We had a great time staying at Ohuka, our second time here. The room is very comfortable, spacious, modern, and with a wonderful view of the hills and the bay. The location is peaceful, up above Whitianga but with close access to the town and the beaches. Above all we appreciated visiting with the hosts, who are so friendly and welcoming, while having breakfast, which was plentiful and delicious. We would return again when we can.

The owners were so welcoming, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room was large, with a very comfortable bed & lovely en suite shower room. The views were stunning & it was in a great location to visit the area. We loved everything about this B&B.

Excellent place to relax or chill. Beautiful view. Rooms very large, comfortable, clean, well appointed. Ample full breakfast with concern for guest's preferences. Very friendly and accommodating hosts.

It was not a negative for me, but the location would not suit those who want to be in the middle of the action. It's a fair way out of town with no public transport, so you need a car. But you wouldn't have the tranquility or the great view in most other spots.

Sue & Harvey are amazing hosts. The rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. It felt like a home away from home.

The location provides amazing views of Whitianga however you will need a car to get around. It's really hard to find anything to dislike. The stay and hospitality was outstanding.

I loved everything about the place - the amazing view, the room, the spacious bathroom, the little patio, the fact that we even had a grill outside and could have a BBQ. The biggest highlight for me, besides the gorgeous view, were the two super adorable cats. Sue and Harvey are very responsive, helpful and friendly, just excellent hosts. Sue and Harvey are friendly and helpful hosts, who provide a delicious breakfast. The homestay is a short drive from town with rural outlook and a sea view. The room and bathroom are spacious, very comfortably furnished and beautifully clean. We really enjoyed our stay :-)

Super experience staying with Sue and Harvey. The room was outstanding. Comfortable, modern, with a wonderful view of the mountains and the ocean. Above all, we enjoyed the time with the hosts, their friendly breakfast and the time and interest they gave in talking to us and giving advice on travel. We certainly hope to visit again.

The house is very nice and clean. This place was ideal for me for one night stay. Big advantage is the owners - very friendly couple. And the best part was a delicious homemade breakfast supplemented with nice chat with the owners :).
