We love the peace and tranquility. The location is excellent as it’s near enough to places to visit but set in the heart of the countryside. The gardens are lovely and our apartment was very private. We were extremely delighted to be given an upgrade to a deluxe apartment which was fantastic as we stayed for nearly three weeks. The apartment was very comfortable and we loved the fact that you could opt out of having the apartment refreshed everyday. It’s really not essential and it’s definitely a brilliant idea. This was our fifth visit and certainly won’t be our last.

they placed us in an apartment overlooking park areas but with young kids this meant a lack of privacy and we couldn't safely let them play out enjoying the grounds, most nights the food was the wrong order or Luke warm, we hated complaining as staff were so lovely and trying hard to please but no one wants cold mash or undercooked cod! 25 euros to hire tennis rackets, it's not included - though gym and spa (quite tired, the sauna especially) was included

The staff was friendly and helpful. They answered every question with patience and even went out of their way by offering to let us come to breakfast early the last day when we let them know we had to leave early in the morning to catch our train. The property is beautiful and offers lots of amenities. The breakfasts are fantastic. We also enjoyed 2 delicious dinners at the restaurant. While the resort is a little isolated that is one of the reasons we loved it. We could get an Uber relatively cheaply and go wherever we wanted with no trouble since it's perfectly situated in the middle of all the places we wanted to go. If we are fortunate enough to travel to Portugal again, this will definitely be the place we will stay.

Nothing except we didn't have enough time to enjoy the indoor pool since we only had 3 nights and wanted to see a lot of the local sights. It looked wonderful though.

The property was spacious, very clean and had all the facilities you would expect in your own home. Staff were very friendly and always happy. I had a bad experience at the airport with car rental but the lady on duty at the hotel was the absolute reverse of my experience at the airport. Excellent customer service.

I don’t think the food lives up to the east if the experience. It was very sterile in the dining room. We ate out on the locality most nights for cheaper and better quality food plus we could choose what we wanted from an extensive menu.

We were surprised with an amazing upgrade, from a booked hotel room we were upgraded to a 2 bedroom house with a terrace and garden, We were also give vouchers for wine and for discount on diners. We also had free use of health club with a gym, indoor pool, hot tub and sauna. Everything was really clean and smelling lovely. The staff was very kind and helpful and friendly.

The two bed apartment was spacious, nicely fitted out and really comfortable. Staff were lovely and the pool was nice.

There were not enough Sun-beds around the pool, unless you went down to the pool first thing you would miss out which was frustrating. People should be discouraged from reserving sun-beds and not using them for hours. Also a small thing but the pillows on the beds were really uncomfortable. Everything else in the apartment was great.

Accomodations were superb. Facilties were also great including both pools....

Sauna was not hot. Jacuzzi broken. Gym equipment was decent but one of the two treadmills broken. Mostly disappointed with quality of food at dinner and service. Kids food was garbage. Totally recooked chicken nuggets. Potato gratin was burnt. Service was poor enough havito ask 2-3 times for certain things.

I love the breakfast, It is in a buffet format and they had everything. Also I like to much the people that work there, they were really kind and always they are paying attention of what you need. Also the activities that they had on the gym or the pool were really interesting. My partner and I are really happy with the experience.

Honestly I like everything. maybe the prices of Olive Tree restorant are a little bit to high, but the food is really tasty there, so in terms of quality and price I think it is ok.

The room was very clean & light. Fantastic huge comfy bed with lovely linen. The breakfast is really nice- plenty of choice and pleasant staff on hand. Evening dinner also enjoyable - served by lovely welcoming staff who couldn’t do enough to accommodate us. Juan( I think) is a star- really loves his work and everything customer focused . He & his colleagues made us feel special We know that the indoor pool is great but we didn’t have time to use it this time . Outdoor pool looks great but too cool in January for us to use. Gardens are beautifully kept. Gardener looked very conscientious. Very peaceful out of season and excellent value at this time of year

There was a drain smell in the bathroom - same smell outside on the approach to our block of rooms The bath with shower inside was very high and difficult to a get into for someone with a physical disability . It took a while for the room to warm up on arrival but all fine after a while It is a distance from the sea but location is clear on the website . Fine with a car obviously.
