A comfortable little apartment with plenty of bed options (fold-out sofa, camp bed, futon chair, twin beds), a small but serviceable kitchen, and solid shower. WiFi worked very well – we both needed to take a couple of video calls and stay in communication with friends/family, which worked fine – but it was a little temperamental and I wonder if at peak time it wouldn't be as good.

With only a few other people on site it was quiet, but you can clearly here anyone in any of the apartments nearby, so in peak season I think it would be pretty noisy. Mosquito nets, mesh window covers, and/or better-fit external doors would help keep mosquitoes out; they seemed fine during the day, but at night, even in colder weather, you couldn't avoid them. There was also only one blanket, despite occupancy for two people. Finally, be aware that the apartments are quite far (10 minute walk or more, up a gradient) from the reception. This wasn't an issue for us (it actually worked out in our favour) and there is a second pool up in the apartment complex, but it does mean the "walk time" into town or to the beach is a bit inaccurate on Google etc.

Apartment was immaculate, beautifully decorated and furnished. Fantastic sized pools and not to busy (June), both the one near our apartment and the main ones near reception. Staff all very friendly on the occasions we engaged with then.

Pools felt like they could have been a bit cleaner. Nothing serious though as used them every day all the same!! Worth noting that is a huge complex and some apartments will be further from than town and from main reception area than you'd realise from the description. We were aware of this so didn't bother us but might be an issue if you weren't aware.

Lovely spacious bungalow, with everything you needed. Lovely pool and pool area, never felt over crowed and always felt welcome. Had 2 evening meals in the l onside restaurant, which was excellent. Whole campus is beautiful and feels very private. Easy 15min walk into town. For use the complex and location were fabulous.

Generally excellent and really enjoyed our stay, few very minor maintenance items that could be addressed, but nothing that would affect you stay. Bungalow do not have general consumable, ie table salt, and only had 2 dishwasher tablets for the week., but other than those very minor items was excellent.

We were in a 3 bedroom villa with a non heated pool. It was very quiet, almost at end of property, villa 101, nice views, great gated yard with enough parking for 2 to possibly 3 vehicles. Spacious living room, great yard and pool area. Big eating area outside, also inside. We loved our stay and location, 20 minute slow walk to Carvoeiro.

We needed extra toilet paper, the master shower can splash onto the floor if shower head isn't pointing towards the tap's wall. There is no basic supplies, like coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, spices, paper towels, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, washing items for dishes or for dish washer or laundry detergent. No pool towels nor any beach towels.

The property was traditional, but was comfortable. We stayed in one of the small bungalows which had two balconies and two good sized bedrooms. The decor had a homely feel and was fitted with all the amenities we required. The complex had a great pool, well actually three pools. So was well kitted for children. There was a pool bar and plenty of sun loungers. Which we enjoyed.

There wasn’t really anything that we disliked, it was a really well put together place as it it had an on-site shop, bar and breakfast facilities if you wanted it. The only possible issue would be if you didn’t have a car or weren’t too mobile… as The walk to the township of Carvoeiro was down and up a few hills. But it was fine for us even with a child buggy - taking us about 10/15 mins to walk.

The location was equal parts beautiful, accommodating, and convenient. The landscaping details with all the flowers everywhere was so beautiful. Definitely my wife’s favorite part. The reception desk & staff was always helpful and kind. Whenever we had questions or an issue, they made sure to take care of it. The amenities are incredible for the value. In my experience, getting a full kitchen, washer, dryer, dishwasher, 2 showers, big living space AND fully stocked cooking utensils at the price, is almost unheard of in other parts of Europe. There was nothing we were missing. With the fully loaded kitchen we were able to go to a local grocery store and buy local produce to make our own food, which saves us money on dining & allows us to experience food just as the locals would. The value for the place is tremendous. It was not far from the beaches, petrol stations, grocery stores, etc. good place, good people. Can’t recommend enough!

When booking your room there is the option to have breakfast included or not. To save some money, we did not choose the option that included breakfast. It is 10€ more. It would have been nice to always have breakfast included by default, but If you’re willing to buy groceries, you can make a really good breakfast with fresh fruit, bread, juice, etc.

It is a lovely resort which was a bit quieter tho time of year. We were close to a pool area, the shop, main reception and restaurant were about min walk. To get to beaches, you'd definitely need a car.Breakfast was included and it was great. Edgar, who was at the breakfast bar both mornings, needs a special mention. He was exceptionally friendly.

Like others have complained, the lack of a dish cloth and soap for washing dishes is a problem. There must be a reason for this. Basic toiletries and a hair dryer will be helpful. Some tourists fly in with very little luggage allowances.

Our bungalow unit was very comfortable, well-equipped and impeccably clean. We enjoyed the terrace and its furniture also. The reception staff is quite professional. The pools were nice too. The location is close to beaches but it's best to have a car.

Getting there by car can be a bit of a maze once you're off the main roads. Clearer signage to find Quinta do Paraiso could help. Also, although this is not directly related to the property, we found the town of Carvoeiro to be overcrowded when we were there in August.

The apartment was much more spacious than we expected. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure. There was a pool nearby, which was a nice bonus. The walk to town was enjoyable and took about 15 minutes from reception. Just note that the resort is quite large, so getting from the apartment to reception can take 5–10 minutes, but we didn’t mind this at all.

Not a major issue, but there was no soap holder in the shower, so we had to balance our shampoo and shower gel on the towel rail.

The pool was easily accessible, always clean. The staff were very accomodating and friendly. We stayed in a villa close to the reception and it was cleaned about 3 times a week. The food at the poolside was very reasonable, price wise.

We were here 2 years ago and since then the poolside bar and food options now finish at 7pm, while reception fully closes at 8pm. It would have been nice to have the option to stick around the pool a little later on the very hot evenings.
