On each of our four days, host Stephanie prepared a different two-course breakfast. All were gourmet-quality, and all were delicious. The elegant Victorian-era home had its authentic charm, but with modernized plumbing facilities and air conditioning. The bedrooms were large and comfortable, and the communal areas were quiet and inviting. The inn feels secluded, but the attractions of the town are easily reachable. Finally, the showers in each of our bedrooms were a far cry from those cramped little things we’ve always found in Europe. These were large, walk-in showers with support bars on two sides, and the fixtures were brand new.
The stairway to the second floor where the bedrooms are is narrow and steep. It wouldn’t be suitable for guests with significant mobility issues, but my traveling companion (M, 76) and I (M, 78) were able to navigate them easily enough.

Stephanie, the owner, takes great effort to settle you into the house upon arrival and shares the history of the home and the families who lived there. The house has a wonderful screened-in porch to use for enjoying the country setting. Close to Menomonie downtown w nice walking path nearby. Appreciated that Stephanie prepared breakfasts that fit w my lactose intolerance and were tasty. The rooms are nicely decorated with period furniture.
We had a bit of a communication problem when we were first checking in.

Stephanie did such a wonderful job sharing the rich history of Menominee and keeps a beautiful inn! This was our first bed and breakfast as we were in town for my brothers college graduation. Amazing breakfast! Awesome home feel and nice room with private attached bathroom. Cozy living spaces decorated for Christmas to spend time in! We had late night hot chocolate and played a game in the den area and it was so charming.
Nothing! Amazing stay.

I can’t think of any major complaints. She was very busy and helped served me when I did needed her.

The property is beautiful - so well kept. Everything looks and smells great! Stephanie is a top tier hostess! She made us feel at home the moment we arrived. We were driving home from a wedding out east and only stayed one night here - but we will definitely be back and look forward to spending more time here! Great place to unwind, relax and enjoy amazing breakfasts!
Can’t recommend this place enough!

Stephanie was a great hostess! She is very knowledgeable about the history of the house and has done a beautiful job renovating it. She made us Dutch Baby pancakes and a yummy Berry Yogurt Parfait for breakfast. We will take some extra time to enjoy the beautiful screened-in wrap-around porch early in the morning next time.

Beautifully restored home, with great attention to detail and local history. Stephanie was very welcoming and full of knowledge about the home. Room/bed was very comfortable and breakfast was delicious!
A little outside of town, located in a tech park, but that’s part of the house’s history.
