Very easy to find and close to the train station for DLR & C2C. Our room was clean and comfortable and the building has a calm atmosphere. Also lovely garden. Yurt cafe next door was nice too and the lovely Limehouse Basin Marina area just a short walk from St Katharine's.
The only problem was breakfast. both toasters were broken on the Saturday but I do not blame the staff for this as it sounds like they were short circuited by a guest putting a knif into one of the toasters. No hot food offered at breakfast and all buffet continental which we were not really aware of but it was still nice enough.

Two minutes from Limehouse Station and easy travelling to all parts of the city. Comfortable bedroom, with all we needed, and excellent breakfasts. Refreshments available throughout the day with a choice of comfortable lounges. Very clean and tidy and very attentive staff. Ideal as a base for exploring London - or as a place for rest and retreat.

I stayed in a twin room with my teenage daughter for 1 night as we were going to see Kylie at the O2. It was placed perfectly near to the Limehouse DLR, which made getting around London really easy. We had a garden view room and it was a very peaceful, lovely setting. The breakfast was very nice, good selection of sweet and savoury offerings. The beds were super comfy and great tea and coffee facilities.
We weren't so keen on the bathroom. It was a wetroom but because the toilet was right next to the shower the whole floor got wet affecting the whole area. Also the shower pole was broken so the shower head was stuck at a low level. Room was clean but a little shabby.

Check in time till late, right next to train station, they have a Yurt cafe that is a lovely space & great food, room & facilities were really clean, great garden to sit in & really peaceful. Breakfast was well organised and had a good selection of tea coffee & juices although there was no cooked breakfast just a cold selection & plenty of it. For London it's a great place & could have stayed longer.
There was no cooked breakfast but if you wanted you could buy yourself a cooked breakfast at the Yurt. All food & drink at the Yurt is separate from the price of your stay.

The Venue was close to our concert venue, was very reasonably priced for the area/location, room was clean and comfortable, bathroom a little dated but not an issue, breakfast was a little disappointing as it was only continental option but had a good verity of pastries and breads and also offered Gluten free option which was nice to see, the venue was lovely and staff were very helpful, the chapel on the grounds was beautiful at night very peaceful, I am not religious but it is a lovely space for quiet contemplation if you need it during your stay, Also to add they do ring the bell at 8am in the chapel just to make you aware but it did not bother me as I was already awake but if this would bother you then I would advise against staying here, please be respectful if you do stay and be mindful of the setting that you are in, this isn't somewhere to stay if you've been out partying and you are going to be loud, but if you enjoy a little peace in a busy city then this is a good option, I would definitely stay again.

I stayed for 3 nights in a two bedroom (apartment) type. There is a kitchen where you can prepare simple meals, and the bathroom has great hot water. The accommodation is clean, and the bedroom is cozy and comfortable, making it perfect for relieving fatigue. Breakfast is simple but has everything you need, and the food is replenished quickly, so there is no inconvenience at all. The staff is friendly. Although the accommodation is located in London's Zone 2, it is very close to the subway and bus stops, so there was no problem at all in exploring various parts of London.
Nothing.

Lovely clean and comfortable apartment.
Staff were not very welcoming. Couldn’t get card to work on the door after 11pm and guy in reception wasn’t too happy at having to let me in. Worst thing about the stay was breakfast!!! Went down at 8.50am. The already poor selection of food had been wiped out. Every table was dirty with empty plates and cups. No bread for toasting. No juice. Only one wee guy seemed to be working there and was under pressure. We gave up and went to the yurt cafe next door (which was lovely!) but had to pay for it and didn’t know until afterwards we could have got a discount 😭 Overall stay was good just let down by grumpy staff and poor service at breakfast time.

We had a two bedroom flat which was ideal as a base for our weekend in London. The flat was warm, clean & comfortable, with a handy kitchenette/ dining/ seating area, and only a very short walk to Limehouse Station/ local shops/ pub & restaurants. We enjoyed the continental breakfast; which ranged from cereals, toast and pastries to cold meats, eggs and fruit (with gluten free options and non dairy milk available, if required). The staff were all very polite, friendly and helpful.
Nothing although we would ask for a room away from the front door in future, as our flat/ apartment (no 2) was above the front door, which could be heard closing every time someone came & went from around 6.30am - If you are a heavy sleeper or early riser then this probably wouldn’t be an issue for you.

The Royal Foundation of St. Katharine is truly an oasis in the heart of London. It's a rare gem offering peace and serenity amidst the bustle of the city. The beautiful garden and the profound silence make it feel like a hidden retreat—something you wouldn't expect to find in London. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The rooms are cozy, and the beds are wonderfully comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. Although I didn’t try the breakfast, the delicious aroma of freshly toasted bread greeted me every morning, which was a lovely touch. The location is slightly outside the city center, but it’s well-connected by buses just around the corner, making it easy to get wherever you need to go. My favorite spaces were the lounge and the garden. I spent several evenings in the lounge, doing some art, and it was so peaceful that it felt almost surreal. If you’re looking for a tranquil place to unwind, I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s a haven of calm in the middle of a vibrant city.
The location is slightly outside the city center, which might not be ideal for some. However, this is easily solved by the excellent bus connections just around the corner, making it simple to get wherever you need to go.

Quiet. Clean high quality bed and bedding. Temperature excellent. Good for hot and cold people. Towels clean and soft. Hair dryer great 😸. Excellent value. So close to DLR!!! Wonderful atmosphere. Food nice.
Shower needed a bit more TLC but after staying at many different establishments (0 stars up to 5* stars), this is an area that often needs work. For me it was fine. I would still stay again, others mays have a different opinion. I was pleasantly surprised it wasn't noisier as the floors are all laminate/hardwood. usually, with no carpets, it's a nightmare, noise travels but I can say i did find it noisy. I was pleasantly surprised it was really quiet, maybe it was the type of people staying?
