I liked everything! The accommodation is close to the city center (10 minutes to the Verona Arena), and it's located next to a river with a beautiful old bridge. The interior of the accommodation is excellent. The dining room has a special charm — it's stylishly decorated, offers a view of the fortress, and breakfast on the balcony provides a truly pleasant experience. The rooms are spacious and tastefully furnished. It’s a real pleasure to stay in such accommodation. Our host provided us with all the necessary information. One more important detail for us — a parking spot in the garage was secured.

We loved our stay at the apartment it was so convenient for the old town of Verona, just a short walk across a beautiful footbridge. It was perfect being in such a quiet beautiful position overlooking the river. Our room was very large with a dressing room and very large shower room. The electric outside blinds were amazing for keeping the room cool and dark. We enjoyed breakfast outside on the balcony both mornings of our stay, where we enjoyed the view and shade. Dario was very welcoming and was always happy to help with anything you needed. We even managed to go to an opera concert being performed in the arena, this seems to be a regular summer festival and an amazing way to see it.

We found nothing to dislike

Good location. The complimentary refreshments were rich (coffee,tea,beer,cola,biscuits,water...) . Room and bathroom is very large. Our host Dario is very helpful. He replied all questions about accomodation, city, parking etc.. Paid parking can be found on side streets. You should park blue lines and get ticket from the machine near the street. Otherwise you can ask Dario to reserve private parking which is a bit expensive: 24€ .

Breakfast can be better. For example, I prefer cheese in the breakfast, but I couldn't. Be careful because the shower cabin leaks a lot of water, it can cause flooding in the bathroom. But I'm sure Dario will fix it.

Perfect location, right at the entrance to the old town of Verona, with a view of the old bridge and the river. Dario is an excellent host who provided all the necessary information (what to visit, where to eat…), always available. The accommodation is very clean, spacious, and tidy. Breakfast is simple and fresh. Garage available at an extra charge. Accommodation highly recommended.

Great location at the end of the historic Ponte di Castelvecchio within walking distance of all old town Verona sights, restaurants, and public transport. Big comfortable bed and bathroom with nice big windows. Shades to keep Sun out on a hot afternoon, plus aircon. Home made breakfast. Nice change from hotel style buffet, and lovely setting without all the usual restaurant type noises. Easy access 24/7. Dario ( manager and one of the owners) excels in making you comfortable from the moment you meet him. Coming from Australia, we appreciated his ability to easily communicate in English, advising on sights to see and great little trattorias to eat.

Nothing of any significance. Our room faced the park and entrance to Ponte Castelvecchio - could be a little noisy on weekend nights, but not too late. Could close doors and windows and turn on aircon which made it much quieter.

Dario’s property is stylish, clean and very comfortable. It was ideal for us as a small family group. Location is beautiful, and very convenient to all that we wanted to do in Verona. Breakfast was delicious with loads of choice, and it was beautifully presented. Dario was a superb host. He prioritised the cleaning of our room on the day of our arrival, and allowed us to check in early so that we could maximise our time for sightseeing. He was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us great recommendations for things to do and see - and a delightful restaurant to have dinner - the best we had had in our 5 nights in Italy! All in all our one night in 3 Amici Al Castello was an excellent choice - we would highly recommend!

The view from the balcony towards the bridge and the Adige River was truly charming – the perfect spot for morning coffee or an evening moment of calm. The room was clean, tastefully furnished, and quiet. The staff was kind and helpful, and the breakfast was rich and fresh.

Everything was absolutely fine – the stay exceeded expectations.

All was really good. Large and comfortable room with a/c, excellent location...just across the historic bridge from the busy historic city center, but very quiet...facing the river and a green park... A bit unconventional being located on single floor of a residential building, but very comfortable. Dario makes up for unconventionality. Very supportive and helpful, makes one feel at home...and at a very nice home.

Excellent hotel! The room was spacious and comfortable with an incredible view of the Cestelvecchio and river. Dario the proprietor was extremely helpful in every way: serving breaskfast, recommending activities and restaurants and even helped us by ordering us a taxi on the last day. Would absolutely visit again, simply perfect!

Breakfast was simple and freshly prepared by Dario (our host). at the precise time we had requested the previous day on watsapp. He was there every morning to ensure we were comfortable and recommend the best sites and the best method of getting around Verona. He took a genuine interest on what we were planning for the day and made helpful suggestions. The two main rooms of the apartment were airy and spacious. The air conditioning was quiet and effective. The bathroom too was well-sized. Fresh bedding and towels were provided half-way through our short stay.

There are no points that we could honestly say we disliked. We were awakened by a pneumatic drill one morning but Dario apologised explaining the power company was doing an emergency repair outside so that was unavoidable!
