The location was fantastic to where we needed to be in Marquette. I choose this hotel for the chance to relax by the pool but our time here was too short to be able to fit it in our busy schedule. Easy to get into our rooms.

I booked us as a family with small children (1.5yr and 4.5yr) they get messy during the day and a nice bath at the end of the night to clean and relax them is routine, however our bathtub lacked the drain stopper to hold water. Those pieces are relatively cheap and an easy fix. We had to stuff the drain with a wash cloth wrapped in a walmart bag and both kids kept pulling it out.

Although staff did not get our full request for a room with direct access to parking, they worked with us and got us a room in their old section that was near a door and worked well for our needs. The breakfast choices were modest but adequate and the scrambled eggs were done perfectly. This is a reasonably priced one night stay on a long travel and was our 4th stay. We will use this place in future travel in this region. Nice location to a variety of restaurants and stores.

Booking's communication about room needs was faulty. Another time we will book directly with the motel rather than going trough Booking.

It’s a super neat retro motel! The pool area is enclosed with rooms overlooking it, so it was nice to be inside still to get to the pool. The staff was competent and super nice! They ladies checking is in made it quick and easy. One of the ladies was there again in the morning and had a nice little breakfast set up. The coffee was good. And the guy working at night gave us a wake up call because I forgot my alarm clock. Everything was super clean and the spa was nice and hot!! We will definitely book again!! The pictures on google aren’t as nice as the pictures on booking.com

One bed was a little lumpy but the other was nice!

I love this property. It's a cool, classic, wood constructed motel in the old road style but expanded. Walkways along rooms are enclosed, a well handcrafted addition. Despite age and hodgepodge construction, it's clean, comfortable, and homey. There's a pool and sauna, but I didn't use them.

The style might not be everyone's cup of tea. Soundproofing is poor. Also there's a more modern motel style building adjacent; I don't know what determines if you get a room there or in the classic part.

It had the basic needs, a bed, shower, heat, fridge, the bed was comfy even though it was small and bathroom was small too. My daughter got sick and I changed the sheets and they're very accommodating. The pool looked nice, but we never had a chance to use it. Breakfast was decent

The bed was small for 2 people, and the bathroom was small, I don't think larger people would fit in it. The walls had smudge marks

Good location. close drive to downtown. wonderful staff. having the mini convenience snacks and drinks to buy by just adding to the room tab was AMAZING. The pool area was cute and hot tub was a nice temperature. I wish I would have used the sauna too! The room was spacious. The corny slogan on the outside sign made me smile.

I would have liked to have more fruit options other than just oranges. They also don't really restock it seems, so when things are gone, they are gone. The AC unit in our room either worked to where it was really cold in the room or if you tried to turn it down a bit, the room got hot.

I like that there was separation between the elements and the room. For us I'm real glad the room was on the first floor. Due to time constraints was unable to take advantage of the many amenities.

I didn't like that the TV was so dark that you could hardly make out what was happening with the people and there was no way to make the adjustment to make it lighter Don't know if the bulbs were going or the motherboard but something was seriously wrong with that TV. The breakfast was pretty limited and mostly carbs which for that price is okay I just don't eat muffins and coffee was good..

Great location, lots of stores & restaurants close by. Nice, appealing rustic up north lodge atmosphere. Absolutely beautiful change of seasons right outside the door.

Very basic breakfast, but good 24/7 coffee. Bathroom very small & shower even smaller, accordion shower door unable to fully close. Unfortunately, our room was adjacent to a moderately loud ice machine.

I loved the vintage charm. Only interacted with one staff member. Younger girl at the front desk and she was zipping around the entire building working her butt off. She was pleasant and funny. Great customer service.

We liked everything except the lack of breakfast food, but they French toast sticks were really good!!!

Breakfast was good but needed to have a protein choice, eggs or sausage or some kind of meat. We did grab a french toast stick or two to satisfy us until the next meal.

Could have used some chairs to sit out front of our room while we relaxed in the evening. Overall, it was great!
