Clean and tidy. Good location. Friendly staff. Was able to use other hotels for food, drinks and leisure facilities.

The entertainment programme could have been better in the evenings.

It was a very relaxing holiday. Staff were great, helpful. Room was spacious and well equipped. Entertainment was different every day, something for everyone.

It wasn't a 5 star hotel more like a 4 star?! Pool bar area wasn't great for a 5star. We had to collect our glasses because of luck of staff. Bar saff was great though! The view from our room was a football pitch and car park! Not what we expected! Shower head was old. Soap dispenser wasn't working properly.

Our original booking at the Forte do Vale got changed by the hotel due to an unforeseen damage to the room after the storm of the previous night. However they put us in their beach club hotel which offered even better sea view. We were looked after by a group of friendly staff. We had lots of choices for eating out, and all attractions were close by.

The menu for dinner (we had booked half board) became very repetitive. Also, coincidentally, some of our stay periods were affected by rain and wind. 😞

Interior, bedrooms & food were excellent . Staff were extremely friendly & work very hard to make a memorable holiday.

Pool area needs to be upgraded. Several guests fell during our time there. Pool area is very compact & crowded. People reserving beds early morning & not turning up throughout the day. Nighttime entertainment isn’t great.

Really big spacious apartment. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast options were great. Location was great. Walkable to beach and old town. Good holiday for a last minute trip we booked!

Decor was definitely quite tired in places. Sofa in our apartment was very uncomfortable and oven and kitchen area was old and rusty in many places. Definitely wouldn't agree with the 5 star rating it states. Although the hotel lists the all inclusive as having multiple restaurants to eat at, it's not explained that you will only have 3 options for dinner in the off season rather than the 15 options it advertises. This should be clearer before booking I feel. We ate at the mixed grill one night and it wasn't good. So opted to have the buffet at the hotel each night instead, which was good. Just wasn't fantastic.

The location - mid-way between Old Town/The beach/The Strip..ideal for my needs. Terrific, clean and spacious apartment, with all the facilities I need. Staff at the reception desk and Management are really helpful, friendly and professional. Cleaners are exceptional. Quality restaurant and bar facilities are a helpful optional extra. I wish to express my thanks to all staff at Muthu Forte do Vale.

I stay here pretty much every year, and have found no faults. Any minor problems have been dealt with quickly and efficiently by the outstanding team

Staff - really friendly and helpful Food - excellent quality and choice Rooms - spacious and good air conditioning plus decent size kitchen with large fridge/freezer Hotel - well laid out, modern and spacious Gym - very good and plenty of equipment Indoor pool - didn't use, but looked decent Location - we felt it was perfect. Only a 10 min walk to the beach/Strip and closer to the Old Town

Pool - was nice, but all same depth (1.43m) so no deep/shallow end ie no variation. Pool area - around the trees was a lot of litter amongst the white rocks which was unsightly Shower - low pressure and a decent shower is something I always look for

Fantastic hotel, lovely staff and spacious and clean well air conditioned rooms. The pool is also exceptionally clean and it has a nice bar. I will be back.

Nice place…. Good location…. You can walk to old town Albufeira quite easily .
