Denise made us feel very welcome from the get go. The hospitality was amazing! She had a whole bundle with things to do, menus from almost all restaurants in Coromandel and was always happy to share some travel tips. Parking was included in the price as well. Thanks for that, Denise. The room was clean and cozy. The view was amazing! Bath room was located outside, which was a first for us but given the bath room itself was clean and high-end, no complaints about that. Just a little inconvenient at night. Tv wasn’t really working either (Extremely slow). Although you can do without as well with this view! Really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

Wonderful hosts; great home baking; and a very reasonable price. Denise and Malcolm offer the sort of hospitality that is now largely missing from the "AirBnB" sector. I don't think we've ever stayed in holiday accommodation where we've been made to feel so genuinely welcome and cared for! We would happily stay again.

Not so much a dislike (or a deal breaker), but since I've been asked about what would make the stay even better: Future guests should note that access to the toilet and shower requires leaving the unit and taking a few steps outside (the bathroom is immaculate though!).

The view was wonderful. Very private accommodation, beds very comfortable, facilities excellent. Immaculate presentation. Our hosts Dennise and Malcom, made us feel special. Only 10 minutes to Coromandel Town with very good cafes and restaurants. Our stay was quiet and peaceful, wish we could have stayed longer.

I'm trying to be objective, however, there was nothing that we could fault.

Wow! The birds! While enjoying the view I was amazed by the tui flitting around the lawn, the kereru in the cabbage tree and hearing nearby Kingfisher in the bush alongside the house. The garden is so tidy and relaxing to be in while looking out to the water. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming, but left us to ourselves. Breakfast was perfect - I love cereal and the home-made granola was a treat, with fresh fruit salad. A short walk down to the wharf to feel part of the neighborhood and we spotted a stingray cruising around the wharf two evenings in a row. What a treat. And the accommodation was very comfortable and had everything we needed.

Not really something that concerned us, but the bathroom was a short walk (5 steps) outdoors - all under cover and sheltered. Lights at night. It added to the relaxing holiday feel. But maybe something to check out if mobility is an issue.

Lovely couple,so friendly. Some love.y homely touches,homemade bred,homemade cakes on arrive. Breakfast is left in the apartment,which is great,no pressure to get up early,just have it when you choose. Bed really comfy,views are amazing. Denise very kindly let me use the washing machine and let me hang my clothes out to dry

Only that the bathroom is just outside,but nonetheless is beautiful aNd the shower is very powerful. They have done the best they can re bathroom,as not enough room inside to put an e suite.

The property is definitely a little piece of Paradise . Denise and Malcom have an exceptional property and it’s immaculate . Like brand new .So clean and very tasteful Decor . We had everything we needed . We had beautiful weather .very enjoyable for our 3 day stay . They made us feel like we were visiting friends .

There was nothing we didn’t like ..

Modern furnished apartment with very good bed. Incredible view of the port of Coromandel City. In the Bird Haven you are actually awakened at dawn by a polyphonic concert of the birds. Good wifi.

I don't know if the gas-powered grill on the terrace and a microwave can replace a hotplate. We have refrained from cooking our breakfast egg.

Fantastic location & view. Quiet and peaceful. Very well equipped. Very friendly & helpful hosts. Appreciated the folder with suggested walks & activities. BBQ & covered outdoor seating area.

The only thing is that we could hear some movement from upstairs, but it wasn't noisy. Bathroom was a step outside, but private & covered so not a problem.

We were greeted with genuine warmth by Denise and Malcolm There's plenty of space & comfort. The bed linen was top quality. The garden & view are lovely and full of birdsong. Watch the sunset The bathroom is spacious & having it outside is an irrelevance against the overall quality & friendliness

We found the place very relaxing, the views beautiful and the garden and bush surrounds very peaceful.

The only slight negative is the separation of the bathroom. Oh we had a little trouble using the TV - reception was poor and response slow. My wife also found it quite difficult craning up to see the screen.
