We enjoyed the warm atmosphere with pleasant staff to greet us on arrival and in the breakfast room. Our bedroom was delightful with good lighting, very comfortable beds, good linen and a nice shower., overlooking the pretty, well tended gardens where we sat out late in the evening sun. The room was very clean, equipped with all that we might need, including iron and ironing board. We enjoyed a good breakfast of good quality; fruits, yoghurt as well as a good cooked breakfast. The hotel's public rooms are beautifully furnished. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Farnham to visit family.

Nothing at all

The hotel is a historic building with newer additions. The staff were excellent. Our room was the Superior accessible room and was well appointed and comfortable. The hotel has lovely grounds, although it is a town centre hotel.

The accessible room was situated a very long way from the reception and restaurants. In fact it was 240 steps from the room to the breakfast room and even further for reception so take that into account if you are booking for someone with limited mobility. I mentioned this to the receptionist who passed on my concerns and I had a very nice email from the manager but it didn’t change the facts.

Fantastic town centre location. Lovely bar and very comfortable rooms. It was incredibly hot when we stayed, but the room was beautifully cool due to the very efficient air- con. Didn’t eat breakfast but did have a sandwich from the lunch menu and a late night curry. Both very good.

Car parking a challenge when the hotel has an event. You pay for overnight parking on arrival and if you go out, there is no guarantee there will be space when you return even though you have paid. We were extremely lucky that a staff member was about to go off duty when we returned to the hotel and she freed a space up for us.

The Bush is a very nice hotel in the heart of Farnham. Whilst we did not make use of the facilities like the dining room, or gardens - I thought the rooms were nice and a good size. Staff were friendly and helpful - especially the breakfast staff. Location is great for getting around central Farnham with loads of restaurants and shops nearby.

My only niggle - it would have been helpful to know there was onsite parking instead of paying for it nearby. I couldn't find information on the website - it just said self. As it was a last minute Saturday booking I was unable to ring the hotel and enquire.

The hotel is a very traditional loved it. The restaurant and bar area was fabulous. Gardens and court yard wasbliss. The room was very clean bur basic. We arrived late at night and the gentleman took us to our room and was very helpful. I had alot of contact with telephone staff. Very professional and helpful. I booked via booking.com had a couple of scam mails asking for bank details. I didntsupply any thankfully. But staff apologised and I formed me of the details. I would recommend to anyone staying for a night weekend or week. Vert central to the village/then. Thank you

I feel the price wcould of been a little lower . We had a wedding at Farnham Castle and the prices were the same if we had added breakfast.

Again, congratulations for the service, the gorgeous architecture, the perfect location, the flawless amenities, the very tasty and well presented food, everything really... Definitely worth mentioning are the shifts working over Christmas invariably kind and friendly, smiling and very helpful!! A real pleasure to spend some time in the Bush Hotel! We'll definitely be back again soon!!

Ventilation in the bathroom is constant in the room we stayed in this time (which I definitely understand to have no moisture problems in those beautiful, old buildings) but it also was rather noisy.

Excellent location right in the town centre so was great for shopping and coffee shops. Lovely grounds with plenty of parking. Very friendly and welcoming staff. The reception area had an open fire with lovely comfortable chairs to sit and relax with a cup of tea and biscuits. Very clean well run hotel. Had everything in the room needed for a comfortable stay including extra bedding, heater and ironing facilities. Cosy bar that served alcohol, hot drinks and lovely biscuits and cakes from a local patisserie. I wish we had bought more of them. Excellent restaurant that served lovely meals also well run breakfast serving anything you wanted and really quick service. I would definitely go back!

The restaurant and bar areas were a little cold but to their credit there were open fires to sit next to. The rooms were a little on the small side but otherwise well equipped.

Our Room was on the ground floor which had a nice view of the Garden ... On entery to the Room we were very pleased with the outlay/standard of the Room .... Breakfast was excellant alomg with the service by the Staff ..... The Reception Staff were very Polite/Welcoming & went out of her way to help us.

1. Maybe have a Ramp at the Steps to the Entrance/Reception to help ease of access for suitcases. 2. The route from Reception to our Room was quite some distance (especially for the more Senior). 3. Found the corridors leading to our Romm very cold.

Love this hotel, so we'll placed you feel like you r in country due to surrounding and peace but at front of hotel u r in a chic little high street with great boutiques, restaurants and bars. For the Hotel, gluten free option has really increased. Since being a Ceoliac for 3yrs this was best Fish and chips I've had since y dietary change. Its was phonemal. Also waitress Cara was so supportive and always happy to serve, she made our evening. Breakfast next day was outstanding. Just love this place we r aiming to come back next summer. Thk u Bush hotel.

1 thing only Soda water in large bottle was flat. I asked for new bottle with my wine which was much better than my 1st drink. Thk u

Room was very clean and tidy , staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was very good if maybe a little pricey, the same with the bar, well stocked but a bit expensive.

The lighting in the rooms was not really adequate, even with all the lights on it was still a bit gloomy. The one major downfall is that for a hotel of that size there is no lift. If like us your room was on the top floor at the far end it is a route march. In fact after conversations with other guests some had only taken exactly what they needed to their room as it was too far to carry their whole bag.
