety of local and classic breakfast foods, fresh fruit, pastries, etc. Helpful and friendly staff.

Rooms are a bit weirdly renovated (the furniture and some parts of design seem new, but the fridge cupboard has peeling paint and seems old, the bathroom is clean but kind of old-fashioned). Nothing serious though

Reception staff were very helpful when I encountered a computer problem unrelated to the hotel. One man offered to do what he could but in the event a different solution was found. This was an example of personnel going beyond their normal duties. Location near Cipro metro station and not too far away from the Vatican. pope Leo was celebrating his first papal mass. Very good breakfast. Good eating places nearby.

Being next to a petrol filling station was not ideal. Traffic quite noisy. Rome was very busy.

When we arrive, we are welcomed by the receptionist “ Aurora”. She is very nice and helpful. The property has in a good location and very accessible for eveything. I asked to have a late check- out and the receptionist was very nice and helpful because she let us stay until 1 pm.

The room is very small. The wardrobe is very small for 3 people. Very small desk . No drawer at all to put your valuables in safe. The double bed is so uncomfortable and moving down when you move because they combined the 2 single beds. The duvet is so thin. The pillows are so thin. We did not have a good sleep . We are 3 people in one room and we were given 2 towels. The body wash in bathroom is empty. The tissue paper is 2 pieces but in a half. The handwash is nearly finish. The upper room is too noisy and we need to go to reception. The breakast has a lot of variety but the pine apple fruit is ot fresh. The croissants are cold and a bit wet maybe came from fridge.
