We were attending a wedding at Rowton Castle and looked for accommodation close by and found this lovely B & B. It is in a lovely location with scenic views and very peaceful. Greg checked us in, and the process was easy and stress free. He told us about the house and a little bit of the history and was actually interested in why we were in the area. We met Dawn at breakfast, and nothing was too much trouble ! They both ensured to say hello and ask how our evening was, which made us feel incredibly welcome and comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely gorgeous. I requested less than the full english, which was on offer, and it was no problem. Perfectly fried egg with runny yolk, bacon cooked to perfection to the point i wanted to ask for a tray to take home in the car ! There were also cereals on offer and a choice of tea, coffee, and fruit juice, which is perfect. If we are ever in the area again, then this will be our go-to place to stay. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

What can I say, what a superb stay! A beautiful building, a comfortable room, and absolutely exceptional service from the most wonderful people. I was there on business, and cannot wait to go back, I'm planning to return with my partner in the future! I ended up having to arrive very late and set off very early, which was not an issue at all for my lovely hosts, who even prepared me a breakfast sandwich and snacks which were ready for me to grab on the way out early in the morning, as I was leaving before breakfast was served. Genuinely, why would you book anywhere else in Shrewsbury??

Amazing location, friendly owners, great room, loads of lovely little touches (tea/coffee & water in the room along with biscuits and a selection of toiletries if you had forgotten anything). Greg recommended a fab little pub down the road for dinner when I arrived alone earlier than my friend on the Friday. Breakfast in the morning was incredible, nothing was too much for them. Spent some time sitting on the lovely furniture on the lawn in the front with a filter coffee in the am and a g&t in the PM was perfect. Could not recommend it enough.

We had a fantastic stay at Upper Eyton Farmhouse and cannot recommend it enough. The house was absolutely lovely. The bathrooms were clean, the beds were comfy and the breakfast was delicious. We had selected a family room as we are a family of four with two young children and it suited our needs perfectly. A cot was provided - although the little one decided she would much rather snuggle in with mum after all of the excitement. There were so many comfy beds in the room however, that dad jumped ship and decided to stretch out in one all to himself! Nothing was too much trouble for the very welcoming hosts. We arrived much later than planned but were still greeted warmly. They even went to the effort of returning by post a new cuddly toy belonging to our youngest which had slipped underneath the cot. A thoroughly enjoyable stay and we hope to return in the future.

The bathroom was tiny but the fittings were of a good quality. The host had taken a lot of trouble anticipate the needs of her guests. Because of the semi rural location the surroundings were peaceful with lovely views. and the parking facilities were good. The breakfast was satisfying and there was a pub serving good food minutes away.

For me personally the stairs to the rooms were a challenge but I managed them OK. Some people may not be comfortable with sharing a breakfast table with strangers.

Upper Eyton Farmhouse is an absolute gem! The setting is breathtaking—waking up to birdsong instead of traffic and looking out over peaceful fields was pure bliss. Our hosts were warm, welcoming, and truly went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Breakfast was absolutely superb, fresh, local and full of flavor. It felt so personal and special compared to staying in a bland, generic hotel. Our family absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back. Well done to you both!

The rural feel of the place was just what we wanted. A countryside escape with all you need on offer. A charming, characterful place which the owners take great care of. Dawn was fab as a host with no request too small and plenty of tips. Greg is on hand to help if needed as well. We had such a restful sleep on the comfortable bed. Breakfast was lovely and the vegetarian option for me was perfect. Great coffee too! The farmland setting can be seen from nearly every window and the Shropshire hills aren't far from view either.

As with properties like this, some rooms can feel small and the only minus if I was being ultra picky, would be the small bathroom. But it did not detract from the lovely experience.

I recently stayed at Upper Eyton Farmhouse B&B, from the moment we arrived. The host Greg made us feel welcome, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere and entertained our little one. The farmhouse was charming, and our room was cozy. The next morning, our other host Dawn cooked a delicious breakfast. The peaceful, countryside location added to the charm, with beautiful views all around and plenty of opportunities for walks in the fresh air. I highly recommend Upper Eyton Farmhouse B&B to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway in the countryside. We’d definitely stopping here again!

A little bit cold initially in the room but soon warmed up.

Everything. The welcome from Dawn and Greg was so warm and friendly. The location of the Farmhouse is wonderful. Surrounded by stunning countryside views. The family room was so spacious and the little touches such as juice and biscuits in the room for our daughter were lovely. Breakfast in the morning was delicious especially the sausages and again our daughters were so looked after too. We will definitely be returning.

The accommodation was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Our room had an en-suite shower room, tv, tea and coffee making facilities. Out on the landing was a basket of extras that might be needed such as shampoo, toothbrushes, hairspray, sanitary products etc. Iron and ironing board were also available. The beds were comfortable ensuring a good night’s sleep. The full English breakfast was outstanding and cooked to perfection. Our hosts, Greg and Dawn, were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. A wonderful place to stay.
