I've stayed at this location many years ago and always found it great. Booked 2 rooms for elderly relatives travelling with me. We had major problems with the Ferry sailings after a cancellation and not going to make it by 5pm as originally planned. They arranged to leave keys in the rooms, milk in the fridges, and lights on for when we arrived. They also let us have a late check out in advance and went out of their way to accommodate us. Beds were fantastic and great sleeps after the late arrival

First of all, thank you for the lovely receptionist who was very helpful and made our stay more enjoyable. The studio we had is huge and fits a family easily. There is room to move around and to have our belongings stored properly. It is very central and within a short walk to the stream. Plenty of carpark and easy reach.

I didn't cook but the warning about the smoke would worry me. There is no range hood so I guess it could happen very easily. The bathroom and toilet doors are not lockable.

The room was clean and neat and felt cosy the minute I entered. I was offered fresh milk by the owner, which was a pleasant gesture, and nothing was a problem for them. They helped me out with directions to wineries, restaurants, and other places I wanted to go. When I had a mishap with the rental car, they stepped in and helped me no end. The location is fabulous, the room is well fitted with everything you need. It was perfect.

In a convenient position for town - could walk to the supermarket and eateries. Had a pretty outlook over Seymour Square. Nice big lounge with comfortable chairs and a nice big dining table. Wonderful to have a bath as well as a shower. Bedroom lovely and spacious and wonderfully comfortable bed with super bedding. Loved the gorgeous towels. Friendly owner and staff. Very convenient parking.

Perfect location. The room was exceptionally clean.. The room was well equipped. In the lounge the sofa was very comfy. The kitchen was very well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. The outside furniture was a real bonus. It was nice to be served fresh milk. The proprietor was amazing. So helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Went above and beyond. Excellent.

Friendly and polite staff, great location close to the town centre and the room was spacious, clean and well equipped.

The light comes from a large front window and patio door, which makes the room really bridge and airy. But there is only a curtain and no net, so has to close the curtain quite early in the evening for privacy. So the addition of a curtain would be useful, but other than that, it was great.

Had to pay by cash because of ridiculous credit card surcharge - even on a debit card which was accepted elsewhere in New Zealand without this surcharge. Ground floor location with full height windows and no privacy unless curtains drawn. Basic level of equipment. Good location for centre of Blenheim but we found Blenheim to be dead. Very disappointing. This may not be the fault of Lugano Motor Lodge but we would not stay there again nor could we recommend it.

Great location, within walking distance to cafes and restaurants, river and park walks. Very quiet at night. Very clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful, even doing a small load of washing for us for a minimal charge - much more convenient than the local laundromat.

I prefer a softer bed, but still slept fairly well.

Our room was very comfortable with a nice little balcony which all rooms did not have. Bed comfy and warm, and aircon if you needed it. Parking good. Staff very helpful. Located close to town where lots of nice bars and restaurants.

Wifi had just been updated, but was not working during our stay.

The location was great, nice and close to every where. The owner Mary was absolutely fantastic to deal with, nothing was too much trouble.

Parts of the facilities were a bit dated and things are showing their age, however the owners have not been there long and are refurbishing
