This is the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at and thus holiday we have ever had - we received an upgrade upon check-in to a room high up overlooking the town and beach. We had a bottle of wine, fruit platter, biscuits and other treats waiting for us in our room. The staff are incredible and go out of their way to assist you and make you feel like royalty - from the front of house, to the cleaners, to the hotel manager, all are just wonderful. The beds are superb, the hotel is equipped with anything you could need - they have daily champagne along with snacks, juice and coffee/tea available all the time in the foyer. A daily turn down brings chocolate and next day weather reports which is so lovely. They delivered a bottle of champagne to us on our last night to say goodbye which was a wonderful treat before we left. We received very late check out due to our flight being late which in my experience is unheard of, and we were so very grateful. I couldn’t recommend this hotel more and you won’t regret booking here.

Nothing it was all perfect

This was the first time to Albufeira with my partner and we would 10/10 recommend. You can tell they have renovated the front part of the hotel which is older, but it was nicely done, clean, and provided the best views. The staff was above and beyond helpful. The owner personally introduced himself (his name escapes me) and Gabriel, a gentleman on staff went above and beyond to check in on us during our stay. The property itself is large with some great little spots to hang and there are several restaurants within walking distance.

The location is the best in Algarve that you can get. The interiors and ambience was beautiful. Lobby lounge was perfect with refreshments and our apartment was right on the beach with an amazing view of the ocean. The staff was great - offered us a pillow menu and surprised us with home made chocolates in the evening.

Nothing. Everything was good. Just wanted to stay longer.

We decide to extend our family holidays for another week because all facilities, location , quality is just perfect. Everything you need for family holidays Monicca provides. Special thanks to Cyntia, Joanna and Nazar front desk staff with all help provided all 2 weeks we stayed. Excellent.

Absolutely nothing

Location. Interior design, facilities, comfort and cleanliness of both Reception and suites. The property is set on a peninsula affording stunning views of sunrise which exuded a most incredible golden glow into the small bay (with beach cafe) to the East. Later in the evening on the West aspect of the apartment the large terrace allowed us to witness beautiful sunsets over Oura Beach. Separate adult and children pools. Well manicured gardens adorned with beautiful flora and fauna, spectacular ancient trees and younger palms. An interesting abundance marble sculptures decorated the gardens. All these were delicately lit at night to still experience their beauty. However, the most important aspect of this trip was the outstanding Customer Service afforded to us by Roger, Juan, Belen, Nazar and Rodrigue. Nothing was too much and a complimentary dinner gifted to us to celebrate our Birthday girl. This high standard of service was also delivered in the daily servicing of the rooms.

The manager Roger at the front desk was a very dedicated and hard working individual whose attention to detail was exemplary. A constant supply of cold juices and shortbread in the foyer was greatly appreciated. His team also were faultless in all their duties and polite and friendly. It's position in relation to beaches and an amazing beach bar was ideal for us to finally stop and relax after what had been a busy a few weeks. Thank you.

We had a brilliant stay here. Staff was super polite and friendly. We felt very welcome. We stayed at the NY's Eve and even got a surprise in our fridge - a bottle of champagne, which was very thoughtful. We had a wonderful sea view terrace, it was very spacious with a table and two sun loungers. Beautiful view! Great location as well. A few beautiful beaches right at the doorstep. Thanks so much!

The GM, Roger went over and above to ensure that we had a great week. The deluxe one bedroom suite was spacious, comfortable, stylish and spotlessly clean. We had housekeeping and turn down service each day which ensured that we had access to clean towels and fresh sheets. Beach towels were complimentary and after a day at the pool/beach, we enjoyed a glass (or two) of sparkling wine and cakes/nibbles - this was all complimentary and part of the VIP services available to clients staying at the Monicca Collection Suites and Residences. On arrival at the residence, there was a bottle of wine and bowl of fruit awaiting us - to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary, this along with other little surprises during the week that we stayed there.The All Inclusive package could be arranged on a daily basis which meant we had the option of eating at some fab restaurants in the Old Town of Albufeira.

Not all of the restaurants included in the All Inclusive package were available during the time that we were there - not peak season? Maintenance at the swimming pool closest to our residence was being carried out which meant we could only use the larger pool near Jacks restaurant. We did not enjoy the food served at the restaurants - mainly because we do not enjoy buffet arrangements - quality of the food at the Me Ivan restaurant we felt was poor.

The location is wonderful. You can see the horizon of the sea right from your balcony. The beach is adjoining the hotel and you can just walk there. There is a wonderful beachside cafe in the beach. The collection of dishes offered in the breakfast is awesome and delicious!

Amazing location right at the beach. This property is part of the bigger MGM group properties in this area. But a small part of the huge MGM property is this - and treated as the VIP section of the bigger property. The staff was amazing, especially Sumit and Steven made our stay delightful. Must visit.
