This is a charming guest house where the owners live on-site and warmly welcome you upon arrival, yet still offer complete privacy throughout your stay. Located in the peaceful countryside, we even spotted some beautiful horses nearby. The room was spacious, and the bed very comfortable. Their lovely dog added to the cozy atmosphere. Breakfast was generous and thoughtfully prepared, with many homemade items. Coromandel town is just a 5-minute drive away.

The room is on the second floor, so if you're carrying heavy luggage, consider it a bit of an arm workout - but honestly, it wasn't an issue for us.

We were a group of friends staying overnight on our way to walk the Pahi Coastal walk. We booked several rooms and had the whole place to ourselves which was great. We loved the communal lounge and kitchen areas and it meant we could easily make our lunches to take with us for the first day of our walk. Judy and Gerard were wonderful hosts. The breakfast was exceptional. Homemade muesli and breads and also fruit from their garden and yogurt and condiments. Also coffee and tea. The location was very handy as we had cars to drive the 5 mins into Coromandel village for dinner. Plenty of parking

Due to a comprehensible reason the hosts coundn't be present during my stay, but the communication beforehand was very nice and easy, and the friend how took over was just lovely :-) - The building, the garden and the location are stunning. - Sparkling clean. - Best breakfast I had during my 7 weeks stay in NZ. Everything home-made and very tasty. Just perfect!

Can't think of anything anyone could criticise about this place

Great location just outside the town with a beautiful garden & grounds and we had a lovely room downstairs with ensuite. The homemade products and fresh fruit are delicious and we enjoyed spending breakfast time chatting with the other guests and our hosts Judy & Gérard who made our stay most relaxed and enjoyable in this lovely part of NZ.

What a wonderful venue. Judy and Gerard made us both feel very welcome into their home and it couldn’t have been nicer. The surroundings are incredibly peaceful and relaxing. The breakfast was just the icing on the cake with all homemade offerings such as preserves, granola made with ingredients picked from their own garden. Absolutely fabulous.

Beautiful property; room large and bright and comfortable, very well equipped. Garden was a special treat, fruiting citrus orchards, with newly picked mandarins and fresh orange juice for breakfast. Host friendly and talkable. One of the things we really like about traditional B&Bs is the chance to get acquainted with the owners.

We travelled from UK to NZ and our first stay was here in Coromandel , Gerrard and Jill made us very welcome and the breakfast outside was a bonus ( the weather when we arrived was wet) , but this was nothing to do with the hosts who made up for the poor weather. We would recommend Jacaranda lodge to all.

There was nothing we didn't like, we only stayed one night, and would have liked to stay longer.

The gardens were beautiful and the property was quiet. Had some great chats with the owner, and he recommended a great local restaurant for dinner. Check in and out was very easy and there was heaps of space to park.

There were some residents staying at the same time who had covid, and we had a shared bathroom and kitchen facilities. Breakfast was lovely, but no hot food, only toast/cereal/yoghurt (which was all delicious though).

We had such a nice stay - a true authentic B&B experience. Judy and Gerard are really friendly hosts who we really enjoyed chatting to, and they provided great local knowledge for walks and things to do in the area. Excellent location on a lovely property and a short drive into Coromandel town for cafes/restaurants, our room had a very comfy bed, and delicious breakfast with homemade breads and fruits from the property. If you’re staying in Coromandel, look no further than Jacaranda Lodge!

I loved eating breakfast outside overlooking the garden. Fresh fruit (including home picked Figs) lovely preserves for the toast including their home grown tomatoes & Avocado & my favourite the marmalade.
