Great value for location and space. Great amenities. This was a great base to explore the Margaret River region. The main road in Margaret River was within walking distance so it was very easy to head to dinner, but if you wanted something even easier, the restaurant at the accommodation was also quite good with a well stocked bar. Plenty of parking. The rooms had heaps of space.

The kitchens were randomly equipped. We knew because we had friends stay in their own rooms at the same location and each room had a different number of pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. The lighting in the rooms was also quite dim.

We loved the wooden furnishings and finishes. Made it feel very cozy. The internet reception was great, far better than anywhere else we've ever stayed. The spa bath is Huge and great for relaxing. Very spacious apartment and surrounded by lots of beautiful greenery. The aircon did great as well, and we barely heard any noise from neighbours, so it felt like a lil cottage in the woods. Also greeted by a lovely receptionist, and was the quickest check in ever experienced too.

Just the teatowels left little bits of fabric when drying, which made them look dirty so we also had to wipe them down with paper towels. This was a super minor thing. But we left before 9am so didn't end up speaking with staff.

Rooms spotless and warm and tea and coffee great also plenty of towels and bed really comfortable would definitely stay here again.

The room was very large spacious and very comfortable.

No warm swimming pool to enjoy. It was cold and uninviting. The place could do with an all weather indoor/outdoor pool area. We would have preferred decent size mugs than the little cups that were supplied, especially when we have our morning coffee. Also enough milk for the 2 night we stayed. We only had one little carton of milk and the M R Resort changed $2 for another carton. We paid for 2 nights, so in my mind, 2 cartons of milk should have been included without having to ask for entra.

The property itself was amazing! It felt so homely, cosy and super private! I wish we could have stayed longer but we will be back 😊

There wasn’t much not to like, it was super clean and well maintained but the only thing that left a sour taste in our mouth was the lady at reception. We were hardly greeted with a hello, zero customer service and appeared to be to busy to be bothered explaining the Resort or area to us. It was the same when we checked out, we thanked her so much for having us and told her we loved our stay and she just looked away without saying anything as if she couldn’t care less. It’s not cheap staying here for the week so we found this extremely rude. Apart from that, the rest of the staff and bar staff where great! I think that lady needs a career shift as customer service does not suit her

The hotel was in the centre of town, so it was a good starting point for our little day trips around Margaret River. We had never been before so it felt like the best choice. I also like that the day we arrived on a Sunday there was live music, lots of outdoor seating and a warm vibe.

The rooms could do with a little refresh and the bathrooms a better clean, but the bed linen was perfectly clean. I also didnt like that the wifi strength would not allow us to watch Netflix.

Overall it was a lovely place, beds weren't too bad. Clean and tidy place with all self contained facilities to help make it that little bit more homely. Was pleased we could check in 2 hours earlier than usual time as we arrived earlier than expected.

Poor internet reception, so TV channels such as Netflix kept struggling to stream movies in the bedroom, the TV out in the lounge area worked better but still had some struggle every now and again. Lounge suite isn't the most comfortable. To watch movies in bed we watched them on our phone device instead using our own internet. Not ideal but at least streaming was uninterrupted and we could at least be more comfortable in bed to watch them.

The room was huge for a hotel as was the bathroom which included a separate bath. The property had lots of “old style charm” with timber throughout and older style furniture which complimented the resort. Car parking directly out front which is shared with the restaurant/bar alongside/underneath the property. Great value.

This property has its quirks that are made clear when booking so if you are paying attention they shouldn’t come as a surprise but they won’t be for everyone. Reception has limited hours but check in after these hours is simple. Some rooms (mine in this case) was above the restaurant/pub so noise & music should be expected. Late check out wasn’t available on my stay.

A beautifully landscaped property with spacious bedrooms that was extremely clean and smelled fresh. A kettle and minifridge was available. Our room was located at the back of the property and the noise from the performing bands was unobtrusive, the road was very busy with noise starting early. The restaurant/Pub on site was of great help and the fish and steak were great and the staff were very helpful though with a bar like that I couldn't believe no cocktails. A nod to anxiety pets in the future would be great. Everything we requested was available in our room and all our blankets were fresh. Thank you for having us.

Beautiful place with good sized hotel rooms so we were surprised at the shower size no room to even shave my legs without hitting my head on the walls and I had to turn in a circle to wash. The bedrooms are spacious but both beds were too hard, we took our own bedding as usual but slept on top of the ready made beds and they were still hard.

Location perfect to attend MRRW at Heart. Bar and restaurant so convenient in the evenings. Bed comfy. Convenient walk to town. Room quiet despite bands and socialising 100m away.

I'm afraid the height of the spa to climb over to get in the shower was a negative. Though there's a handrail, I was in fear of slipping. My husband and I though both fit and agile seniors found the going tough. Rooms aren't maintained each day, which I don't mind, but the cost for a room should be less if we're doing it ourselves. A rack should be provided to enable drying towels outside the bathroom.
