This hotel is a real gem: the building itself is an artwork, and the rooms are very classy. But it is the location that makes it a real winner - basically in the heart of the old town, you can easily access by foot all major landmarks, and it is 2 min walk from the Arena if you are in Verona for opera and shows. It doesn't have a restaurant for lunch or dinner, but across the street (meaning 3 meters from the entrance) there is a very good restaurant - very useful if you have tickets for an evening show. Breakfast was very good, with hot and cold options and a variety of local pastry.

Not the case.

We had a wonderful time in Verona and the hotel was superb, the location could not have been better. The beds were very comfy. The staff was excellent, very welcoming and helpful! The parking at the hotel was very handy to keep our rental car overnight.

The bathtub and a shower need upgrading to meet todays expectations from a superb hotel. The bathroom itself was very good and roomy, but the bathtub was narrow and the position of the shower on the wall was very awkward.

The hotel is ideally placed for the operas in the amphitheatre and for all the shops, bars, and restaurants in Verona. It is located just behind the main square, in which the amphitheatre stands. The decor gives the hotel an opulent feel from an earlier era. Our room had the main bedroom and bathroom with a dressing area in between; which we liked. In summary, we liked the location, the room, and the staff, who were very helpful.

We found the air conditioning a little weak, but it was adequate.

we loved everything about that hotel the moment we opened the front door. Location was just perfect, the room is comfy and clean. Most importantly the staff was amassing and friendly. Have to mention Dillan on reception and of course the owner mister Paparini, he was so welcoming and friendly to us... it was an honor to meet that gentlemen,

Majority of the staff were lovely, room decor and bathroom were 100%, location literally could not be better for the sights of Verona.

Breakfast was mediocre given the star rating, only one morning of our stay was there properly fresh bread and really lacked some decent tomato’s and mozzarella. Lack of Air Con in the rooms also needs to be mentioned, yes we knew about it before but even in a fairly cool April week, we had to sleep with the window open most nights and the street noise is as you would expect for a city centre.

The hotel is ideally located to reach all local restaurants and sites and 20 mins or so from the airport. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous. We had a room with a balcony at the front of the hotel - even though outside was vibrant, once the windows were shut it was relaxingly silent.

There was nothing not to like

Amazing hotel in a perfect location right in the centre and 1-2 mins walk from the Arena di Verona. The historical building has been build almost 600 years ago as a Monastery. Looks like a palace inside and still holds this peaceful and beautiful energy. Very quiet, high ceilings, spacious room with a dressing room and a desk, nice bathroom. Breakfast until 11am which helps. Very professional and friendly staff. Will definitely stay again. So glad I’ve chosen this hotel😊

We liked the old-world charm of the hotel. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was varied and good. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and looked out onto what we thought would be a quiet street. It was actually very noisy nights and mornings, with people dropping their glass and other recycling in the wee hours - Also had an electrical circuit issue - for some reason the fuse tripped in the middle of the night so our devices were not charged in the morning.

Location is absolutely perfect- 5 minutes to Arena, 5 minutes to shopping, 2 minutes to caffès, at the same time the street is quiet and cozy. The room was super - spacious, with separate walk-in closet, the bed for one person is bigger than usually in Italy. Good breakfast. Friendly and helpful personnel. Definitely the best place if you want to visit Arena.

The staff was very friendly, professional, helpful and proactive. The atmosphere was relaxed. The room was clean and comfortable. At breakfast I had the opportunity to chose among different products inspire being lactose intolerant.
