The location is fabulous. Spacious accommodation - 2 bed garden villa. Fabulous rooftop terrace with a sea view was an added bonus. Grounds were beautiful. Fresh towels were delivered every two days, and bedsheets were changed during our 10-day stay. Adequate air con in the living area and bedrooms also.

Some more onsite options for eating out would be great. Housekeeping was quite good during our stay. However, a little more attention could really improve the experience. Floors and table tops appeared grubby on arrival. The location is a little remote, but ubers are so easy to use there. Extra fee for the gym if you don't book accommodation directly. Seems unnecessary. However, it is reasonably priced.

Rocha Brava Village is very beautiful, safe and the staff is very friendly. It had many pools, sometimes even for just ourselves, which was very relaxing. It's nearby to many other attractions and beaches, which allowed us to explore freely.

While the place was good overall there's a few things that need to be mentioned. The kitchen utensils were poorly cleaned when we arrived, this might have been just a punctual mistake, since everything else was properly cleaned. The bars and restaurants and mini market, which are part of the resort, are obscenely expensive, it's better to go literally somewhere else (5-10m) away and you will pay 30% for the same items.

I rented a 1 bedroom self catering apartment in the resort and it was absolutely devine. It was very spacious with everything I needed. It consisted of a fully stocked kitchen with oven, stove top, fridge, microwave and washing machine. It had an open plan lounge / dining room with aircon / heater with a big balcony and stunning views of the sea and sun shining in all day. The 1 bedroom had 2 super comfortable single beds and a cupboard and aircon/heater and hair dryer station. The bathroom has bath and shower and basin as well as a heater. Water pressure was great and warm. The resort itself was very quiet, it's was so peaceful and welcome break. It has 3 outdoor pools, an indoor pool, tennis courts, table tennis tables scattered all over in the beautiful gardens and much more. I enjoyed a delicious breakfast and the best cappuccino at the coffee shop on site. The store on site was also well stocked and I was able to buy all the groceries I needed for the 5 nights stay. Reception staff were super friendly and knowledgeable about the area and spoke good English. There are stunning walks from the resort along the cliff tops and sea with the most amazing views and sunsets. Cannot wait to be back.

The grounds were beautifully kept with loads of facilities in terms of pools, tennis courts, gym, mini golf, table tennis etc., but not all were as they appeared. The location is stunning, with direct access to the Seven Hanging Valleys trail from the property. Loads of parking and pretty quiet in the evenings. Loads of activities to do around with the highlight being the caves. Worth doing a tour of some sort while you are there.

The area surrounding the Rocha Brava Village resort is stunning, sitting up on the cliffs, but it is a little isolated. Nothing significant is within walking distance. While the apartment was satisfactory, I did not like the layout with the kitchen separate to the rest of the apartment and an awkward set-up with the fridge right behind the door. We had a few 'clashes' during our stay. I also found the apartment very dark. The main pool is not kid-friendly at all. The depth starts at 1.2m, which was just about okay for my 7 year old. It is not built for families with young kids. I did plan to use the gym, but looking at the very limited equipment, I didn't think the €9 per session was worth it. The restaurant was lovely with great staff, but very expensive.

This resort is ideally located along a cliff near Carvoeiro. Our accommodations were an upper floor one bedroom condo, complete with all amenities. A lovely private balcony was a great place to spend evenings. We spent a lot of time at the main pool, which was refreshingly cold and clean for the hot days. Great meals, friendly staff and a well stocked grocery store caused everything off. We walked around the property past apartments, homes, villas and enjoyed the beautiful landscaping

As you would expect in a resort with a poolside cafe the prices were pretty high.

Well laid out and beautifully landscaped self contained resort with a small, heated, covered pool, larger unheated pools and tennis courts etc. The properties are a little dated but still very nice, clean and very well equiped. There's an onsite Restaurant which we did not visit but other restaurants just out side the site including the ever excellent Jardim do Frol. Close to many lovely beaches and the pretty twn of Cavoiero. The resort offers a shuttle service to the latter which is very convenient although a later slot would be helpul. Ample onsite parking outside most residences. Will almost certainly be back gain.

Poolside bar/cafe is quite expensive.

Other restaurants just out side both entrances to the site more casual but also good. Houses with sea views well worth booking for the great views. Ample onsite parking outside most residences.

Uk TV channels not consistently available during the stay. Water turned off by local water company two mornings during the week for repairs. Only notification a message on reception window. Two supermarkets. One on site at main entrance quite expensive. Second a Spar just outside rear entrance better value. Best for a bigger shop is the international hypermarket on the way into/ out of Carvoeiro but you need a car. Resort is quite difficult to find. Would recommend first timers to take a taxi from Faro Airport ( Approx 50 Km ) and hire a car in the resort reception.

Beautiful resort, nature, swimming pools, close to the ocean. Low buildings area. Reception available 24h which is very comfortable for the late flights.

High prices in the local supermarkets in the resort compared to the supermarkets in the city ( Laboa or Carvoeiro).

Lovely garden area with ground floor 2 bedroom apt. Good size kitchen, living room and bedrooms. Air con worked very well. Kitchen was well equipped and fridge was a good size. Pool is a decent size with lots of shaded sun beds. Staff really friendly, polite and helpful. Ideal family resort.

Additional expenses for the safe seemed unreasonable. Gym was extra cost at €9 per visit, but has no air com. On site cafe and pool bar were expensive.

This place is quiet and friendly. There are 4 pools on site ranging from the big main one to three smaller pools very close to accommodation areas. The balcony was large with a big table and plenty of chairs allowing for relaxed BBQ evenings. Rocha brava is located within walking distance of our two favourite beaches in Algarve - Centianes and Carvalho. There's two coffee shops on site, a restaurant and two more just outside the gate - all are good. You'll probably need a car to get the most benefit as it is not located close to town. Frankly it was a perfect choice for us.

the bathroom area was a little "old" - perhaps the shower needs an upgrade but it was very clean and well maintained so no real criticism.
