I was pleasantly surprised with the accommodation. My expectations were low. It was basic, cosy and exceptionally clean, which is all you need in Margaret River. The cabin had sufficient loo roll, rubbish bags, good tea /coffee and kitchen facilities, inc salt and pepper sachets. The internet is poor (if you're hoping to do work/stream anything..) - 4G with one bar. Will definitely return to this park.

My only complaint is our cabin didn't have doonas on the kids beds (in winter). Luckily our friends next door had spares. Also the mop head on the mop was broken. Very minor things...

I like the kids playground and the availability of the common electric stove. the cabin has good space and sufficient utensils for a family staycation.

we did not receive the check-in information such as the key box password since we arrived after 5pm. We are lucky that one of the tenants opened the box for us to retrieve our cabin keys. the electric grill is tricky to use since the stove heat went out after a few minutes and need to be restarted. we are also, unsure how to clean the stove properly

We loved our stay at the Discovery Park in Margaret River. the staff were quick to respond to questions, were happy, professional and courteous. We loved our little cabin, it was very clean and had everything we needed. The kids were happy with the bouncy pillows and animals and their bunk beds and the activity books reception gave us for the rainy days.

Honestly, there wasn't anything we'd change.

Nice farmstay with few cows and sheep . Animal feeding at 5pm daily. Good facilities such as bbq pit where u can cook and enjoy sunset.

Please note that checkout time is 10am! Staff refused to extend even an hour for us. I have travelled to close to 30 countries and this is the only place with a 10am checkout. The female staff even argued that she has been with many hotels and check out is all 10am. Prior to this, I was in Perth, pinnacles and swan valley…all the checkout is 11am or 12nn…..so if you cannot checkout by 10am, please do not book at all

The room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Kids loved feeding the animals and the big jumping pillow was a hit! We will definitely be back

The only thing that needs improving is the WiFi, it didn’t work in our cottage & the internet coverage for Telstra didn’t work well in the area.

The cottages at Taunton are very nice: spacious, clean, well equipped and with a view over the property and adjacent paddocks. So much nicer than the often very-close-together pre-fab colourbond cottages you find in many campgrounds. Very friendly staff, plenty of farm fun for children (feeding time!) and a good place for an early morning walk in the county, with plenty of birds and kangaroos. Good location for the whole Margaret River region. Shop/cafe etc only 5 minutes by car.

Nothing negative about the cottage itself! If I really have to say something it would be that there is some noise from the highway

Lots for the kids to do. Animal feeding was a highlight. We were stuck for a couple hours with a flat tyre but the kids had fun on the go karts and inflatable pillows. No dull moments! Beds were comfortable and warm. There are coin operated washers and dryers available. Fully equipped kitchen. Great location, short walk through the sheep pasture to the margaret river Dairy company (best yoghurt!)

WiFi is practically non existent in the cabins

Location and the cabin. Such a good place for kids with plenty of activities. The cabin is perfect for a family with young kids. We were made to feel welcome at all times.

The wifi was quite slow and at times we struggled for phone reception.

Great facilities for families. Being able to hire the 'schoolhouse' is a great feature for a special event/gathering.

Signage around the property could be improved, for example regarding the animal feeding when it is wet weather.

Stayed 2 nights with family, exceptional place for seniors, adults, and children. There are lots of things to live with, within the park, from birds to animals and good playground with large bump for children to jump on.
