Spa and pools area is great but you may need to check, check in times . Rooms are traditional, we up graded to a nice size room with comfy bed and spacious bathroom. Breakfast wasn’t included and was quite pricey. Parking in the car park was easy .

The food was quite good but expensive. The phone in our room didn’t work, so if you needed anything you had to go to reception.

The spa was incredible, so many rooms and pools!!Lovely staff! Shout out to Olga in reception who was new but lovely and the girl and guy in the bar who provided exciting chat for us as there was no one else in it! Very clean. Bed was ultra comfy,spa bath with tv.

Apart from day spa and members there was very few people around and so there was absolutely no vibe in the spa or the bar. (Okay so it was just a boring Tuesday in April! ). My daughter and I resorted to chatting to bar staff. It’s lovely to have a spa almost to yourself but there is a fine line between exclusive, and awkwardness /nothingness. If I was the hotel owner I would reduce room rates, food and drink prices ( we went out to eat but a small wine and Diet Coke was £17) ,make treatment prices more realistic because last night must’ve been 90% empty. I can’t imagine any sort of profit is being made! Seem to concentrate on day members I guess. As mentioned some decor and items were a little dated. Weird noise in our room all night long - a/c? - someone else has mentioned this!

Friendliness and helpfulness of staff was top tier. Staff were very attentive and easy to speak to, in particular Tasha, Olga and Sakkain. From arrival I was treated with respect and professionalism. My luggage was taken to my room for me by Tasha which was nice after a long drive. On arrival to the room I did not think it suited my needs so contacted Tasha and asked for a room change. Tasha was on it immediately and came and offered me a free upgrade to a more suitable room. I have a disability and have issues with my mobility, I really wanted to go on the nature path however thought it would be difficult as there was a load of stairs and steep hill to get on it. Olga at reception was so lovely, she held my hands and help me down the stairs on the path and came back for me once I was finished. She even walked me to my room to make sure I was ok. I went to the hillier restaurant and had lunch, the food was ok but I did not fancy anything on the list so asked if I could have a mai tai, omg Sakkain was an angel and made me the best Mai tai I have ever had! It was so good asked him to make me another for my dinner and he did not disappoint! The dinner unfortunately was not the highlight of my stay, I have already given my feedback so will leave it there. The spa was amazing, my massage by a male therapist was so amazing and he was very attentive. The spa facilities was one of the best I've ever been to, the staff was very nice and helpful. The heated hydropool was heavenly! All the rooms with different scents was so refreshing and the relaxation room was lovely. Free fruits and flavoured water was the cherry on top..xx Overall very nice stay.

Dinner

Staff and facilities were very good. Spa well equipped, spacious and not too busy. Food quality good (although breakfast not value for money).

Looking tired in places. Dents in room door. Scratches on paint in common areas in accommodation block. Took nice but definitely not spacious enough to luxurious enough for the price. No doubt the hotel can get enough people to stay at these prices. Question is, should they be more concerned about value. Not sure their repeat business will be that strong. Enjoyed it, but not going back at that money. 25% over on my view.

dinner come out with cold sauce, by the time it had been heated up it had taken the enjoyment out of our meal.

The best part for us was the spa. Lots of different saunas/steam rooms and 2 great size pools inside and outside. We dined at Latymer their Michelin star restaurant. Great food. For us though, 3hrs for a 6 course tasting menu was just too long. We ended up skipping a course or 2. The food in my opinion should have come out more quickly. And we should have been out within 2 1/2 hrs max. So you don’t get to the point of asking how long it will be until the next course.

No minibar in the room. When you want a drink when getting ready, ordering it via an iPad, then waiting 30 mins wasn’t ideal. Secondly the bar prices were ridiculous, £50 for 2 large g&t’s seemed total overkill. That’s more expensive that Nobu, Zuma, Hakkasan etc without the same vibe. Great food in Latymer, but as mentioned, the timing wasn’t quite right on the 6 course tasting menu. So we ended up skipping courses

The grounds were absolutely beautiful and our bedroom was wonderful. Heated floor in the bathroom, enormous and very comfortable bed, a sofa to lounge on. We loved the little deer which acts as the do not disturb sign! The spa was just what we needed and we’ll definitely be back to use it again. I loved that the pool was full size where lots of spas have small, weirdly shaped pools.

I wasn’t as impressed with the dinner. We were still hungry by the time we finished and it was very expensive. And we’ve eaten at plenty of places where the meals are small and come away stuffed!

Almost everything. The accommodation and spa are brilliant, everything is just beautiful and relaxed. We enjoyed staying the next day and enjoying the spa before going back.

A bit disappointing not to be able to find a massage availability. Given the price tag I would consider just including the breakfast as part of the package.

Everything was amazing. The room (more like a suite) was out of this world. It had a beautiful spacious feel to it, combining an oldy-worldy charm with modern facilities. First-class food, comfortable bed, superb spa and health facilities. I felt utterly relaxed after two nights at this hotel. All the staff were helpful and friendly and highly professional. I noticed little things they did.

It was a little chilly in places! I think that is because it is a big place!
