Stayed for a week, family of 4. Room was very comfortable, loads of space and we found our room to be very quiet at night. Theres a few big groups of hen and stag do's but we found them very respectful of families and facilities. Pool was good. Very clean.

Entrance and reception is a bit dull, no bar really apart from pool bar, location is a bit awkward particularly if you have any mobility issues, no activities for kids and little to no interaction or help from reception staff. Breakfast is good but no variety so if you're staying longer than 3 days it does get a bit samey.

Great spot for a longer time stay. Close to amenities but tucked away from the busier tourist crowd and noise. Nice little kitchen, great amenities nearby. Not a lot of added details, kitchen was very basic, no dish soap, sponge, coffee filters. No ice in the fridge or trays, no ice machine , bar wanted € 2 for a cup of ice. No swimming in pool without cap, small charge to purchase. We froze ice in coffee cups, left paper towels and soap for dishes. Not sure they will be there for the next guest. Housekeeping ladies were lovely

Lovely hotel and they gave us a brilliant big room, loved the indoor pool facilities and also the outdoor. Close enough to the old town for us to walk in and out but also cheap in an Uber if we didn’t feel like walking

We booked this hotel as they said they don’t accommodate stag or hen parties, however about halfway through the holiday the place was swarmed with a massive stag party of maybe 30 or more men who were very loud and rowdy and honestly ruined our holiday. It was such a shame as the hotel is lovely but after that I’d be afraid to go back. Also wouldn’t recommend eating at the pool bar.

We had a pleasant stay at The Navigator - Solaqua. The location is excellent — close to both the old town and the beach, which made getting around very easy. A special mention to the breakfast lounge team, who were always cheerful and welcoming, making mornings more enjoyable

The room was fine overall, clean and functional, though for the price we expected a bit more in terms of amenities and finish. The staff were generally helpful but not great engagement from reception desk staff. Simple things like offering advice on things to do, or the surrounding location, would be easy to provide and enhance the overall experience. Many, many signs about leaving towels on loungers early in the morning then not using them, struggle to get loungers by the pool, nice chap dug some out for us on the first day, used the towel trick thereafter as everyone else was.

Beautiful maintained hotel , clean and close to nightlife, cafes and restaurants . Awesome pool

Paying 9 euros for an Aperol spritz everyday (and asked for extra Aperol) on my 3rd day there new bar tender asked for $18 euros for the extra shot Aperol when I was paying $9 euros from the beginning ! Called the manager who was lovely and rectified it by apologising and giving me back the change !

We loved the cleanliness and comfort of the apartment. Location is around a ten minute walk from the old town. The pool area is lovely. Bed was very clean and comfortable. Cleaning staff are exceptionally friendly, (going as far as cleaning my partner's foot after he walked on glass).

Reception staff are not so friendly (a polite smile or hello would make a difference). We were given a ground floor apartment which faced a wall, and had no sun. When we asked to be changed we were given a blunt 'No' even though the place was not at full capacity. I suggest double checking where your apartment is allocated.

Excellent location, great swimming pool, extremely comfortable beds, lovely balcony, cocktail of the day for cheaper - we would definitely come back here!

Of course this type of place attracts stag parties which can’t be helped! The staff were around to ask them to keep their drinks away from the pool though

Ideally located between the old and new town with a big supermarket right beside it. Very spacious and clean. Studio apartment was good. Air con worked well. Good pool area with plenty of beds and umbrellas; thankfully no lad rush to claim a bed! No stag/hen parties the week we were there so nice feeling about the place with lots of families and couples enjoying their holiday.

No vigilance at pool area- a few drinking in pool but didn’t impact really. Zero cleaning products in the kitchenette - a lot of other hotels just give a small pack of basics which is a nice touch. Perhaps this is something the new owners (presume this is the case as it’s transitioning from Luna Solaqua to The Navigator Solaqua). Bar is very quiet and it’s quite expensive with €5 for a pint.

It was a gorgeous property! Pool was lovely, enough sun loungers, good location 10 min walk to beach & old town. Very clean and rooms cleaned everyday, good value for money when booking compared to alot of hotels and rooms Very spacious all with balcony!

We stayed at front of hotel where the hotel next door was people shouting and singing on balcony’s all night, not the hotels fault but something to note as I seen a few others said it too! And the hotel bar was a bit dead for drinks (8€ for can of koppaerberg 3.80 for crisps )Other then that likes everything!

Indoor Pool was awesome as the outdoor pool was very cold. The Bar was spacious and clean. The house keeping team was amazing and kept the rooms spotless.

The outdoor pool was so cold, I know this is because of the time of year but heating the pool would help with this. The indoor pool made up for it though.
