The overall site is very cosy and feels quite intimate - in a good way! The cabins are built on a small hillside along the banks of Margaret River and the location is an absolute delight. If you've got the constitution, the walk to Margaret River town is approximately 15/20 minutes leisurely walk, with a bit of up hill, down hill ... helps build up the appetite for dinner. The walk back is downhill :) I would DEFINITELY stay here again and would highly recommend it.

This isn't a dislike, more of an improvement suggestion... more tables and chairs by the river bank would be ideal as it's a beautiful spot for a barbie and a few beers in the evening.

This resort is located right next to the Margaret River. Guests of the hotel can reach the river within 1 to 5 minutes on foot. There are no obstacles in the way, allowing for a direct stroll to the riverside. The entire hotel is extremely quiet, so quiet that all you can hear are the chirping of insects and birds. It's the perfect place for a vacation. Each room comes with a balcony. In the morning, sitting on the balcony, enjoying the sunshine, listening to the birdsong, and watching the occasional parrot come by to have breakfast is an incredibly enjoyable experience. If you, like me, enjoy sports, you can also take a walk along the Margaret River in the morning. It's truly a comfortable experience. I highly recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at Riverview Tourist Park and had a fantastic experience! The park’s location is unbeatable—nestled right by the river, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. Whether you’re looking to relax or explore, this place has something for everyone. The cabins were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a cozy stay. I appreciated the thoughtful touches like the kitchenette and outdoor seating area, perfect for enjoying the surrounding nature. The grounds were well-maintained, with plenty of space for families, couples, or solo travelers to unwind. One of the highlights was the easy access to the river. It’s ideal for kayaking, fishing, or just enjoying a stroll along the water. Plus, the park is conveniently located near local attractions, so it was easy to explore the area without spending too much time driving. The staff were friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any questions or recommendations. Their dedication to providing a welcoming environment really made our stay memorable. I would highly recommend Riverview Tourist Park to anyone looking for a serene getaway with beautiful surroundings and excellent amenities. I’ll definitely be coming back! It was so close to where our friends live in Riverview Heights, beautiful location and gardens. Lovely staff in Office. Very clean too.

Liked everything just found window locks a bit difficult to lock with keys. Flyscreen sliding door to outside seating area did tend to pop off its track. Although range hood was switched on when we arrived, the apartment did smell like cooking fumes (garlic and oily smell) but not too bad.

The cabin we were allocated was a good size and had a good layout with good facilities and was situated close to the river. The cabin was very comfortsble, quiet and relaxing and lovely to come back to after a day out touring around the Geographe Bay area. There are some lovely walks down by the river too with easy access from the park. The park location is also very convenient to Margaret River Town centre with it's choice of good places to eat and drink. Overall we enjoyed are stay at the Riverview Tourist Park and would definitely stay there again.

We had a very spacious cabin with everything needed for cooking. Great access to walking/running trails. The caravan park was quiet and everyone was respectful of each other.

Cabins could do with an update: external painting and proper curtains at least in the bedrooms. Antenna on the tv didn’t work but we were able to access Netflix etc. so didn’t bother us too much. Expensive for what it was but understand the inflated price over Xmas. Besides the river nothing else for kids to do.

The cabin was very cosy and comfortable for a nights stay. It was a short drive into the town. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed so we could make our own meals, which is very helpful when travelling on a budget. We particularly liked the recliner lounge so we could read and watch TV with our feet up! Whilst the cabin is starting to get a bit old and dated, this did not detract from its comfort and we would happily stay here again.

The chalet was super clean and it had everything you needed. The shower was lovely, the beds were comfortable. The proximity to the river/bush was divine, the bbq area was clean and had everything you needed. The little touches like the herb garden near the bbq and scourer basket etc were fantastic.

My one and only fault was that the bed in the main bedroom was right under the window and on a cold night the freezing cold from the window radiated onto me. The bed should be moved with its head away from under the window.

Exactly as described, the photographs provided for advertising were up-to-date and accurate. Our chalet was spotless and so immaculately clean. Whilst the website encourages an internet-free vacation and suggests that park wifi will be upgraded in the future, we found we had optimal wifi coverage. The female staff member in the office was incredibly friendly and approachable upon arrival and departure, and we found the property and site had a very homely and welcoming feel. We were recommended the park based on friends that have stayed before and we loved it.

The park was quiet with well maintained grassed areas and close to the river which was great for walks along the paths. The tourist park is situated very conveniently to the town centre of Margaret River and the local eateries etc. The cabin was clean and and comfortable, the shower worked a treat and the kitchen area had everything you need., so overall it was a very enjoyable stay and we will stay here again in the future.

The cabin seemed a little dated and the colour scheme a little drab. A fresh coat of paint in a lighter colour would have made it feel newer and fresher. The bathroom could do with a bit of an upgrade too but everything worked well. The outside of the cabin was nice with the little decked area to sit out on at the end of the day with a glass of wine.
