Modern and more like 4 star than 3. Sent a car to pick us up at train station, great breakfast with a mountain lake view. Down comforters and pillow menu! Coffee maker in room.

The receptionist Katharina, she was like a ball of sunshine! Thank you for welcoming us to St. Moritz! The view from our bedroom and even breakfast was amazing! Such a pretty location. Also our room itself was very spacious for 4 people. We didn't feel cramped staying together! Breakfast was also yummy. Nothing to complain about this hotel.

Everything was good! Just remember that most hotels in Switzerland won't have a strong AC, so prepare to open a door or window for some ventilation! Also if you are going to be going to the hotel on foot from a train station... Good luck. The hotel is located in a hilly part so you'll have to drag your suitcases going up! If you have a car, then this is a non-issue. Just be aware of this! I recommend having a car or taxi bring you to and from the hotel.

Good location, close to the train station and easy access to the lakeside. Still provide pick-up service from the train station especially it was raining when we arrived. Beautiful lake view from the restaurant, but seats next to windows are always booked even for the breakfast.

When checking-out, we received 2 bills charged from the restaurant that one is already paid and another is not our consumption at all. However, the service provided in the restaurant is good and friendly comparing with quite basic process provided from the receptionists.

In general the hotel was excellent. The room (lake view) was of a good size for a European hotel, and nicely finished. Excellent location with easy walking access to the train station or a shuttle for those with a lot of luggage or mobility issues, outstanding lake views. The restaurant staff were very pleasant. Breakfast buffet was varied and large and great value. The evening buffet dinner was good, not outstanding but good value for St. Moritz. A 5 star view from the dining room. They provided a transport card for the entirety of our stay providing free mountain and local transport. This saved us a considerable sum since mountain transport in Switzerland is very expensive. Overall excellent value for a nice mid range hotel in St. Moritz, and deserves more than a 3 star rating, 4 would be more appropriate,

First experience in years of traveling the European landscape, and breakfast was fantastic, and included. Other experiences have guests pay specifically for breakfast at a high cost, and optional. Unfortunately, we did not know this until our first morning, and visited every day afterwards. While the general staff was limited, most of our experience was with the restaurant staff. We never skipped a dinner service with folks like Jelly, whose real name is apparently too difficult to say. By far, the restaurant was the best we have experienced in Europe, and worth every meal during our stay. Also, the location was perfect for walking downtown and for catching a train or bus.

If it were not for two small inconveniences, our rating would have been perfect. The rooms were a little stuffy for a good nights rest, and only certain rooms had a bathtub available. Our visit had some long walks and hikes up the hill, and a cooler room with a tub would have been perfect.

The breakfast and dinner were the best of our trip! The dining room had commanding views across the lake in a lovely peaceful location with direct access down to the lake. Rooms with lake view had stupendous views also. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly and accommodating.

On arrival there was a cigar stub in the ashtray on our patio and a pair of someone’s shoe insoles on a high shelf in the room. Disappointed that the hotel shuttle wouldn’t meet us from the train station off the Glacier Express which arrived at 5.50pm. I had enquired about this well in advance and was told it stops at 5pm.

The hotel is on the lake just a short walk from the train station. There is a fabulous walking path just out the door that you can use to walk around the lake or up into the surrounding mountain area. The hotel provided a day pack and binoculars for us to use on our hikes during our stay. We enjoyed trying different whiskeys at the hotel bar in the evening where they provided complimentary chocolate slabs to enjoy with our drinks. We enjoyed the old-world charm of the hotel and found our room to be clean and spacious with a comfortable bed and living area and a great view of the lake.

We were there off-season (mid/late May) so not everything at/around the hotel or in town was open. We had to walk approximately 25 minutes to town for dinner if we did not eat at the hotel, which ended up working out for us but could have been uncomfortable if it had rained.

Very close to the train station although uphill on uneven roads when dragging a suitcase! Lovely location on edge of lake with great views. Very friendly and helpful staff (front desk, bar and restaurant). I stayed one night arriving late afternoon and leaving earlyish in the morning but they managed to get some laundry done for me (so grateful, thank you!) Room was indeed very small (as stated in the description) but I spent little time in it and was perfectly adequate for my needs, and great value. Comfy enough bed, suitcase slid under it when opened! Lovely modern bathroom. Decent breakfast. Would happily return and have been telling friends that like whiskey to visit!

A hotel where it was possible to talk to a human being if there was a problem, or information was needed - how refreshing against many of the other places I stayed where everything was done remotely. Reception was welcoming and helpful and when the desk lamp in the room failed a call to reception produced a new lamp in minutes. Pleasant (though quite small) room with all the facilities needed and a superb view over the lake from the window. Outstandingly good breakfast (included in the rate).

Nothing. The walk up the steep hill from the station was a bind but the reward was the views over the lake and town.

Fantastic location close to train station with great views across the lake. Our room was upgraded to an apartment/suite with views across the lake and so was very spacious and a really comfortable stay. It was my wife’s birthday during our stay and we had a great table for dinner with birthday table decorations. Dinner service and food were excellent.

However, the breakfast service during our three days was somewhat disappointing. The hotel restaurant is huge with many large windows overlooking the lake but all the window tables are ‘allocated’ to the residents staying for 7 nights on a half board deal. On our three days, many of those tables went unused meaning many residents were denied one of the best features of the hotel. Also, at the beginning of breakfast (7.30 to 11), there is a really impressive buffet selection but if you leave it until after 9, very little is left and if you ask for replenishing the bacon, it is a shrug and a no. The only staff who weren’t friendly or helpful were the very few breakfast waiting staff. We felt very much second rate compared to the guests staying a full week!
