Hotel in a good location, very helpful boss. Good price, very comfortable with added extras - if you needed them ;-)

I knew it was a 'love' hotel but I didn't need it for that, just the good location. However, I never expected that I could not open my own door, this had to be done electronically by the person on reception and this included when in the room. You had to phone reception and ask for your door to be opened, so effectively you were locked in - too weird!

We read mixed reviews but this room was fantastic for us. Quick walk to bus stop and bit further to metro. Near the art museum and university. 7/11 just nearby. Fab big room. Great facilities. Microwave etc. Jacuzzi bath. Super quiet at night. Good heating. Lovely options for soft lighting. Dressing gowns. Loads of nice extras. We had a key to get in and out but the door is locked at night once you come in finally and reopened in the morning. Can’t fault it for the price.

Big rooms. Maybe I was lucky but I didn't get that horrible experience that some reviewers had. I came in 2025 July and you get your own key so you can come and go as you like.

The two things that I had a problem with was a hint of smoke smell when entering the room, but that disappeared after the first night. And the door doesn't have any isolation so you can hear people walking in the hall.

The hotel was a little bit outside of Kyoto but only a 10 minute walk from the subway in a beautiful quiet area with some lovely walks , we had a big room and a fantastic shower room and the bed was very comfortable, it offered very good value for money as the hotels in Tokyo city were very expensive

Location! Size of rooms. Clean. Friendly. Safe. Old-school hotel. There's no mold it's just in incense to cover up the smell of the zoo and pond near by. Highly recommended. Better than staying downtown and views of the moustain and shrine at night. And there's easy parking

Location is good. Room is very very big and spacious as well as the bathroom. It has a great sound system and is possible to smoke inside.

Check in is at 5pm, if you need to check in early you need to pay an extra fee. The bed is big but it is not so comfortable.

Hotel is in good location, near tourist attractions, convenient store, 100 Yen shop. All staff are perfect, good service. Rooms are clean. Everything is good. Recommend this hotel if come to Kyoto.

It was close to public transport and in a quiet area. It's in an excellent location. The hotel looks a little dated but the room was great Free parking on the property.

The car park is a little tight.

Really big room for a small price. Big bathroom as well with a bath tub, big tv, massage chair available in the room. Room service for food (food was not the best but ok ) and drinks. Recommended

communication is not the best. only japanese available. Have to ask reception to open the door every time.
