Liked the staff, amenities, and continental breakfast

I rarely fill these out, but I felt like this really needs to be shared or at least brought to someone's attention. Can you PLEASE put real doors on the bathrooms!!! Everything else was great and we would absolutely love to stay again, but I hate having a sliding door (that may sometimes start to slowly roll open) while I'm in the bathroom. Kind of a deal breaker. No adult likes to share a room with their family and not be able to at least close the bathroom door. It doesn't even have to lock, but a latch of some sort would be a huge improvement. We're a close family, but we need some speck of privacy, sheesh! The property was perfect except for the lack of privacy due to not having a bathroom door that you can count on staying closed.

Comfortable beds, close to the freeway, friendly staff, clean, updated facility.

For some reason, our TV would come on in the middle of the night with a welcome sign. This has happened several times. So we have to get up and find the remote and turn it off. Staff’s not sure how to fix it.

The property is nice. It’s newer or been updated. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is good. The hotel is family friendly. The beds were comfortable. Great location.

The pool was a little too chilly and the jacuzzi was too hot. They only clean your room every other day.

A good location and seemingly quiet. I loved the electric darkening shades and curtain for the room.

Nothing really not to like. Just one mention though if possible, for there to be more easy access outlets for use with devices.

The breakfast and the breakfast staff were great! Very hardworking. The rooms were clean and location was close to everything.

The pool area was dirty, the hot tub was extremely dirty and the temperature was not even close to hot. We could not even use it, which was very disappointing. Also, we booked a room with a bathtub and got a room with just a shower.

The room was nice and big. Breakfast was really good, very good selection. The lady taking care of the breakfast was really nice and super efficient.

A fan in the bathroom would have been nice and a lock for the bathroom door. The hot tub was not working, which was a bit disappointing. The front staff could be a bit more service minded, maybe a welcome or a smile when you come to check in.

Hotel location is perfect for visiting small towns and hiking in the Bellingham area; there is plenty of onsite parking; breakfast included has enough variety both for adults and kids; Starbucks is just across the parking lot, so you can walk there if you don't like the coffee served at the hotel; The indoor pool and the hot tub are of a decent size. The room and the hotel in general is very clean. Receptionists and other hotel staff are kind and made us feel welcomed!

Water in the pool was cold as the heater was broken. We spent more time in the hot tub than what we planned due to the pool water temperature. Restrooms at the pool area were not available (out of order).

The breakfast was good. I am gluten free and it would be helpful if there was gluten free signs for the homemade food but I am used to it. The staff were friendly and the hotel was super clean.

The room was not very quiet at night because I think there was a party in the banquet room but that’s ok. It can’t be helped if having a party.

Ventilation in bathroom: dropping bombs left it smelly for a while, but eventually cleared out. More of a peeve not realy a problem, also need background noise for privacy so I turned on the sink👍

Everything except that there was 1 chair only in room for 2 guests. Was 2nd guest meant to sit on floor? When reception person was asked for 2nd chair- I was told this standard room/ there is no second chair available.
