I love to check in with the lovely Libby at reception who is always so helpful , friendly and so kind and accomodating 😊 They also have the best cleaners and the rooms are always absolutely spotless !!! Every time ! Proximity to the Main Street and shops is perfect ! Restaurants and supermarkets close by ! Parking outside room is so convenient . Surrounding area of property with trees is beautiful ! I could go on and on , but all I can say is that I've stayed there sooooo many times and wouldn't stay anywhere else ! Best value for money in all of my W.A travels ! So appreciative ! Thank you 🙏

There is no power point to charge phone in bedroom and the freezer doesn't work in the fridge ! No big deal !! Don't care 😆

Everything was lovely although there was a lot of 'hidden' noise continually as in scratching, scraping noises etc, and then on Wednesday evening, there was a band/singer. Although none of the songs was exceptionally loud, the noise of the band together with the singer had an overall volume that made the idea of sleep impossible. I was in room 1 and my friend in Room 2, and if you don't need to sleep before 11pm, no problem. In fact, if you don't want to do anything at all, TV etc, then it's also ok. You can't hear the TV over the downstairs entertainment.

We were delighted with our accommodation. It was spacious, clean and better than anticipated. The surrounding gardens were lovely and well maintained giving it a relaxed resort feeling.

We were quite shocked to find this is a live music venue which was extremely loud for our first 2 nights until 10pm. On review, this is disclosed on the property description, but right down the bottom of 2 long paragraphs and we missed it. We feel this should be disclosed much higher up so people have a better chance of actually seeing it. We felt its incompatible to have such lovely accommodation in a live music venue.

Great value for location and space. Great amenities. This was a great base to explore the Margaret River region. The main road in Margaret River was within walking distance so it was very easy to head to dinner, but if you wanted something even easier, the restaurant at the accommodation was also quite good with a well stocked bar. Plenty of parking. The rooms had heaps of space.

The kitchens were randomly equipped. We knew because we had friends stay in their own rooms at the same location and each room had a different number of pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. The lighting in the rooms was also quite dim.

We loved the wooden furnishings and finishes. Made it feel very cozy. The internet reception was great, far better than anywhere else we've ever stayed. The spa bath is Huge and great for relaxing. Very spacious apartment and surrounded by lots of beautiful greenery. The aircon did great as well, and we barely heard any noise from neighbours, so it felt like a lil cottage in the woods. Also greeted by a lovely receptionist, and was the quickest check in ever experienced too.

Just the teatowels left little bits of fabric when drying, which made them look dirty so we also had to wipe them down with paper towels. This was a super minor thing. But we left before 9am so didn't end up speaking with staff.

Rooms spotless and warm and tea and coffee great also plenty of towels and bed really comfortable would definitely stay here again.

The room was very large spacious and very comfortable.

No warm swimming pool to enjoy. It was cold and uninviting. The place could do with an all weather indoor/outdoor pool area. We would have preferred decent size mugs than the little cups that were supplied, especially when we have our morning coffee. Also enough milk for the 2 night we stayed. We only had one little carton of milk and the M R Resort changed $2 for another carton. We paid for 2 nights, so in my mind, 2 cartons of milk should have been included without having to ask for entra.

The hotel was in the centre of town, so it was a good starting point for our little day trips around Margaret River. We had never been before so it felt like the best choice. I also like that the day we arrived on a Sunday there was live music, lots of outdoor seating and a warm vibe.

The rooms could do with a little refresh and the bathrooms a better clean, but the bed linen was perfectly clean. I also didnt like that the wifi strength would not allow us to watch Netflix.

Overall it was a lovely place, beds weren't too bad. Clean and tidy place with all self contained facilities to help make it that little bit more homely. Was pleased we could check in 2 hours earlier than usual time as we arrived earlier than expected.

Poor internet reception, so TV channels such as Netflix kept struggling to stream movies in the bedroom, the TV out in the lounge area worked better but still had some struggle every now and again. Lounge suite isn't the most comfortable. To watch movies in bed we watched them on our phone device instead using our own internet. Not ideal but at least streaming was uninterrupted and we could at least be more comfortable in bed to watch them.

The room was huge for a hotel as was the bathroom which included a separate bath. The property had lots of “old style charm” with timber throughout and older style furniture which complimented the resort. Car parking directly out front which is shared with the restaurant/bar alongside/underneath the property. Great value.

This property has its quirks that are made clear when booking so if you are paying attention they shouldn’t come as a surprise but they won’t be for everyone. Reception has limited hours but check in after these hours is simple. Some rooms (mine in this case) was above the restaurant/pub so noise & music should be expected. Late check out wasn’t available on my stay.
