The staff were amazing, we had contact with numerous team members throughout our stay, & they were all so friendly & helpful in their own ways. They were very genuine, no fake nonsense at all, which I really loved. The room overall was cute, was cosy & I can see it being super cosy in the colder months. Loads of parking & the pub itself was great. My boyfriend loved the big bath. We had both dinner & breakfast at the pub & both were great. Exceptional taste, quality & value.

I am not a bath girl, so having only a bath with a hand held shower head was a real disappointment for me. The water temp wasn't great & the water pressure was pretty poor so I really struggled trying to 'shower' in the morning. We only stayed for one night, so it was far from the end of the world, but if if we were staying longer, I can see it being an issue for someone like me. I feel like the tv could do with an upgrade too. However, all that said, I could happily stay here again, knowing now that I can maybe request a room with a shower

Very good, helpful, thoughtful service, fresh milk to take to the room, included breakfast very good overall and the bacon exceptional, crispy on the outside, but not dried out. We ate in the evening before, very good small portions as we had eaten out elsewhere earlier in the day, there was a very good natured but loud party in the pub area and the staff suggested we eat in the restaurant as it would be quieter. Bed was comfortable, the room was nice and warm and quiet on a windy cold night

Lovely looking deep bath, it looked so inviting, but the waterfowl was slow so it was hard to get a decent depth and temperature of water, andno shower curtain around the bath so a bit nervous of getting water everywhere if we tried to shower.

The King’s Arms was easy to find and in a great location for our visit to the Cotswolds. The building had plenty of character and we liked the games room which also had access to the bar.

We booked 2 rooms and the TV didn’t work in either. Decoration wasn’t perfect but we can accept that because it is an old building. However the frame surrounding the bed had thick dust on the top of it, so needs attention re cleanliness. The toilet was old and stained and probably needs replacing.

Plenty of off street parking, lovely coaching inn, fabulous staff, clean accommodation, delicious food, quiet and relaxing sleep.

Just a couple of things. The tv wasn’t working, we think it was a battery/remote control problem, the standing lamp wasn’t working. I’m sure the staff would’ve sorted both but as we were only staying one night it didn’t really bother us, The breakfast menu was in a folder in the room, so we’d chosen our breakfasts before arriving at our table in the morning only to find a different menu which was slightly annoying.

The property was easy to find and convenient as a half way stop on our journey to the West Country. There was a large car park. Booking in was easy and the manager was extremely helpful. We dined in the restaurant in the evening and the meal was excellent. The room and en-suite was clean and comfortable. The shower needs an upgrade but the price for the room compensated for this.

The breakfast was disappointing considering the excellent quality of the evening meal. We stayed on our way down and on our return. The first time the English Breakfast was presented with burnt toast, bacon and sausages. The second time was not much better. On the plus side we had espresso coffees with our breakfast which is not usually offered in hotels.

As the pub was being renovated and we weren’t given enough notice we were upgraded to a cottage from a double room. The pub is very pretty but a bit tired looking so renovation is well overdue

It wouldn’t be fair to criticise anything as the manager and staff were very attentive considering the work that was going on ! Just disappointed not to be able to have lunch or dinner. The nearest place to eat and have a drink was about 10 minutes away but we had a very nice breakfast both mornings of our stay.

Smartly furnished accomodation, with seperate seating and sleeping areas, in a location that was convenient whilst not noisy. Enjoyed the breakfast options. The proximity of the arboreatum was a plus for us.

The bline intended for the main window of the seating area had been swapped with that designed for a different (smaller) window, as it did not work. That gave a blind on the main window that was too short to ensure full privacy in the sitting area. It wasn't obvious how to turn the heating on, as the larger units with obvious switches did not seem to work. There was a small unit which we finally spotted was touch operated. It was enough for our stay, but I am not sure it would have been if the weather was colder.

One of the most comfortable beds we have had in our travels. The weekday price was quite good. The food in the restaurant was good, and the service as well. We liked the location between Bath and Tetbury, and it was a perfect place to stop during our journey through the Cotswolds. There was a kettle for tea and coffee, and bottles of water were also supplied. It was surprisingly quiet for being above a restaurant. We stayed on a Thursday night.

The cable TV in our room didn't work, but we never reported it, and I am sure they would have responded if we had. We just ended up watching a bit of news on our phones instead.

The place itself was stunning, with a charming rustic vibe. The location was excellent. The staff definitely deserves praise, especially Firad. He made us feel very welcome and well cared for. When my friend and I couldn’t finish the soup, he graciously offered us complimentary desserts. He was warm, friendly, and wonderfully attentive—Firad truly deserves a raise!

The food definitely needs improvement. For dinner, we had soup that was overly salty. The toast was burnt black at breakfast, and the eggs were hard-boiled instead of poached.

Absolutely perfect position to badminton horse trials Lovely pub and food Breakfast was early on the Saturday which is a massive bonus, and takeaway rolls on the Sunday for us to attend badminton early, superb. Very welcoming staff. Bed was so comfortable and room wasn’t too hot.

Could do a bit more with cleanliness in the rooms, ie skirting boards not clean for a while and around the base of the shower. But didn’t put us off coming again.
