The price, the gardens, the friendly staff, the magnificent shared dining room, lounge and kitchen filled with cape to cape explorers and stories, free laundry! Nespresso coffee machine. Also scored a room upgrade from shared facilities to an en suite 🥰. Then realising it's only a few minutes walk across to the beach for sunset 🌅. All in all at least 50% better than we expected.

If I was to be really picky 😏 I'd suggest a tiny table with chairs in place of the comfy bedroom chair and the addition of a couple of stumps and boot cleaners on the way to the rooms but only if I was being REALLY picky. 🥾🪵 Honestly though fabulous set up. Keep doing what you do!

This was a WONDERFUL stay - we can’t believe we didn’t know about it! Perfectly comfortable beds, toilets nice and close by (beautifully hot running water and their toiletries are amazing and available to purchase from reception) The amenities are simple but high quality, they have spared no expense on their teas and coffees available, plus the washing and drying machines are brand new. It was lovely to curl up by the fire in the communal space, or find a quiet corner to read in a comfy chair. We were 12 min from the main strip in Margaret River, which was just perfect for getting to all the places in the region we wanted to go! Could not recommend this place enough!

There is nothing to fault from my experience, we absolutely loved staying here, and would have stayed longer if we could!

The facilities are amazing for those who want to cook thier own meals. Lots of fridge space, all cooking needs provided. The lounge areas were also large and able to accomodate many different small groups without over crowding The staff were helpful when asked about local attractions. Pool was nice on a hot day. The location is generally well placed, half way between the north and south areas of the southwest capes area. 10 minutes from Margaret River. Walking distance to a local cafe, the White Elephant and a lovley coastal track up to the surf point. This was my fourth stay here and well worth it again.

Nothing too bad to mention. While it is nice to have a bathroom in the room, it is advertised as a seperate block and thus was not surprised. Other rooms for more price do have bathrooms attached.

The room was spacious, very clean, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was particularly cozy, and the attention to detail in the décor made it feel luxurious. Free coffee <3

The noise from neighboring rooms was occasionally disruptive, but I understand that's beyond the staff's control. As someone who values quiet time, it was sometimes challenging with children around. That said, it's a fantastic place for families to enjoy.

the location is spectacular, one block from stunning undeveloped coast and around corner from a friendly pub. It is run by intelligent, professional people that care about the customer and show compassion. their choices make sense and make the place feel like home -- from a communal kitchen, to free laundry, to free Nespresso to music on all the time in the common areas to just being logical and friendly- something hard to find a lot these days in hospitality. it is also a place where hikers doing the Cape to Cape trail stay so a bunch of cool well traveled people stay here and the common areas are great for conversating with like minded individuals and travelers. Also the stars at night are amazing because of not much development around-- one of my most fav places I've stayed around the world.

that I had to leave ..hahah

It was my second stay here at Surfpoint, I think that says it all. A nice, small and quiet resort in a great location within walking distance to the beach. From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave; you feel comfortable and welcome every minute. The staff are extremely friendly, courteous, and helpful. I asked for a late check-out when booking and was told immediately that they would be happy to fulfil my request if possible. This was the case, for which I was very grateful. I would also like to mention the fantastic kitchen, which is equipped with everything you could wish for. I would have liked to stay longer, but I will be back. If you're looking for accommodation that makes you feel almost at home, then you should definitely plan a few days here.

We had a fantastic experience at Surf Point Resort. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. Th communication was always clear and efficient. The facilities were spotless, clean, and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The place has beautiful spaces that add to the overall vibe. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for comfort and warm hospitality in Margaret River

Great layout of rooms and facilities with relative privacy, even though we were sharing bathrooms. Spacious and well thought out sleeping, living, dining and outdoor areas. Easy walking distance to lovely Gnarabup Beach for swimming and beach walks and/or chilling out at the cafe!!!

Imo communal kitchen area was poorly organised, particularly with numerous people utilising the space at once (I.e. such as having the toaster right beside sink making it difficult for different people using them at the same time). Also fridge and freezer space was very limited for late arrivals like us and could be better organised, with peoples food items scattered everywhere rather than stored in such a way that you could tell what belonged to whom.

Lovely flashpacker type place, magnificent location, and the kitchen, dining and lounge areas were exceptional. Room was comfortable, walking distance to everywhere. When in the area, ensure that you visit The Sea Garden cafe, their food is awesome.

Could have a place to put luggage, and also, would be nice to have some en suite rooms (but the staff put me in a room right next to the amenities block, so I only had a teeny way to walk :-))

Location was excellent. Commercial kitchen was large, clean and well organised. Check in and out were easy. Close distance to The Common which serves great food too. Has a lovely communal feel to it.

Only complaint is the bed, which was ok but given that it was two singles pushed together, it was uncomfortable if you ended up in the middle part.
