We stayed here during the Fête le Vin (Wine Festival). The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect - central to wherever you want to venture to in the City (whether cultural sites, shops or great restaurants) with easy access to the Quais for the wine tasting. We stayed in a beautiful room with high ceilings and air conditioning that actually worked (a Godsend in the middle of a heatwave!) in a separate building to the main hotel.

No fault of the hotel but unfortunately, I was sick during our stay. The staff on reception couldn't have been more helpful. Importantly, it didn't ruin our stay in Bordeaux and in fact, it made us like this hotel even more than we already did.

Only the location of the hotel, it is in the center, everything is within walking distance.

1. I asked to send a QR code for parking by email, no one answered the messages, we called once and asked to send the code, the code was not sent, the man at the reception does not speak English well, we called a second time, he said to come to the hotel and then he will give us the code, we had to park the car and pay for parking, drive into a narrow underground parking lot, after that he gave us the code and we had to leave again and drive back into the underground parking lot. 2. The photos of the rooms do not match the photos, the glass is broken, everything is old. 3. There was brown liquid in the toilet, was I supposed to flush it? We were shocked when we checked in, for this price we had such a room

Excellent hotel in a perfect location. Close to tram stop, taxi drop off points and the main high end shopping street. Simple rooms but very pleasant and had all that you needed. Staff very friendly and helpful. Coffee shop next door was also excellent.

Due to restrictions in the city, the air con wasn’t quite as effective as I would have liked on the 30+ degree days but was definitely better than not having it. Maybe a fan in the rooms as well would be good.

Wonderful little hotel in a perfect location in the pedestrian area of the city. Lift to all floors and nice "continental" breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful and spoke English when my French failed me. Breakfast was as expected and the hotel were happy to store our luggage until late in the evening.

Room was great but as expected for the price and the hotel, so the following would be expected. Bathroom was a little small, team and coffee making facilities were minimal, no ait conditioning (but large fan provided)

This hotel is tucked away in the corner of a small street, fairly isolated from major foot traffic but with the most central location in Place Gambetta. I was pleasantly surprised at our room, on the corner of the 2nd floor—it was surprisingly spacious and allowed us to fit three massive suitcases, two small ones, us, and our dog pretty comfortably. It's also air-conditioned, which, during a hot spell, is a must. I don't know why other reviews complain about the hotel having actual keys for the room—these traditional French keys and locks feel much more secure than a key card to me. Staff was great, and we couldn't ask for a better location.

The only thing I didn't like is that the AC shuts off every 180 minutes, which is fine for cost-saving measures (electricity is very expensive in France), but when you're sleeping, it means the room can start to get hot and you'll get up in the middle of the night to turn it back on. And while it's pet-friendly, they don't provide any amenities for your dog, unlike some hotels that do offer you bowls and a bed. Luckily, we had everything already with us but just keep that in mind if you're traveling with your pet.

The room and building were so beautiful and romantic looking. The room was huge with big window and shutters and a loft that had another bed with high ceilings. The location was central and near great sights and restaurants. Easy to get to tram too.

There was no lift up to the 2nd floor (3 flights of stairs) in the older wing my room was in and it would have been good to have notification of that.

The location was perfect, close to restaurants and bars. Exceptional value for money and the staff could not be more helpful and accommodating. It was easy to walk to the major tourist attractions, cathedrals and museums and shops. We love visiting Bordeaux and will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Nothing really, the hotel lived up to our expectations, it might have been nice if there was a small hotel bar so we could have a night cap.

Located in the city center, walking distance to the main attractions, good value for money.

But be careful with the parking! We have left our car for one night and somebody broke the window!!! We had to go to the police and weren’t able to continue our holiday trip due to the car damage so the holiday was completely ruined.

The hotel was in the old.patt of the town with a real quiet street and near some famous street in the old center of Bordequx. The bedroom was very good with a mezzanine and it was really a very old building with a strong and beautiful enovation. We arrived at 00:30pm and it was still possible to do the check-in. Thanks for that.

Really really good value for money! All the comforts (elevator, AC, etc) in the middle of old town. Helpful staff (manned reception until late).
