It’s quiet and peaceful, the building itself has character and is beautifully decorated. Our room was very comfortable, spacious and very clean. Comfortable bed, pillows, sheets and blanket. All windows covered with mosquito nets so easy to sleep with the windows open and enjoy a nice breeze at night. But also AC available. Staff was very friendly and welcoming, would definitely come back and recommend!

Being used to Portuguese coffee, we were kinda sad about not having that kind of coffee available at breakfast or throughout the day. Just filter coffee. But it’s maybe more a personal preference.

Lovely pool area and gardens, quiet and good location for a trip to the algarve, close to shops, beaches & restaurants

Turn overs of the room could have been a little better for example the beds were often not re-made and tea bags weren’t replaced. The breakfast was a little basic with very bad coffee and one morning the milk was sour - definitely room for improvement with breakfast.

Traditional well kept Portuguese building. Tastefully decorated in a lovely sophisticated style. Surrounded by fruit trees flowers and fields. Christina the host is delightful and super helpful and maintains her high standards with her staff, casting a watchful eye making sure the guests are comfortable. The room with en-suite was clean, beds comfortable, decor of a period and charming. The swimming pool looked welcoming whilst we eat a lovely breakfast with homemade cake and biscuits accompanying the cold cuts of meat, pastries, bread fruit and yogurt and fresh orange juice!

Beautiful place, with nice garden and parking spaces. Our room was pretty spacious with a large terrace and a big bathroom. Kind and friendly owner. We could lend umbrellas for the beach.

We only had wifi signal in the room (not at the pool, terrace, or in the bathroom). The AC is quite old and had a weird smell when starting. There was no outlet near the bed. The pool was not cleaned frequently, and there were leaves or flies floating on the surface.

Friendly and very helpful staff. Room was spacious and bed comfortable. Excellent breakfast included fresh orange, homemade preserves and a wonderful choice of cereals, continental and cooked options. Good parking in lovely grounds. Peaceful Not far from an excellent supermarket

The location suited us because it was quiet and a distance from the tourist trail. However, you would need to have a car if you’re hoping to explore the Algarve from the hotel.

Cristina is lovely. Assisted with reservations and recommendations. Breakfast was great! Delicious selection of foods and really good coffee. Quiet restful stay. Sunset wine on balcony. Easy drive to beaches and supermarket. Go to the Caroveiro Boardwalk and you are above the Benegil Caves, great view and climbing adventure.

Pool was too cool. Towels were very thin and pillows could be more fluffier.

Everything about this place is exceptional. It was like having our own private villa with a beautiful garden, palm trees, orange trees, a swimming pool, all located in the countryside. You need a car to get there - it is off on its own in a rural area, but a nice respite from the busyness of Carvoeiro. We walked into a nearby town (Lagoa) for dinner - about 25 minutes walk each way. Very clean and peaceful. Highly recommended.

We should have stayed longer!

Book this place without hesitation. Felt very safe as a solo female traveler. It's home away from home. Nearby beaches are amazing. Loved the huge garden, where we had a amazing breakfast every morning by the pool. Cristina is Amazing and so t and helpful. Definition of a guesthouse

Very quiet peaceful place to stay and get away from the busy-ness of activity. Christina is an amazing host and made sure we were comfortable and she made a great breakfast!

Google gave us bad directions coming from the east and took us on an old donkey trail. If you see a straight east-west line right before your arrival don’t take it!!

We loved thar the receptionist was very helpful even in thr middle of the night when we needed it.Thw hotel ans room was very clean ans spacious...and breakfast generous.

Initially upon arrival the sitting room.had an old smell... Also, advertised as Airbnb..it was more of a hotel as there was no direct access to thr kitchen.
