That was my 5th time at the Auramar Beach Resort and not the last. It feels like coming home. We got a room with a breathtaking view and balcony. The stuff everywhere is so nice and friendly!

The christmas dinner was with table service and timed. so a lot of people where at the same time at the restaurant. The stuff had a lot of work to do, it was very loud (not so good for hypersensitive people like me) and the behavior of the English people was really disgusting. But that’s no problem from the hotel.

Lovely staff, everything nice and clean, good sized rooms, decent air con, great food (selection and quality), amazing location next to brilliant beach and not a long walk along the beach to Albufeira, excellent swimming pool, the entertainment in the day was excellent and given Albufeira has a reputation as a rowdy party destination it’s very removed from this culture (no rowdy groups or no noise could be heard from the strip) and makes an excellent place to stay to enjoy the Algarve.

Nothing. The staff clearly work exceptionally hard to make the hotel a fantastic experience.

British - Under 40 - Family of 3, with a 6 month old - All Incusive - 7 night stay The staff were amazing and the views were spectacular from every inch of the property. A walk along the beach into the old town is highly recommended and the beach is a stone's throw away. The seafront is quite cliffy in spots which is the only reason this isn't considered an on the beach property. The walk to the beach from the breakfast hall takes 2mins and 15 sevonds, I timed it. We went off season so kids faculties were closed but 4 pools, 3 of which are outdoor, 1 of which is the children's and one heated indoor pool, a spa and table games room, on site shop, tennis courts, ping pong table pool table, entertainment staff and free shuttle buses into old town, there was still loads to do to fill up our week. Food was highly seasoned, looked ok, but tasted great! Such a variety. And I can safely say they don't scrimp on the ingredients either. I've never been to an all inclusive resort at this price which served duck and lamb, well cooked at that. Not just full of Brits abroad either. A Lot of Spanish families on holiday and an eclectic mix of couples from around the world. The reps keep a smile on your face even when the weather's not too great. The pressure and temperature of the showers was 10/10. The property is not very modern but has been modernized where it matters. Connect to the WiFi once and you have it on the entire property, which is massive. Honestly, the pictures don't do it justice. I thought the driver had the wrong hotel when I pulled up for how much I paid!!! All in all would highly recommend this resort as a value for money get away. The only one thing I can complain about was that the accessibility for prams or wheelchair users was not great. There are so many stairs on the property. BUT it's easily remedied if you ask to be put in Block C.

Needs more slopes and lifts for prams and wheelchair users.

The weather was very nice for February. We arrived around 1pm and given armbands so we could get lunch because rooms are not ready until 3pm. We stayed for nine nights and only had two wet days. The hotel is built on the side of a hill and it does say not good for people with walking disabilities but by walking to different parts of the hotel it is possible to walk around using the lifts so you do not have to use the stairs but you do need to go outside. Adult games are arranged during the day which help to meet new people. The food is good and hot and you can get a hot plate to put it on. The only down side is they only supply two soup varieties we found. My wife and myself had a very nice holiday and I can not see any reasons not to go back

Our room could do with an update

We had an amazing time! The staff were fabulous. We were traveling with our one-year-old, and the waiting staff at both breakfast and dinner were absolutely incredible. We were also celebrating my husband's birthday, and they organised a cake and champagne for our room — such a thoughtful touch that made our stay even more special. The location is great, with a free shuttle bus to the old town three times a day — so convenient! The food was excellent, with plenty of choices. If you can’t find something you like, there might be something wrong with you! :D

Have to say read some not so good reviews online after making the booking and was 50/50 on what the hotel is actually like but I have to say from the moment we arrived we had an amazing time...the staff were so nice and even had a snack bag for us as we were late and missed the food on arrival...Insirdo at reception was very helpful and made us feel very welcome from the start. Facilities were not 5 star but who cares you get what you pay for and the stunning views and location make up for anything lacking. The pool buffet and all the entertainment was top class and the staff really do give it there all to make you feel relaxed. Would recomend to anyone to try this spot out and go all inclusive if you can...big thanks to Fatima paola insirdo and all the staff ...will be back as soon as possible for sure! Great sea view from the room and the restaurant. The hotel rooms, communal areas, and outdoor grounds were all clean. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. The buffet and snack bar offered a good selection, catering well to the fussy eaters in our large group. The variety of vegan options was a pleasant surprise. Entertainment was enjoyable for both kids and adults, and the sports activities were excellent for teens. Hotel staff are all friendly and helpful. Especially the restaurant staff are very kind and polite and super efficient. They are on the go constantly clearing plates off and cleaning and preparing tables all the while with a smile. Overall, great value for money.

The room décor is dated, and the transom window allows too much light from the corridor, undermining the effectiveness of the blackout curtains. Some of the rooms have a sliding door in between that could help with this issue but the room we were in did not have the sliding door. The wellness facilities open at 9:00 AM, but earlier access from 6:00 AM would be ideal for early risers.

We had a great holiday in a lovely hotel. The food in the restaurant was extremely good and varied although not as impressive in the pool bar, very samey. The room was large, comfortable and it was kept very clean. The entertainment was hit and miss, when it was good it was excellent but some nights it was lacklustre. All in all the good greatly outweighed the bad.

The hotel information didn't include how many steps there were between the reception area and the swimming pool. As my husband has some mobility problems it would have been helpful to know about them beforehand.

We got a great last-minute deal on this hotel and loved the location! We enjoyed having access to both the beach and the pool. We opted for the "Breakfast Included" option and, unless that is the same price as the not included option, I would skip it and go breakfast elsewhere. Our room was fine/clean... we weren't expecting anything fancy given the great deal we got. We would come back here if we found ourselves in Albufeira again.

The breakfast was just OK but we had been spoiled by the hotel where we had stayed in Lisbon.
