Dirk has been a wonderful host and truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. His place is clean, comfortable, and filled with a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere. You can really feel the care he puts into everything—he provided us with everything we needed and more. He also gave us great recommendations for places to explore, from the beautiful Margaret River region all the way down to Augusta. Thanks to him, we discovered some incredible spots we wouldn’t have found on our own. This has been one of the most relaxing and stress-free stays I’ve ever had. Highly recommend Dirk’s place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in nature, with a warm and generous host.

The room had a very comfortable bed which was somewhere between a US queen and US king bed in size. The tub for soaking is in a great spot, surrounded by windows. Breakfast was pretty good - I especially enjoyed the different jams, breads, the local honey, and the fresh fruit. The little terrace accessible from the room surrounded by gardens is nice, and we saw a couple of kangaroos when driving into the property. The common areas are beautiful - I especially loved sitting outside for breakfast. Helpful host that recommended several things to see.

Our room had apparently been flooded the morning of our stay and it felt rather damp even though it had been cleaned up. The small fridge inside the room was rather loud.

Big comfortable bed. Great bath Great shower, Toilet in a separate room also. So one can go the loo abd one can shower or bathe. Big bathroom. Lots of ammenties. Nice little bit of wine as you enter. Slippers or socks for your stay. Great choice at breakfast. Great hosts who helped with anything. Attentive. Polite. Good eggs. Nice dog too. Very clean. And just beautiful little area. WiFi availability if u need it at the door. To check in. And keys available after hours.

Great hospitality, owners were very friendly and welcoming people. Room was nice, big bathroom, we loved the spa bath. Everything was incredibly clean. Food for breakfast was high quality and they have a good coffee machine which is a big bonus. Great location, super close to the town and also to the beach. Very nice being amongst the trees, was super quiet and peaceful.

Beautiful, comfy bed, superb bathroom with a great 2 person spa. No need for extra blankets in winter, there was great insulation. Dirk, the owner, was a gentleman who provided great site-seeing tips. Daily breakfast was great.

Can't think of anything that could be better. The whole premises were very peaceful, very recharging.

Pam and Dirk are such a nice host. They made us feel like home. Dirk provided us resourceful information about Margaret River areas, which were very useful for us to arrange day trips to those suggested places. I also liked homemade bread Pam made ☺️

It would be great if a small cornor of kitchenette is provided; something like a microwave would be useful. Besides this, we love everything about this place.

Waking up each morning to the sounds, sights and smells of the bush. Beautifully decorated bedroom, well designed bathroom, outstanding public areas, lounge, dining room, patio… all accessible and inviting for guests to enjoy. Continental buffet breakfasts with an extensive choice of designer home made breads, honey from the property’s bees, and other condiments from Margaret River’s Berry Farm. The hosts Dirk and his wife have created a relaxed and welcoming ‘home from home’ atmosphere, charmingly aided by Bonnie the ‘doodle’? cross.

Longer staying guests might appreciate some drawer space in the bedroom, possibly by the bedside or under the TV.

Wide variety of continental options served in a cosy, scenic dining area. Thoughtfully appointed room with Chromecast, electric blankets, plenty of power points and huge well appointed bathroom with twin sinks and a double spa.

Not enough pats with their cute puppa Bonnie! :) Seriously though, couldn't fault the amenities or service.

Dirk & Pam were great hosts, available as needed but respectful of privacy. We loved the ambience of the shared central guest area and the views of the birds in the garden. Breakfast was fabulous. The best B&B on our trip around the South & South West of WA. Have some photos on camera but will have to download later.

Lovely rural setting - so peaceful. Very comfortable room and lots of attention to detail like a welcome glass of wine on arrival! Breakfast was excellent with a great selection and lots of home made elements including honey from the owner’s hives.
