We stayed at la Posada for one night on our way to Los Picos. Right from the beginning, we were warmly welcomed by the host and shown around the place. La Posada is a beautiful building with a lovely combination of wood (beams) and stone, full of flowers and colours. The room was impeccable, with beautiful wooden shutters and two-piece front door. The breakfast served was of good quality, with a choice of sweet pastries, bread, cheese, hams and yoghurt, as well as fruit, orange juice and coffee/tea. The hosts were always smiling and very helpful. José recommended an amazing restaurant in Suances where we had the best seafood and fish in our lives. Couldn't recommend more! ¡Gracias!

Gemma and Jose were wonderful hosts !So friendly and kind. The Posada is beautiful with a profusion of plants flowers and trees.The room was comfortable, the breakfast was ample.

The location was beautiful and super calm. The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. We asked if we could have breakfast earlier than the usual hours. They made sure to leave coffee, pastries, and other things in the dining room for us to choose from in the morning. They also gave us great recommendations about the area.

Very clean and comfortable rooms, good water pressure in bathrooms and good breakfast served. Good value for money and in quite a rural scenic setting. Restaurants at Suances a short drive away. Very helpful hosts.

A convenient distance to Santander ready for our ferry home the following day. Close to the little bay which we visited before driving to Santander and close to Santillana.

The only thing that was a bit unpleasant was the wail of a cow at dawn the following morning as though it was in a lot of pain/being killed. It woke us both up.

Very kind and attentive people, that made you feel very welcome and at home. The bed was really comfortable and everything was clean and well cared for. Beautiful garden too

We've been here before, very hand for the Santander to UK return ferry with a pretty beach nearby and the old town of Santillana del Mar. Lovely rooms and breakfast included. Fabulous with it's own car park.
