Location is just outside Albufeira, so it's relatively quiet but parking in the street can be challenging as there are many apartment buildings around. The 1-room apartment we got was nice and spacious, no complains. Prices at the pool bar are reasonable with a happy hour from 4-6pm

All sunbeds are reserved starting at 7.30-8.00 am by guests who clearly can't be bothered by the hotel rules. The hotel personnel should take this seriously and remove towels, books, etc from people who leave their stuff and go somewhere else for hours. The apartment did not have a dishwasher, otherwise the kitchen was nicely equipped Room service came at inconvenient hours (3-4pm), they should do the cleaning in the morning or lunch time at the latest.

The room is basically a one-bed apartment with a living room and kitchen. It’s huge. The balcony and sea view is stunning. The space itself is absolutely perfect. The hotel grounds also have pretty much everything - pools, gym, jacuzzi, deck, snack bars, etc. It’s just a few steps away from the beach. And the staff is so wonderful! Overall, it’s a great hotel and great space!

It’s a bit far from “downtown,” so it takes some effort to get to where the “action” is (if that’s your thing), or where the main beach is. Also, Albufeira as a whole was not impressive to me. That has nothing to do with the hotel, tho. For Albufeira, this is a great stay.

3 bedroom & 3 bathroom spacious Villa opposite hotel, tucked away in a busy location, close to beach. Very clean. Good AC. Wifi worked in living room. Nice terrace. Hot tub. Good showers. Good basic kitchen. Could use hotel pool. Near a couple of nice beach restaurants & basic supermarkets. Uber’s ready & waiting & cheap.

More shaders on terrace. The Villa can take 6 adults but just one shader. Couldn’t eat outside too hot and no shade near table. Could have added a few more items like dishwasher tablets, cooking oil, salt & pepper. We had to ask for an iron & ironing board and carry it across the road. Very close to The Strip - yes the 4am bars - my teens loved it but it’s not everyone’s cup of tea!!

This place was perfect. Sooo close to the beach, the apartment itself was beautiful, clean, super spacious. Staff was kind and helpful and they do their best to make everything easy!

This resort is a family resort and they do a great job of ensuring it’s quiet and there is no partying. Nearby though, there are other hotels that had many partying people and the noise carries. But seriously, don’t let this dissuade you unless you are a super fussy sleeper. A little white noise fixed it right up!!!

The apartment was spotless and the cleaners came daily to refresh towels and put fresh sheets on the beds. The pool was a lovely size and generally always somewhere to sit / lounge. The made such an effort with our little boy, the pool and bar staff were super attentive and always made an effort to interact. The shallow pool was also great for our little one, as the water was a lot warmer due to its shallow depth. There is also a small coffee machine in the room as well as receiving a welcome bag with some basic goodies on arrival ( milk, biscuits etc)

My only dislike really was the lack of enforcement around smoking rules. There are signs around the pool to state no smoking, which most adhere too. But the staff don’t seem to enforce it as much as they should and some guests are totally disrespectful towards the rules and others that are there to enjoy a smoke free area.

Lovely and charming apartment with all the amenities and 2 a/c situated only a few minutes walking distance from the beach. Small complex so you feel recognized by staff and consequently never too overcrowded by the pool area which is also lovely with its own snack bar and fun drinks and cocktails.

We loved everything however take note the walk from the beach is up hill as is the walk once at the complex , depending on your unit. Walk from pool is also up 1-4 flights of stairs depending on your unit. *Our unit’s ocean view was quite limited.

This is our second time visiting and we will be back next year. Perfect location to the beach and some beautiful restaurants and beach bars right on the doorstep. Still within short distance to new town and only a taxi away from old town. Facilities are excellent and spotless clean and the staff couldn't do enough for you ( Particular mention to Gina who always looks after us-Thank You Gina) Pool bar is the best for a snack and a drink and not over priced like some we've been to Thanks again Golden Beach we'll see you next year!

To be honest I don't want to say any negatives as we had such a good stay, but just for those with any mobility issues there are a lot of steps and its situated on a hill which will not suit everyone's needs

Apartments were very clean and spacious , Fresh towels were provided every day and cleaning staff turned down beds daily . Staff are all friendly and helpful. The food and drinks available poolside were tasty and the music vibe was chilled.There was live music on Saturday. You can leave luggage in luggage hold and there is a great facility to shower and change if your flight is after check out time.You are offered towels and full use of facilities while you wait. There is a lovely Italian- italian republic a two minute walk away. Clay oven is an excellent Indian restaurant if you fancy a walk and a really good meal. If you are booking taxi from the airport I would advise to do it through booking.com for a better price. ( 35 versus 65)

The “strip” was a little too close for my liking. It’s entertaining to go to through once or twice but tacky and overwhelming .Good bars either end of it though for live music. Apartments were quiet and safe despite the close proximity to nightlife and there was security at night.

Our hotel stay was great. We had a nice room with a decent view of the ocean and two patio areas. The pool and pool bar were lovely. Our room was thoroughly cleaned each day with fresh towels. The location was excellent, right next to the beach and close to the main strip but not too close so it was still quiet.

I wish they'd change the cocktail of the day, it remained the same for x3 days in a row. Also cocktail of the day happy hour price still seemed high.

We were in the Marbelo Villa. LOVED the view and proximity to the beach. Patio and hot tub made our stay even more relaxing. Hotel pool was nearby as well. Next door to a great selection of restaurants, bakery, coffee shop, grocery store,etc.

We thought we'd be able to utilize the hotel parking but it wasn't available (full). We had to use street parking but thankfully were always able to find a spot.
