Excellent stay at La Quinta in Bellingham! Room was large enough for me and a coworker (though she moved to a different room for the final night as I needed to work late, like until three in the morning). Bed was very comfortable. A-C worked well. Fridge and microwave also worked fine. Breakfast good. Staff good. Rockin' WiFi speed once I found the correct network!

When my coworker tried the night before to extend the stay on our room, the girl at the front desk was not very helpful, being more concerned with what she was doing on her phone than helping a customer. That was irritating. So, we just booked online through Booking.com and crossed our fingers that we'd be able to keep the room an extra night rather than having to pack up, check out, do our work commitments all day, then check in again and unload everything.

The room and breakfast were excellent. The room was well equipped and very clean. The beds were comfortable, and the room was serviced daily. The breakfast had a good variety, and one of the staff went above and beyond to ensure that everything was well stocked and the breakfast area was clean and pleasant.

The laundry facility was unacceptable. One machine was broken, other machines were dirty, there was no way to get coins needed or to use a. credit card to operate the machines. I had to go elsewhere to do my laundry.

I love that our dog can stay for free! We keep coming back for this reason. The location is fine, but I suggest La Quinta include some tips on how to most efficiently go left in and out of the hotel parking lot, which is difficult due to lane barricades on the street. Google Maps does not give good instructions for this. Lastly, while the staff member who checked us in was polite, they did not give us information on where best to park and did not mention that breakfast hours are different in weekends and week days.

Very friendly,helpful staff. Nice room. Enjoyed looking over book about Bellingham's restaurants, etc. Availability of coffee/tea/iced water with lemon is a great touch. Breakfast room was very pleasant.

Foods offered for breakfast were rather disappointing. I expected more after reading reviews. More fruit or a variety of cheese, breads, cereal toppings would be an improvement. Plastic cutlery and small yogurt tubs add up to a lot of plastic waste. THE YOUNG LADY RUNNING THE BUFFET WAS EXCELLENT, KEEPING EVERYTHING WELL STOCKED - SHE MADE US FEEL VERY WELCOME.

Clean room, very comfortable bed and great water pressure in the shower! I stayed two separate nights, On Sunday, Ann at the front desk was very accommodating to my request of a high floor room, on the quiet side. I stayed again on Wednesday night and Thursday morning met Stephanie at the front desk. She is so sweet! I had checked out first thing in the morning and finished my workday much earlier than expected. I went back to the hotel and was able to work on my computer in the lobby before heading to the airport. Stephanie continued to check on me to see if there was anything I needed. I will definitely stay here again the next time I am in Bellingham!

No fault of the hotel, but there is a quite a few unhoused people roaming around the area.

Generally, everything was great.

Minor damage in the room. This reflects professionalism and expected quality. But all else was great. Even though they have a very large maintenance staff, I have been touching up minor damage in hospital settings for 15+ years (Cardiovascular rooms, clinic rooms, procedure rooms, gastroenterology, etc. I am not sure if your hotel would be interested, but after seeing some of the minor wall damage or minor caulking maintenance issues, I do feel this is a service I do for hospital settings could be applied to your industry. mimserviceinfo@gmail,com If you like, I could send pictures of the damage I saw in the room.

Breakfast room was clean and staff replenished items of food when they ran low. I think the breakfast could improve with more of a selection of cereals. Also bacon and sausages which British people love. There was lots of scrambled eggs but a selection of different eggs like fried and poached would have been nice.

Plastic cutlery I found was hard sometimes to use. Like spreading butter and cream cheese.

Clean room and really friendly service for a decent price in the area, nice to know what to expect. Easy and convenient to park at.

The breakfast included was almost all highly processed; didn't really have any fresh options. Maintenance of the rooms could also be better - the door handle to our room didn't work, and same with other guests on our floor (they had to teach us how to open it). Bathroom had peeling and cracked caulk.

Check in employee on September 15th at around noon was super friendly, efficient, and accommodating. She was able to get us in to a room earlier than planned which was a bonus. We always appreciate that prices are very reasonable & you get great value for the price. We have stayed here mord times than we can count and will continue to return. We also recommend La Quinta highly to our friends and family.

Some of the homeless in the area can be a bit off-putting, but we appreciate that there are security measures taken for that.

Wall in the bathroom by the end of the tub badly needed repair. Pillows were pretty lumpy. Eggs bacon and sausage were delicious but Oatmeal was just weird and pasty. It would be good to have more fruit, plain unsweetened yogurt, granola. I. E. Some healthy breakfast choices. Also coffee was kind of icky.
