Absolutely fantastic service from Paola and the team. They were more than accommodating when I asked for a late checkout and the driver for the shuttle was very friendly. The facilities were amazing and clean and the cleaner was cleaning all round the clock to maintain this. The resort is huge so the shuttle is needed but the Gramacho restaurant and supermarket is a short walk, say 5-7 minutes away from the residences. The pool was lovely and the room was large and spacious and super clean.

The staff were so friendly and lovely, especially the lady that helped us check out (unfortunately did not get her name before we left) Our room was perfect, beds were so comfotable, the pool area was gorgeous and quiet. The views were amazing. Breakfast was good although, as we did not own transportation I would have loved if they had offered some sort of car/golf cart to bring us as the breakfast area was a 15 minute walk, uphill, in 37 degree weather.

The place was amazing and we only ran into 2 very small issues. 1. We had been told at check in that our rooms would not be cleaned during our stay unless we requested this. We were happy to hear this as we had not wanted to be disturbed while we were there, however we left the hotel at 3pm to go sight seeing, when we returned our room had been cleaned and items had been moved around. Although I am sure this was done with no ill intent I did not appreciate the fact the staff had gone into our room unrequested. 2. As I mentioned previously I would have appreciated a car service or golf cart to help facilitate going to and from breakfast as the location of the breakfast was a mostly uphill 15 minute walk in the heat of August, which was 37 degrees.

The apartment was extremely clean. It was well equipped. It is remote but we liked that! Uber very convenient and only 4 euros a trip.

There isn’t enough Sun loungers by the pool. Although this may be intentional as it keeps the pool area quiet( one afternoon was ruined by a large group taking all loungers, drinking beer in pool and smoking cigarettes in the pool - the reception dealt with this straight away) For an apartment that could sleep 6 it’s a shame that there was only 2 chairs and one table on the balcony. The outdoor furniture was very cheap and wobbly.

Everything! All staff members - reception, housekeeping, restaurant and chauffeur were so lovely. Even after my reservation was over, reception staff offered me a few extra hours in my room until I left the resort as I was waiting for friends coming from faro airport to land, pick up our car and pick me up. They also offered me access to the pool, all free of charge as it was a hot day and wanted to make me as comfortable as possible! My friend organised a early birthday surprise with reception staff in our apartment which was absolutely beautiful. The staff members at the restaurant hold a special place in my heart. Me and my friend were definitely some of the younger residents at the resort and they never failed to put a smile on our faces. Genuinely cannot wait to come back to this resort and hopefully see these individuals again. All in all Pestana Gramacho Residences was the perfect spot to kick off my 20th birthday trip in Portugal. I have never felt so content with an established; my review says it all. 1000% book a stay here; I genuinely believe you’ll have the best time. Thank you for the amazing memories PGR! :)

Good easy check in. The location of the room was good, the size of the room was huge. The bed and the lounge were in the same room but a wall partition could easily have been installed and neither area would have been compromised on space. The views from our room were very good. Nice size kitchen with fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, full oven and microwave. Large bathroom with good quality towels. Beds were comfortable and linen was good quality. All lounge and bedroom furnishings were modern. The apartment was very quiet even though it was the summer season. Most of the guests go their to play golf so are out out all day. Good air conditioning. We had two terraces. A smallish one at the front that has the sun in the afternoon and was a perfect temperature to enjoy our breakfast. Then a very large terrace at the back which had the early morning sun and was nice to either use to sunbathe or for drying any washing. Impressive gym, very well equipped and had everything you need for a full workout. The accommodation is on a golf course and is quite a way from anything which we really liked. But it does mean you need a car when staying here. The pool and the pool area is well kept. Accommodation was full but the parking area was only half full. There are many nice places to visit whilst staying there such as Portamoa, Lagos, Ferragudo, Carvoeiro, Sukves and Alvor to mention a few.

There were some coffee stains down the wall behind and around the bed side table and the bed throw needed cleaning. A few pegs to hang out the washing would be nice plus a dishwasher tablet. A couple of pool towels would also be beneficial. But this didn’t detract from a wonderful stay. We will return as we came away feeling very relaxed.

Lots of space.Well appointed kitchen with fridge freezer washer dishwasher.Plenty of cooking facilities if required.

2 floors.Had to go downstairs to bed.A few basic cooking ingredients would have helped.Salt Pepper oil kitchen roll washing up liquid.We bought those and left them for next guest. Car is essential.

The modern rooms and the fact that was super quiet

Realized that you have to ask for the bed and towels to be changed otherwise the room is not touched. While I completely agree on the residence’s policy on changing the towels and bed sheet less often, I would have appreciated if the beds could have been done each day to find a neat room.

Lovely and relaxing break,it was very quite which was perfect.we had a hired car which is a must have.we had a 5 minute drive to the nearest village for a lovely meal in a rustic restaurant.

Apart from a faulty flush on the toilet,all was well.

We booked an appartment but received a Villa with a private pool. What an amazing expierence for our family. Everything was available in the Villa ; We even had a pool boy cleaning the swimming pool every other day. The resort was clean . Security , reception and other personel were friendly and helpfull.

The food in the restaurant was not the best, felt and tasted like menus which were heated in the microwave .. but the view from the restaurant terrace made alot good.

2nd time here. Good location, secluded, quiet, lady in the reception was efficient and polite

The breakfast is poor. Staff from the restaurant were far from nice, promptly saying everyone that it was closing in 10 minutes. Yes I know, there’s a time table but you can say it in different tones..
