We loved our stay! The main area is fantastic -- lots of seating for late-night hot chocolate and games or early breakfasts before starting the day. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. We especially enjoyed Daniel, who is hilarious and lovely. The beds are really comfortable, and the boat is in a quiet location. We walked just about everywhere; Centraal Station is about 15-20 minutes by foot. I've wanted to stay on a houseboat in Amsterdam for years. Thanks to the crew of the Angeline for making my dream come true! This isn't a complaint, but do remember that this is a houseboat... the cabins will be tight. There were three of us sharing a room with a bunkbed and a twin. We enjoyed the adventure of it, and we all slept really well. Plenty of hot water, great lighting, comfortable temperature that you could adjust within the room. If you want a spacious room or something right in the center of the city, look elsewhere. But if you're up for the adventure and some moderate walking, this is a great spot!

The location was as central as one can get. Walking (we never used any other mean to move around apart from a boat tour) distance to all the places in central Amsterdam; it was a 15 minutes walk from the station. The Hotelboat experience was really interesting; the space has what you need and is clean. The breakfast was excellent. The staff was very nice and really helpful.

The occasional guest that has drunk a bit to much and makes some noise while searching for the room is probable. Not really the hotel’s fault but given that it is a small place you might ear some noise (still you get a further story/memory to take with you).

It's so cosy, clean, well located and everyone was super nice. The room had a controllable heater (and AC for the summer), a little wardrobe, a clean bathroom and a comfortable bed. Very scenic walk from Amsterdam Centraal (it's very much by Nemo). There was a large communal area at the top, with coffee & tea, it felt quite welcoming. In the morning I was surprised to see the gorgeous breakfast room and a very complete breakfast buffet (with your preferred choice of eggs!). I was there only for one night due to location, but would definitely would recommend it for people on holiday for a couple days as well.

None for me, but a warning if you have any mobility issues: this is really a boat, there is a narrow ramp to get in and a steep staircase to get to the rooms.

Breakfast was delicious in the comfortable, beautiful upper deck of the boat. Staff was very nice, friendly, tolerant and helpful. The location is superb in the center of town, but away from the crowds. Free cookies and coffee/tee all day. Many books and games available. Perfect for families. Lots of nice people on the boat

The accommodation in the lower deck was a bit small, as can be expected from seaman's cabins. My family went out strolling and biking, so they did not notice, but I had to stay home and rest because of a medical condition. But again, the common rooms on the upper deck were all wonderful and spacey

I made the best decision by booking a room in Hotelboat Angeline. Exceptional service. Me and my friends were warmly welcomed by the caption on board (our host) and his crew and were pleasantly surprised to hear that our room is ready even earlier than check-in time, also supported in bringing our suitcases there. The room was cozy, warm and clean and the breakfast in the morning was beautifully served, a variety for all tastes and delicious! There is always someone around to assist if you have a question and even joke and laugh together. We were welcomed to use the bar and make our own coffees, take a free cookie and enjoy the atmosphere! Last but not least, the location is perfect, around 15 min walk from the train station and easy to reach from the center.

Not that I didn't like it, just a heads up to be sure somebody on staff knows when you plan on coming around if you don't have keys!

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Angeline! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The breakfast was delicious, and having access to a bar where we could make tea and coffee anytime was a nice touch. The entire place was spotless, and staying on a boat hotel was a unique and wonderful experience. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the city center, which made it easy for us to explore Amsterdam by foot. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city!

The rooms were a bit small, but that’s to be expected for a boat hotel. Despite the size, they were cozy and well-maintained, adding to the charm of the overall experience.

Very friendly staff are always willing to help. Superb breakfast choices, free sweeties on the bar, and an honesty bar with very reasonable prices. The location was excellent for us, in the centre of the city but at the same time very quiet. We never heard any noise and slept really well. The cabins are compact with plenty of storage space, but we were only getting ready for going out and sleeping in them, so plenty big enough for the 2 of us. 100% recommend using the Hotelboat Angeline.

The hotel is located very close to the NEMO and to the Central Station. Everything is 10 or 15mins away walking which is awesome. The hotel has a mini bar at the lobby with great prices and free tea, coffee, and cookies 24/7. The breakfast was GREAT with a great variety of bread, oats, fruit, meat, and dutch cheeses. All crew was super friendly, fun, and always there to help! Will definitely stay here again when I go back

From the incredibly friendly staff to the beautifully designed boat interior with all the living essentials and a delicious rich breakfast, staying here is a must - both for adventure and comfort! Located 15 min. walking from the central station and the city centre, the accommodation is a great base for exploration. The three-bed room is well furnished and very comfortable. We enjoyed complimentary warm drinks in the cozy front side of the boat throughout the day. Very grateful to Daniel, Dylan and Boris for the hospitality and kind service!
