Prime location without the expensive hotel prices. 10-15mins from the Zoo & Arch, City museum. Business district area. Capital Grille right next to hotel The breakfast in the morning is one of the best complimentary breakfasts I've had. Omelet Station, Waffle Station. Cornbeef hash. Sausage,fruit,eggs,yogurt,danishes,bagels.

No local stores to walk to. Would have to Uber or drive. The parking for the hotel is different. There is a parking garage in back of hotel you have to park in. Sort of a pain if you have alot of luggage! Would definitely recommend parking in front of hotel 1st unloading then pull in back & park.

The breakfast was amazing. And the cooks and staff each morning was so amazing. I can’t think them enough as they started our morning out just right. There was a house keeper lady and she was super friendly. Greeted us in the hall every morning and recommended various spots to take our children. She was 5 stars for sure!

The way to the pool was not very clear. The construction workers made us feel weird. They were creepy. The pool was also cold. The website stated an indoor and outdoor pool but not that it joined together. That should be more clearer. My choice of stay might have been different as my kids hardly wanted to swim because they were so cold from the water. Thank goodness was for the sauna whenever it worked.

Hotel has good location about 7 minute walk from the metro link train which takes you downtown. Hotel had a nice indoor and outdoor pool and sauna with sitting areas. Nice lobby and amenities.

Pool area does need updating and there needs to be dinner served since most things in the area close at 9pm. A hotel shuttle would be nice and the hotel is under renovation but some areas feel dated but they aren't too dated. Mid week staff needs to work on professionalism there were too staff members that were a little aggressive everyone else was pleasant.

All the hotel staff that we interacted with were great. From the reception team, to maintenance staff, to the kitchen and dining room staff everyone had a smile on their face and seemed genuinely glad that we were there. The breakfast was excellent. We did not use the gym due to our schedule, but it looked clean and very nicely equipped.

The parking situation was not good for our situation. We have a Sprinter van and it is too tall to go in the attached parking garage. There are three spots outside the hotel that you can use on a first come first served basis or for $30 they hotel will reserve you a surface spot at the road.

The room was very clean and smelled great. The shower was amazing. The bath products were also top-notch. Beds were decent little hard but not uncomfortably so. Beautiful lobby and chandeliers. Very cool elevators. The pool was warm, and the indoor outdoor aspect was very cool in the rain. The breakfast buffet had great options. Even my picky eater found stuff she likes. The waffle and omelet station put it over for us. The man making them was very friendly and told us a little bit about the hotel. We will definitely stay again.

The game room nothing worked. The parking was a little weird but worked ok.

Great location, everything we wanted to do was about a 10 minute drive! Nice neighborhood, with great restaurant options. The room was nice, we loved the shower with the touch tablet. Check in and check out we're both smooth with great staff, and everyone was so friendly with directions and recommendations. And the breakfast was incredible! The omelets were delicious and the staff was super attentive, trash or used plates never stayed on the table for over 2 minutes! I'm already planning to come back for my birthday and bring my whole family along to check out the pool!

Tablet was hard to figure out at first in the shower and kept fluctuating on its own from being super hot (110 degrees at one point) to really cold. But we didn't mind it and still loved the shower in the end. Won't stop us from booking again!

Awesome staff! Generally helpful and friendly, but especially gracious about us fumbling to find reservation (couldn't remember who in our group made it - d'oh!), and lingering past the end time of breakfast, chatting with family who came by to see us. Room was very comfy, seemed newly remodelled. Really nice shower! Very convenient location for us, near family in UCity.

Some common areas were still needing remodel, looked a bit worn. Breakfast was great, but wish restaurant/bar for other meals (though hear there are many nice eateries nearby).

Hotel is very attractive inside - spacious, chandeliers, etc. The check-in process seemed...I don't know, kinda like we should expect a random assault. Staff was behind plexiglass and not that welcoming for such a nice looking hotel. Room was very good. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Parking was free - getting to parking lot from hotel and back to the room is probably easiest by going outside then walking to the garage (or vice versa). Getting there within the hotel - bring breadcrumbs or a map. There are a lot of twists and turns to get there and back. Breakfast was a combination of rather typical hotel breakfast buffet, and made to order omelets and waffles. I only had the buffet as I was not that hungry. Enjoyed the fresh fruit, biscuit, and a small amount of precooked eggs. Checking out - also not a warm and friendly feeling. Told them about the refillable toiletries being empty and a non-functioning outlet. They seemed uninterested in knowing. So to sum it up - it was what one would want in a hotel. Clean, comfortable, quiet, relaxing rooms but we didn't feel like any one cared.

it annoys me that there is an automatic $50 deposit on room damage, that will take 3-5 days to be refunded. In theory, I just loaned the hotel $50 but will not get interest when they pay it back. Given the size of the hotel this must be a good income stream. Nearly all hotels have a policy that we will be billed if we smoke in a non-smoking room.... upon check in our credit card is on file. It's as though the expectation is we WILL indeed smoke, and while smoking will be sure to cancel our credit card (or as stated above, it's clever income stream).

The rooms are very nice, large, seem newly renovated with tile flooring [no carpet]. The bathroom was nice with a make up mirror and hair dryer. I also loved the programable shower. The bed was comfortable. The free breakfast includes omelet and waffle station which was very nice along with a full buffet.

Parking was a little inconvenient as the entrance which I have used in the past right near the front hotel entrance was blocked off and we had to go around the block to another building's entrance to access the garage. Not a huge deal but we had just had several inches of snow.

Clean and comfortable King room. The entire hotel property was spotless. As it was on our previous stay last summer. The breakfast here is fantastic. i would say that this is our favorite hotel breakfast. Plenty of offerings on the regular buffet. Then you add the waffle and omelet station is over the top. The gentleman working the station is fabulous. He was at the hotel on our last visit too. friendly and funny antidotes while your eggs are cooking. The staff at this hotel is just phenomenal. From the front desk staff, to housekeeping to engineering to breakfast staff. We felt like family with all of the staff interactions. This hotel is conveniently located for what se do in St. Louis. Already looking forward to the January visit it to St. Louis! We'll be back!
