I have previously been to this hotel and enjoyed it. We stayed in one of the bubgalows that sleeps 8 people. We are a group of friends in our 40s. This bungalow is fantastic. It has 3 decent sized bedrooms, 2 of which are en suite. There is also another bathroom. There is a large communal living/ dining room/ kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped with a large fridge, oven, washing machine, and microwave. The beds are comfortable, and maids come every other day. The air con is great. The bungalow is tucked away on the periphery of the grounds, so its nice and quiet. Its a short stroll from the pool which is brilliant. Very large and the staff allow balls and inflatables so kids were able to enjoy themselves as i have previously been places that do not allow this. As a group of males we had no issues with the stag and hen parties at weekend but something for families to consider. The hotel will take a €100 deposit off each person on arrival and return it on check out provided all is ok with the accommodation. Its a 20 min walk to the old town and the beach. Taxis are about 8 euros, but ubers are very cheap. We went to vilamoura for 2 evenings, and an Uber was less than €10 andd it was a 25-minute trip.

The location is amazing. The facilities or having a shop, pool bar and a decent pool. The bungalow we stayed in was very spacious.

The bungalow itself was very clean and cleaners did knock everyday but there was dead cock roaches along the corridor that were not cleaned up. Also the cleaners only provide toilet roll, towels and take rubbish they don't actually clean the room. I would also say this is quite a family hotel but some of the groups of stags were inappropriate and bad behaviour. But the staff did sort it in fairness.

The apartment, 435, was spacious, clean, and well equipped. It overlooked the green/pool area. The beds were quite comfy compared to some I have stayed in at similar apartments. There were two sofa beds in the sitting area and a well equipped kitchenette ( 2 ring cooker, oven, fridge, sink and accessories) with a dining table and chairs. The balcony was quite spacious with a table and chairs. The bathroom was large, with a bath/shower (although I would suggest swapping the bath curtains out for a glass door), a large sink area, bidet, and toilet. The water pressure is amazing, to the extent that at full pressure, my shower head sometimes popped out of its holder on the wall. The apartment had separate air-conditioning units in the bedroom and kitchen/sitting room. This was included. there is no need to pay additional for the remote at reception. There is a safe in the room that we did not use, though it seems like you pay for the lock. Blackout curtains on the 2 patio doors, with a net curtain over them to ensure privacy during the day. Housekeeping came daily if you wanted it. A little more attention could be paid to areas out of sight (such as under the bed) and the base of the bath. The swimming pool area had plenty of sunbeds, most free, with the option to hire a better quality sunbed and umbrella. We were never stuck for a seat or a sunbed. The hotel is located between the old and new town, though slightly closer to the new town. 10 mins walk to new town, 15 to old town. There are plenty of options for food and drink on the way to both. I think many of the people writing them don't understand the level of accommodation to expect for the price point at this hotel. It is not five stars, or even 4 stars, but for what I paid for 9 nights for a 1 bedroom apartment, it was perfectly acceptable. It is dated in the main apartment block, with a few bungalows that were more modern. The reception is very large, staff are ok.

The grates around the swimming pool could do with replacing or power washing at a minimum. The pool is large and cold and not overly chlorinated. The pool bar/restaurant is mediocre for food and expensive for both food and drink. My opinion is they would have more people buying from them if they reduced these costs and accepted cards, as many buy the much cheaper options in the spar shop or the very nearby shopping centre. The hotel bar is similarly overpriced, with a variety of musical entertainment each night.

the pool and the entertainment around same. DJ, games, etc. Liked the bungalow we had, safe and away from the hustle of the main hotel. Liked the on-site store and cafe

Accessibility could be improved with some minor tweaks. Paths immediately outside the hotel reception/hotel entrance where not Accessible. The paths in the garden are just a bit narrow for a wheelchair user. Bar entertainment wasn't great, and the price of a drink there was more than most places you will visit

Great hotel. Staff very friendly. Pool area brilliant. Even though the sunbeds close to the pool are gone early with people leaving towels, there are loads of other sun beds you can use on the grass area which is also close to the pool. Pool bar/restaurtant has nice food and drinks. Kids loved the diving boards. Our room was great. Plenty of space and everything worked. There is a coffee shop within the hotel at the front and the coffees there were by far the nicest I had during my stay in Albuferia.

The kids entertainment at night is way too short. Just a 15minute disco...would be great if they put on some magic shows or other type of acts for children. I wouldnt let kids out in balcony area of rooms alone. Wall is high enough but if they climbed on a chair it could dangerous. Pool prices for ice creams and food is expensive.

Facilities are very good especially for families with Kids. Pool staff very friendly and organise different events to keep kids entertained. Pool bar very good with a good selection of drinks and food. Hotel has various shops and night time entertainment which is excellent.

Alot of the free to use sun beds need to be replaced as they are damaged. There are other sunbeds but you have to oay €7.50 per day to rent them out so if you were staying 10+ nights this can be very expensive. The whole pool bar is cash only. The onsite crazy golf is broken and not in good shape and definitely needs to be either fixed or taken away.

How spacious the apartments were. The location was fab. The indoor pool was also great.

Main areas of the room was clean but under the beds etc was very dusty.

The entertainment crew led by Eddy (apologies if spelt wrong) completely made our holiday and the Paraiso is so lucky to have them working there!! They were so kind and attentive to all our children and are the main reason why we hope to come back again next year as it was the best family holiday we have ever had and left them with memories for life.

Depending what receptionist you got some were quite unhelpful. Also could do with some more shampoo been left in bathrooms. Minor complaints that wouldn't stop us staying again as got great value for money.

The pool facility was brilliant, staff very friendly particularly the night staff that checked us in when we arrived and gave us keys each evening when we were back! Lots of facilities such as poolside bar and shops inside the hotel!

The oven in the room did not work and the air conditioning did not work at first but we got it sorted!

Excellent location, lovely bright modern bungalow and good pool. Super air conditioning. Cleaned daily by lovely ladies and they provided plenty of towels. Family of 6.

Pool area needs attention ground not cleaned daily which is a pity lovely pool and also the Astro on the diving board kept flipping up tripping children. I nearly got glue myself to do it. It’s ridiculous you have to pay for the more comfortable sun loungers as they weee left empty.
