King room is very nice size. Room has a refrigerator and microwave, but no coffee pot. Instead, there is (bad) coffee or hot water provided with breakfast. For week long or longer stays, room cleaning occurs once per week unless ask for more often. Can ask for towel service more often, for example. There are garbage cans in the hallway where room cans can be emptied without asking for cleaning service. The rooms were clean without having that horrible hotel smell, and the beds were comfy. USB outlets available, no need to bring chargers. There is laundry at the hotel, $9/load for self-serve wash and dry. All this makes for pleasant long term stay at hotel.

We did not eat breakfast at hotel - there was nothing offered for vegans. It would be nice if there was a plant based milk available at minimum. In the room, there was a rack for hanging clothes, but not enough clothes hangers. I didn’t ask for more, I suspect they would have provided them if I asked.

It was pretty good except for the breakfast. Breakfast needs huge improvements. They had peeled boiled eggs all in an open bowl on the counter with no tongs even and people could easily touch them all—recipe for food-borne illness. Only two sweet dry cereal choices that were not whole grain (fruit loops and Frosted Flakes). Very little selection. Room was comfortable but good thing we didn’t need to run the heater all night because it was really loud. Staff were great and room was beautiful and clean. Not bad for the price. I just wouldn’t count on getting much for breakfast here. It gave us a place to lie flat for a few hours for a decent price.

I was impressed by the cleanliness of the lobby and my room. Bed was comfortable, room was spotless. No smells. Breakfast had everything I expected from a motel. Will definitely return on future trips.

A microwave in the room would have been a nice surprise, but I ended up using the one in the breakfast area

The property was clean, well lit, and so convenient to get to from the freeway. It was also just a short distance from downtown Bellingham which made going into town a simple and easy task. I stayed for 8 nights and had my towels refreshed a couple of times without having to ask which was a nice touch.

Sadly the spa (hot tub) had an “out of order” sign on the door. I don’t ask the staff if there was an estimated time for it to be back in service. Also, the breakfast was little more than carbs & sugary cereal. Waffles, bagels, toast, chocolate muffins, Frosted Flakes, Froot Loops, apples, and yogurt. I had hoped for some hot food choices like bacon or sausage, maybe even biscuits and gravy

I needed a clean, safe place to stay close to work during inclement weather. The rooms are simple, but dean and comfortable. I appreciated the in room microwave and refrigerator and nearby stores and restaurants. Staff was helpful. Breakfast provided. I especially was impressed with the spa room. I was pleasantly surprised with the great hot tub! Very clean and the water was hot enough (sometimes an issue at hotels).

I couldn't get the special rate when I asked to stay an extra night. The rate was reasonable, so it was okay.

it was very close to the location Bellingham that we were going to. The staff was very helpful when I needed an iron and an ironing board. There were good things about having a cart to get up and down from our room on the third floor.

I spilled a little water on the floor, and when I went to clean it up, the floor was fairly dirty

The room was nice and clean. I appreciated having a fridge in the room. The bed was comfortable. I also appreciated the bench to put my things on and the USB ports to plug in my devices. The staff was friendly. The location was great for my needs. I walked to the Fred Meyer across the street and enjoyed the Woods Coffee right next door.

A coffee maker in the room would have been nice. I appreciated the continental breakfast, but wished they offered more proteins. I'm gluten free so there was not much I could eat. The coffee was empty when we got there at 8 am, but they promptly made more when we asked.
