A comfortable hotel in an excellent location. It's close to the city and the beach. The room is small but comfortable, very clean. A major plus for me was the availability of parking and a pool (a swim cap is required for the pool and can be purchased at the reception). The hotel is situated in a quiet area, yet it's only a 5-minute walk to the bustling center of Albufeira with its lively bars and restaurants. There is also a restaurant and a terrace with a fantastic ocean view. The breakfast is very good, but if you have it late, you might have to wait as there may not be seating available in the restaurant.

Good breakfast, great location with easy access to the Fisherman's beach. Staff friendly. Highlight was the viewing point to see the New Year's fireworks and drone display.

The sea view was partly obscured by the roof of the restaurant and the central protruding stairwell blocked views west. No fresh orange juice, which in a 4 star hotel in the Algarve is unforgivable. Very difficult parking. Rooms were remodelled but not to true 4 star level.

The hotel was nice and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bar/restaurant area had a lovely balcony with seats overlooking the beach. The hotel was only a ten minute walk from the old town where we spent most of our time. It was full of restaurants and bars with live music on at night time.

Our room had no balcony which we didn’t know at the time of booking. We did ask to change but we were going to have to pay an extra 60 euro per night. You also had to pay extra to use the room safe. It wasn’t expensive but should be included in the price.

Breakfast was excellent a fabulous selection the staff were friendly helpful and very attentive the hotel is beautiful and a short walk to oldtown

The only thing was the access to the beach for anyone with mobility issues the steps are outa

Location, cleanliness, staff. Restaurant was surprisingly good. Amazing views. Comfortable beds and linens, spotless. Direct beach access, plenty of beach clubs. Breakfast was included and very good, plenty of options and good quality fruits, etc.

The bedroom was good but not updated for electronics; only one place to charge our phones. Tv was a bit small but no one comes to such a beautiful place to watch tv anyways

Good breakfast selection. Exceptionally clean hotel. Great restaurant on the roof with fantastic views over the beach. Staff great. The detergent used on bedding and towels smells amazing and the extractor fans are near to the entrance, it smells lovely as you are walking up to the place!

There was one man on reception who was a little rude to us. I've no idea why - we just assumed he was German as he was nice to all of our German friends, just not us. Oh well.

The property is excellent and the staff are welcoming and helpful. Situated in an ideal area just on the outskirts of the Old Town which is a pleasurable walk. The beech is clean and can be accessed via the hotel. The best food is in the hotel restaurant and the service is outstanding. The view from the room was outstanding. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for a perfect stay.

One improvement would be tea/coffee facilities in the room but the restaurant do provide a very good latte and the breakfast is amazing.

Location was superb. Right on the beach and a few minutes walk to the old town. All staff we encountered were well groomed, well trained and very efficient

Would have liked tea making facilities in the room rather than three oranges that were going furry by the end of the week

This is a lovely little informal hotel. Spent 2 nights here after visiting the north of the area and was a lovely end to our break. The room overlooked the beautiful albufeira beach and was quiet and peaceful. The rooms, although a little dated and with tiny balcony, were adequate and spotlessly clean. Definitely worth paying a little extra for a sea view room - would not fancy any of the rooms with hotel wall views. Lovely reception area with really friendly staff. There is no outdoor pool, only an indoor pool, which may be a bit of a pain in peak season. However, the indoor spa pool was absolutely beautiful and we were the only ones using it which was a bonus. There is a lovely solarium/ terrace with bar on the 3rd floor with again beautiful views along the coast...was such a treat to sit there and have lunch and a drink and in the evening they put on some light entertainment as well. Less mobile may struggle with the fact it is up a slight incline to get to the front entrance, and the direct access to the beach at the back had quite a few steps to negotiate but nevertheless a great little find, a short stroll along to the escalators or along the beach to get to the main town. Will definitely recommend and hopefully be back in the future.

The best are in Albufeira for me. Its close to old city and when you go out its already by the beach. The beach area is so perfect for sunset and the view of the old town from there is amazing. It is also not too far from the new town or the strip which is like 15 mins walk. You will enjoy walking there with neighborhood .
