The hotel is just so beautiful. The room is so spacious and beautifully appointed as well as a gorgeous large balcony where we enjoyed a leisurely wine while watching the parrots come visit in the trees. The kitchenette with coffee, tea and breakfast provisions is very thoughtful, especially for those of us who don't take dairy- there were many non dairy milk options (something that is very rare in other hotels). As there are only 5 rooms in the hotel, it feels very private and luxe, and the location is at the end of the gorgeous town within easy walking distance to cafes and shops. We came across this hotel by accident last year and loved it so much that we decided to make a special visit to come back again this year. Little did we know that so many renovations were to occur in the year that managed to make the hotel even better. Staying here was the perfect end to a lovely holiday

Rooms beautifully appointed. Had a feeling of luxury with the choice of bed , linen and bathroom products . Loved the communal guest kitchen with nespresso pods, loose teas , fresh fruit , juices . There were complimentary cereals too. The coffee voucher for 2 was also a nice touch for the morning when visiting the patisserie next door . Well done . Thankyou , our stay was wonderful

That the switches for lights glowed at night meaning room wasn’t completely dark

The Hotel had a small breakfast nook which provided for the aspect of a continental breakfast which was very handy and basically all we needed to start the day.

No I think the hotel did a wonderful job, from the meals to the attenuative staff, accommodation and the ease of parking, possibly could have had maybe another disabled spot in the end of the carpark nearer the accommodation, otherwise all good.

We love everything about this hotel. The dining and casual lounge areas are beautiful, the rooms are extremely comfortable and stylish and the food is great. Location is central to Adelaide Hills activities and close to Hahndorf but quieter.

We could hear the bass of the music from downstairs in our room. It wasn’t overly loud but it was noticeable. Also we couldn’t find any instructions for the steam room in our bathroom and it didn’t appear to be working.

Stunning rooms very clean and spacious Staff amazing loved Stirling village lots of nice places to eat. You can eat in the hotel although it was a little noisy you didn’t hear that in your room. Bathroom very luxurious

The hotel has been upgraded beautifully and the dining was delicious. Our room was gorgeous, the bed was big & very comfortable, the curtains blocked out the sun, a huge bathroom with spa and a separate kitchen with supplies for breakfast. The only negative was the carpet in our room needed a good steam clean as there was a slight damp wet smell. The hotel advised that the rooms were going to be totally refurbished in a couple of months, so this won't be an issue after the refurb. The rooms are beautiful as they are so it will be great to see how they update them.

Very nice to have a pantry with good facilities. The bed was very comfortable and we liked the furniture. We appreciated the very large bathroom. The housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful, especially when we asked for more lights. The location is ideal for the shops in town and we enjoyed our meal in the restaurant.

The lighting is totally inadequate: the bedside lamps have low wattage bulbs and black lampshades, so it is impossible to read in bed. The table lamp only had one working bulb instead of three, and even when we had a second table lamp, with two working bulbs, the room was still quite dark.

The Stirling Hotel was wonderful - great location, beautifully decorated, and the restaurant was excellent. All the staff, including the housekeeping staff, went out of their way to be helpful. The shared kitchen was such a great touch.

Unfortunately our original room had a leaky bath fitting, creating a dangerous puddle. We were moved to another room, which was absolutely lovely, but weren't able to stay there for our whole stay. It was a little inconvenient to have to move twice, but all the staff listened so nicely to our concerns and tried their best to make things right.

Location, ambience

Bright lights in the room coming from the control panels was very invasive. We had to block out the light to remove the distraction at night. Also light coming under the door was very bright.

I liked the kitchenette. The room was clean and tidy. There was a big bathroom in our room. It is close to where my daughter lives.

The pillows were too soft and we didn't think to try the ones in the cupboard.
