Stunning hotel with incredibly attentive staff. We had a 4am pick up to see Angkor Wat and the kitchen staff prepared a backpack full of breakfast goodies and coffee for our morning- such a lovely touch and very appreciated. Breakfast was fantastic with mimosa or champagne available. The pool area was lovely and was quiet when we were there. The bar had a lovely moody atmosphere and a great range of whiskeys to try. Sadly, didn't have time to use the day spa but it did look amazing. Would definitely go back if we visit Siem Reap again.

The charges when booking included taxes but had a nasty surprise when presented with a bill larger than what we had confirmed in our booking and was advised upon checkout it did NOT include the taxes after all. The staff would not waive even though I showed them my booking with my confirmed pricing. Left a bit of a bad taste after such a lovely couple of days.

Raffles is the iconic hotel you expect to see. Possibly the best hotel in Siem Reap. When you enter you feel like in an Agatha Christie story.

The food. The trip with the boat is nothing from the brochure. 89 USD for a 30 meters sail in a reservoir (not to see the flooded villages) in a small boat and the food and drinks offered were gin tonic and caju nuts. This was a theft

The service of all the staff were absolutely outstanding. The lemongrass oil burnt thorough out the hotel was great for me to prevent the mosquito bites. We really loved the amazing breakfast every day, the breakfast boxes prepared for the sunrise tour and the nice touch of the turn down service every night. The hotel programs including lotus folding were lovely.

The bathrooms were all on the smaller side given consideration the building is 92 years old. One of the rooms’s basin and shower were blocked during the first 2 nights but the hotel staff changed us to a new room and turned out to be great.

Lovely hotel in a great location to the temples. Also, away from the crazy crowded night life. The breakfast is divine- the pool is lovely and the service by the staff was fantastic. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else in town. The price of the hotel is very high as are the food and drinks. We only had one dinner there and it was $108.00 US for a hamburger, chicken dish and 2 slings, also spring roll starter. This is really high for the area. The add VAT and service charge totaling 24%. You get what u pay for in accommodations I would eat elsewhere for a long stay. The breakfast is worth it if u plan to tour all day long!

Hospitality (noun): the friendly and generous reception and entertainment of guests, visitors, or strangers. Could not have been more true. The family loved every minute - cooking class, wine tasting, lounging by the massive pool, just having the lovely staff say a good morning to the kids by name. In our opinion, this is THE BEST HOTEL IN THE WORLD RIGHT NOW (sorry, Aman; Four Seasons; Mandarin Oriental, but they really are a tremendously warm and stylish act to top).

The resident Curator (yep, they have one) asked me this when checking out and, for once, I couldn't give a single, helpful suggestion about what to do better. "Don't change", I stammered.

All the staff were excellent and made our stay a wonderful experience. Our driver Phakum was excellent through out our vacation, you are lucky to have such a talented employee. Cameron the guide you provided was also excelent and answerd all our questions with great enthusiasm. They both obviously have a great knowledge and love for their country and Raffels. Sorry if I have mispelt their names. I forgot to mention the swimming pool and spa which was beautiful.

Nothing our vacation was perfect.

Amazing hotel. Location in downtown. 3 min walk to the nice restaurants and big supermarket. National Museum just behind the hotel. 15 min walk or 3 min ride to Night Market and vibrant city area. Hotel with beautiful colonial design, amazing hospitality, super friendly staff, cozy lobby and bar and stunning breakfast area! Very recommended to stay in Raffles to enjoy such a beautiful experience

Champagne breakfast was perfect! Eggs Benedict were the best we've ever had!

The dinner show Saturday evening was so so... the performances were okay but the food wasn't anything special, plus the venue was a bit too warm. There were also some language barriers like at the dinner show when we thought the champagne was complimentary and it wasn't.

The location, the amazing pool and service, a truly beautiful place.

It may sound petty but shower was very very small but a large bathtub with shower handle for the MANY people who would not fit into shower space. What really was unacceptable at any level hotel is for toilet seat to be much smaller than underlying porcelain size base of toilet, and I am a small person.

The service was exceptional from all the staff....very friendly and welcoming. Loved the pool and all the external areas. Breakfast was superb!

The only disappointment was 1932 restaurant...the food was disappointing. Not very hot and was better at other traditional restaurants we tried.
