An ideal spot for a relaxing getaway. The cozy chalet is perfect for couples, offering an open-plan design with a wood fire and spa that create a sense of spaciousness without losing its cozy charm. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the location is excellent—close enough to Margaret River town for dining out, near Prevelly for beach visits, yet far enough out to be immersed in nature. The serene lake on the property adds to the peaceful atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning! The hosts were super friendly and helpful.

Beautiful gardens, chalet immaculate, extrodinary attention to detail i.e, lamp on for late arrival, throw rug, extra supplies like paper towel, glad wrap, cooking oil just to list a few. Lots of bin bags, toilet paper, detergent not just the usual minimal amount as per other places. Nice crockery and everything you would ever need for your stay. Spotlessly clean. Good clear directions and communications. We had a wonderful stay.

Nothing we disliked

Very comfortable, with large rooms, friendly owners. The wood fire set of this picturesque landscape perfectly. Highly recommend staying at this lovely secluded location.

Phone reception was not great in our chalet (but worked at other spots within the grounds), however the free wifi made up for it as we could still use devices and whatsapp to make phone calls.

its fairly near the main city and supermarkets - about 10 min drive sorrounded by vineyards which makes it easy to get to for wine tasting. Quite near the chocolate factory Located in a big compound that you can go walking in the morning Great view of stars at night (Yup - its dark - bring a torchlight)

Clean and spacious accommodation. Very well equipped and maintained kitchen, comfy beds, good curtains to allow easy sleeping.pleasant outdoor deck. Good separation from other cabins/houses. Well maintained and pleasant grounds with plenty of birdlife. Pleasant rural area, neat well maintained properties.Easy access, good parking close to our house.

Nothing, owners Rob and Mel were great hosts and they have a wonderful property.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Bushy Lakes. The chalet had everything we needed, and was neat, clean and comfortable. The owners were friendly and responsive when we needed something. The surroundings are beautiful: big trees and a peaceful lake. I am someone who is bothered by road noise so I was a little concerned by the nearby road, but we found that it was very quiet at night. The location is perfect - near enough to the township for things you might need, but also very close to the beach. My 7 year old was sad to leave and has asked to go back and stay there again :)

The chalet was immaculate and well presented, a-lot bigger than some of the other chalets we’ve stayed at too. Very comfortable and great value for money. The owners mel & rob , were super lovely and exceptional communication. The location is just beautiful and close to everything with also being secluded.

The chalet was absolutely amazing. It far exceeded our expectations. We loved everything about it. Beds, full kitchen, spa, spacious rooms, little attentions from the owners: a few dishwasher tablets, salt and pepper, milk in the fridge, Foil and glad wrap, barbecue on the verandah and more!

Great location, only a short 8 minute drive to town. Check in was easy, Mel and Rob were lovely and able to answer any questions and help when we needed it. The chalets themselves were in excellent clean condition, great views. We really enjoyed our stay and will book again.

We stayed in the Heron #5 for four nights and we loved it. Mel and Rob greeted us on arrival. The chalet was well stocked with all you needed. The kitchen area had a dining room, full size fridge and stove. The king bed was Fab! The porch was spacious and the barbecue was clean and everything worked as it should. had a washing machine with soap provided. We never once turned on the TV. We loved our stay and highly recommend Bushy Lake Chalets. thanks Mel and Rob!
