Accommodation spacious clean and tidy. The whole complex is well keep. Staff friendly and helpful.

Having to pay 15 Euro with a 25 Euro deposit for a lock to fit the security box in the wardrobe! Otherwise it is just a steel cupboard. Indoor pool was freezing.

Everything. The apartments were also very well equipped, spacious and comfortable.

I am elderly and we did not have a car with us. As the site is quite a long way from the shops, supermarkets or ATM machine and the apartments are self-catering, I felt the shop on site could have stocked more in the way of basic provisions which would have saved us having to hire taxis.

Our fourth visit to Colina Village in a period spanning over a decade. The accommodation is basic but comfortable. The pool area is nice to relax with an open air bar and a restaurant which serves breakfast, all day lunch options and dinner in the evening. It makes for a pleasant setting and the one thing that stands out how friendly and helpful all of the staff which really makes a difference. Colina Village is also only 5 minutes from Carvoeiro town centre where there is an excellent selection of shops and restaurants and they'll arrange a taxi for you quickly at the main reception.

One of two areas are probably overdue a bit of a spruce up but I can't say there was anything that bothered us in any way during our stay.

The rooms were very clean and cosy. Had extra pillows and blankets.

There was no WiFi in the room, WiFi only works near the reception area. The TV's was not working well due to poor connectivity or signal. There was no hair dryer in the bathroom, you need to get it from the reception.

The apartment was very spacious and the kitchen was great for self catering. We had everything we needed for a family of 4. It was kept very clean and our towels were changed regularly. The pool was large and we could usually get a sun lounger if we went mid morning. The staff were always kind and very helpful and great with young children. There’s bread and milk and water you can buy from inside the restaurant and a few water toys. Reception was very helpful and called a taxi if needed but we found Ubers much cheaper to the town centre. Taxi 8 euros compared to Uber 4. Definitely worth downloading the app if you don’t have it beforehand. The pool snack bar had a good selection of premium spirits and cocktails for around 7-9 euros. We would consider staying at Colina Village again we loved our stay.

I only wish we could have walked from Colina Village to the centre of town. It’s not the distance that’s the problem it’s the road. There’s no pavement and it really wasn’t safe to be walking 4 of us. An on sight mini supermarket would be a great addition for self caterers but there’s a huge intermarche you can get an Uber too not far away.

We paid for half board and found the dinners to be better than the breakfast. We had a 3 course meal each evening which we enjoyed although I will say it wasn't quite the standard we experienced at other restaurants around albufeira but it was what we expected for a 3 star hotel. The shuttle bus into carvoeiro was definitely worth doing. There's a lovely little bar/cafe overlooking the beach where we enjoyed a smoothie and a milkshake. Also loads of shops and restaurants. The pool was good and we also enjoyed the indoor pool as an escape from the sun at times.

Breakfast was scrambled egg, bacon, toast, cereal, croissant and yoghurt which was adequate but I would say not as good as other hotels I've had breakfast at. Air con only worked in one bedroom so the heat was pretty unbearable most of the time. The fridge also wasn't very cold.

The village is clean, very nice and well cared. There are beautiful plants. The staff in the restaurant and in the office is very friendly and helpful. Our appartment was big and comfortable.

The kitchen equipment was not that good, the cooker in der kitchen didn't work well, There are only a few electricity plugs in the appartment, in the bathroom even none. The bathroom is not quite modern.

You know everything about this place? Is lovely quiet well-maintained fabulous huge swimming pool outside bar and restaurant. Just out of the way of Carvoeiro but not too far. Comfortable apartment with pretty much everything you need.

Think it may be time for a bit of a makeover mainly in the apartment a freshl paint and some upgrades. Lots of wooden furniture which is now giving it that musty wood smell. But still really pleasant.

The apartment was a great size, the bathroom was big as well as the living room. Kitchen had the basic stuff for cooking, served us well. The WiFi does not work well in the rooms. The pool was great, my daughter has a blast. Staff was very accommodating and welcoming. We were a group of 3 young ladies and a 6yo girl, we felt safe and well accommodated in this property.

The property was clean, and was regularly serviced. A quiet location which we wanted. The swimming pools were excellent. The play area equipment has been upgraded and our girls loved it. New flooring and the new slide of note. Also the tennis area had also been upgraded with new surfaces. The site seems to be being improved this year 2023. The signs were being replaced as we left. Intermarche supermarket is 5 minutes away by car which also has washing and drying facilities, which with kids is a must!! Overall we were very happy with our stay.

In the obvious ongoing work the interior, especially the beds are still needing tlc, they are hard as mentioned in many posts. This is the area that could be improved. As an aside a supply of travel cots would be beneficial. Also more general wifi across the apartments and not just around reception would be useful and of great value for those looking to be digital nomads. However an esim from Meo gives 4G+ at this location 30gb for €15 is great value which can be purchased online. A car is essential in our opinion to make best use of this location.
