The view from the terrace is amazing, the staffs are really helpful to arrange anything during our stay using Whatsapp. The amenities, cleanness, breakfast all good and I like their eco-friendly atmosphere. Our 2 Bedrooms villas have mini kitchen and lounge area, it was cosy and nice.

The location is calm and nice but pretty much isolated from city center so we need to take taxi or Hotel's car services, To go for dinner etc, it might be easier to stay somewhere else in the walking distance to city center when travelling with kids. Another thing is, there are so many centipides in the room, (therefore they have beach sandals while staying) for those who are sentisitive for insects, I will not recommend.

I recently stayed at a beautifully located hotel with breathtaking views. The standout feature was the incredibly friendly and helpful staff. When a tour company failed to pick me up, the hotel staff seamlessly arranged an alternative and even provided transport to the port for a similar excursion. The service was impeccable, and the meals were delicious. The cottage amenities were outstanding, offering a luxurious touch to the stay. I highly recommend this hotel for a fantastic getaway with top-notch service.

Beautiful location, away from town with great views of coast and islands. Very private. On site taxi service at reasonable cost. Great staff. Beautiful bamboo houses. One day we just admired the view.

Breakfast was very poor given this is a top of price range location. Processed bread and cheap jam. Kitchen area basically sink and kettle.

- Conveniently located close to the airport and town of Labuan Bajo. You can take a nice walk into the town which is about 20 mins away. - Free airport pick-up. - Super friendly staff with very good English. I accidentally left my trainers in the room after checking out and they arranged with a friend to have them transported to my hotel in my next destination (Ruteng) - 4 hours away. Beyond expectations of service. - Excellent food. Recommend having dinner here as better than most food places we tried in the town. - Unique experience to stay in a bamboo villa with excellent views of the sunset, water and neighbouring islands. - Mosquito cream provided on arrival which came in really handy given they are present in the area. - Breakfast take away box provided in early am (4am) for day trip to Komodo.

The staff were very friendly and did their job with a smile. They literally ran our luggage to our rooms, up those steep ladders - we were very grateful! The view was absolutely amazing! The shower and bathroom were very nice - but note that they are open to the woods around towards the roof, you might meet a bug of some sorts there. The "living room" area is a cozy area, but note that it's open to all, no doors.

Being on the hillside, it didn't come as a surprise that the stairs to our villa were many, but for some reason they felt difficult to climb - probably steeper than normal. I wouldn't recommend staying here to anyone with any knee problems or other issues climbing any stairs. The food was mediocre. Note that it's quite far to walk anywhere - you need to rely on their shuttle service (free once per day, and a small price for additional rides) or other driver services. The locks on the doors to the room are almost just for show - if anyone wanted to open the locked doors they'd simply need to a little shove. I would never leave anything valuable in the villa.

My 2-day stay at Elang Hillside Bamboo Villas in Labuan Bajo was nothing short of magical. Perched on a hillside, the villas offered breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding lush greenery and ocean. The bamboo architecture was stunning, blending harmoniously with nature while providing modern comforts. The peaceful ambiance made it a perfect retreat, and the staff were warm and attentive, ensuring a memorable experience. I highly recommend this unique and serene escape for anyone visiting Labuan Bajo!

Everything!! The most stunning property, from the moment you got there everything was perfect :) the staff were all so lovely, and extremely accommodating, the views are out of this world, every detail has been thought of, the bamboo villas are like staying in a tropical treehouse but with all the amenities and comforts you could need, the food was delicious and they even had a taxi service to get to and from town. We had the best week staying here

Nothing to dislike about our stay

This was a real find! Situated just outside Labuan with spectacular views from the hillside villas over the bay. The hotel provides a taxi service to get you down into the town (you wouldn't want to walk it - the hills are very steep!) which was always available when we needed it (charged). Set in beautifully maintained grounds it has a small plunge pool with sun loungers and shade. Generous breakfast which is served in the room - well, technically on the terrace of the villa under the room which is on stilts. They have a limited but very tasty menu for lunch and dinner too. Staff are excellent - so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. They were particularly kind and attentive when one of our party was sick. The massages were excellent. Highly recommended for a great stay!

The only downside - although small - were all the steps up to the villa but we recognise this is unavoidable. Might be worth checking out in more detail if you have mobility issues.

Beautifully situated on the hillside with fantastic views over the bay. Bamboo structure but with good airconditioning and mosquito nets. Really cute concept, a little exposed to the elements, but watertight and not a brick in sight. We stayed in villa number 1. Lovely helpful staff and free transfer to and from the airport which is less than 5 minutes away and equal distance to the port for Komodo boat trips.

Like some other Indonesian establishments, in terms of alcohol, they only serve beer. Didn’t bother us too much.

Nice bamboo villa up in the hills with a nice view of the bay. Just a few min from the airport and about 20min walk from the city. We got mosquito cream at check in and the mosquito net worked well. The views are very nice and the attention to detail in making everything possible out of bamboo is cute.

The villas are a bit cramped and the mosquito net is so fine that there is little ventilation in the bed. Average breakfast and limited dinner options in the hotel.
