This property in the midst of a village is very nice. I have stayed at a different Village on the other side of Carvoeiro but this is about a third of the price and very pleasant. Although it has a private pool, they are not heated and more of a splash pool. However, the rooms upstairs and downstairs are lovely, including the bathrooms and powerful showers. Kitchen has coffee machine and all the utilities. You could expect a lovely pleasant stay

Property is a bit outside Carvoeiro although I always have a car, which makes this no problem. Nothing really not to like about this place.

Why does the shower in the rear bedroom not have the facility to hang the shower head from the wall ? The front bedroom with the shower cubicle was perfect but over the bath in the rear bathroom we had to rig up our own set up. At this price point this is not good enough. Very Very frustrating. Get a handyman in there to do this please. Also pool was not cleaned when we arrived and we had to ask the following morning to get this done. It was sorted by the time we came home from a day out but it should have been clean on arrival. Staff in reception lovely. we stayed in no 15.

Everything about Vale de Milho Village lived up to, or exceeded, our expectations. I travelled here with my wife for a 2 week break and from the very moment we arrived we were impressed. Hugo greeted us at reception and provided us with a plethora of information and advice on what to do and see in the area, where to eat, and also good running routes. Hugo remained incredibly helpful throughout our stay and made everything relaxing for us. We got a 2 bedroom house, number 28, and feel like we got one of the best houses in the location. It was towards the end of the development, so was very quiet, we had a large garden too, which allowed us to place the sun loungers to the side of the pool when the sun was making its way around during the day. We also had a great view of the sunset during the evening too, which was very enjoyable from the bedroom balcony. The private pool really capped off the stay for us. Not having to worry about getting a sun lounger, like you would in a hotel, was ideal. While the pool isn't heated, it only takes about 5 seconds to get used to it once you jump in. We were there for the last 2 weeks in September and the pool was still fine at that time of year. The house itself was much larger than I expected. A full kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, and fridge, for anyone who wanted to cook for themselves. The living and dining room was very bright and spacious with a great TV. The sofa isn't the most comfortable piece of furniture in the world but there was only 2 of us so it was more than adequate. The bedroom were massive, we only use the spare room to store our suitcases but it was plenty big to be used by another couple or a couple of kids. The main bedroom was great, it had a massive balcony with sunbeds/chairs and was ensuite with loads of wardrobe space and a safe. The bed was huge, I think my wife and I slept in separate postcodes while lying on it. The entire development is very quiet and people are friendly.

The only thing I didn't like was having to leave.

After a 6 day stay, our group of five can’t understand why Vale do Milho doesn’t have a 10 out of 10 score?! We LOVED the modern, huge, fully equipped condo and were sad to leave it. We were very comfortable there. The staff, Sandra and Andre did everything they could to insure we had a great experience and the cleaning staff did a fine job of cleaning our condo (unit #4). We would not hesitate staying in this gated community again and highly recommend it, to others.

Very comfortable and spacious properties. Extremely well equipped. Good sized outside area and pool, as well as several terraces. We particularly enjoyed the billiard table at the house we stayed at and had many enjoyable hours there in the evenings. The staff were excellent, very friendly and always willing to provide advice and assistance. I would definitely return.

Nothing negative to report. I would only say that a car is beneficial if you wish to travel around, go to the waterparks, visit different beaches and so on, however Ubers are readily available and are very good value.

The property is a stunning duplex with all the comfort of a home and plus. The private pool is fantastic plus for these properties. One definitely needs a car but The property is in a great location close to shops and restaurants , and the beautiful cliffs Very private, gated, Comfortable beds. great bathrooms, spacious kitchen with everything you need, fast speed Wifi, stunning pool, privacy, staff, location, cleanliness, attention to details and very secure residential gated place. we are already booing the next visit

Clean, modern and well equipped Town house with plenty of space and a nice pool.

Check in — We arrived at about 839pm/900pm due to flight/rental car/drive and we were locked out of the gate to drive into resort. After calling numbers given to me, ringing gate bell and phone number on gate for 20+ minutes, the security guard finally answered and said he would come let us in. 15 minutes after that he showed up and gave us our key, but could not answer any questions. Or didn’t have a tourism map in office etc,..We’ve lived in Europe for several years and never had a checkin like this. HOWEVER. Checkout was fast and easy!

Really fresh and modern property with private pool. Kitted out perfectly with lovely comfy beds, aircon and everything you need for a home-from-home stay. Beautiful, quiet location and very close to golf course. Short drive into Carvoeiro and to some wonderful beaches. Excellent supermarket just 5min drive away. Friendly and helpful advice about local places to visit from Hugo at reception - made us feel very welcome! Added bonus, lovely cat popped round to visit a couple times too!

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and there was generally a peaceful ambiance to the whole place.

I did manage to get myself locked out - as soon as the front door is closed, it is locked. The security guard quickly resolved this for me, but it was a little disturbing, as this was the morning I was going to the airport!

Villa was beautiful, beds really comfortable, staff where helpful and friendly. Maid's kept the villa immaculate. Would definitely recommend staying here

No washing machine in the villa, only machine is at reception. Gap in the hedges where your sunbeds are, so you have no privacy from the adjoining villas. I know it's for access for maintaining the gardens and pool but would have been better at the bottom of the garden
